Silhouetted Stagnant Shadows

Silhouetted Stagnant Shadows

Stagnant shadows of night sequestered slaves in sight
Faces fading in fright as the fear feeds the lethargic light
Silhouettes of love in plight demons dancing in delight
As darkness devours the white, images surreal will smite

Within negative reflections of my loves dire defections
Outlines of lost connections metaphors of misdirection’s
Dormant internal infections reliving raging resurrections
Silhouetted projections of my dismal depleting affections

Black portraits of palpable pain never to rejoice and regain
Darkened phantoms of grain scornfully sabotaging the sane
Deceivers of the defiant drain tragically tangled of the twain
Vanity in a voiceless vain the sentinels stand in their reign

A dark matter display particles of light have gone astray
Within a decomposing decay a silhouetting fractal buffet
In my capturing love delay, silent shadows bitterly betray
And now my dreams are far away within a black hole ballet.

Premium Member -A Little More Gossip

I have a little more gossip to share with you
Again about the alphabet
There is unrest amongst some of the letters
Creating stress and letter upset

Now, Z has major anger issues
Due to an inferiority complex
Being the least popular and used letter
Z feels a complete lack of respect

O is also not a happy camper
Though O’s situation is different to Z’s
O is a raging hypochondriac
With constant complaints of illness and dread

‘O poor ,poor me’ O cries
I have this and that and you letters are all so unkind
The other letters in frustration often yell out
Stop acting like an O-hole, O“ its all in your mind”

Now P has a troubling medical condition
With ongoing bladder infections
Continually P’ing and feeling down in the dumps
Desperately in need of medical interjection

The alphabet board have now formed a medical support group
Called, I C U…..It will…. B O K
To help Z , O and P
Reclaim their health and once again stand proud in their alphabet array

Premium Member Forgive Yourself

The future holds no premium
For a person brawling with their past.
There are no birds in last year's nest.
There are no rememberings to unmask.

Memories are the fruits of our existence
Where some bloom and some may die
When exposed to an aura of understanding
Life's lessons shall provide.

'Tis Human to learn from our mistakes...
Making bold of life's infections
Slathering a healthy dapple of forgiveness
As we sinners surmise a new direction.

We should freely right past wrongs...
Banishing past transgressions to the night
As the journey may task our very soul...
So it's best to travel light.

I no longer fear a backward glance
Or the breeze of yesteryear.
I have made my bed and here I lie
With a spirit crystallized and clear.

I ignore the minions who dredge my past...
Casting forth their hellish stones...
As I eagerly embrace one of God's greatest gifts...
Which is a future yet unknown.

Premium Member Angst On the Big Screen

There you go again, you “Cyber Brat”!
There is “no such website”? What is that?

First you lead me through a wild web maze;
I Google, then succumb to your craze.

What happens if I hit “delete”?
Will my work vanish, incomplete?

Or do you wish to cast me aside?
I’ll tap “escape” and wash out high tide!

Your camera is like a stalker;
I cuss it like an inane squawker.

If I press “shift,” will the Earth’s poles move?
Your choice of labels you could improve.

So I’ll “insert” myself into your brain,
In a quest to make you more humane.

The poor page tires of your “up” and “down”
Now the court jester can wear your crown!

No more “errors” or lost connections,
And I’ll rid those viral infections.

Take me back to the old typewriter,
Days when the world’s load seemed far lighter.

I promise I’ll never eke out a "tweet"
When I replace “Word” with a paper sheet.

The old “White Out” is still in my desk
And it’s never looked more statuesque!

Armor of God

Like our smartphone powers us through our day
We have to learn to put God into play
In the most powerful way
He is in our hearts to stay
So we must start our day
Asking God for his protection when we pray

Against life's worst kind of infections
That trips us up allowing us to lose our direction
Our Lord with all his loving affection
Gives us a suit of armor to shield us from evil
We constantly feel that is ever so real

Knowing in Gods deal
He provides us with his holy seal
A suit of armor made of unpenetrable steel
Bearing the breastplate of righteousness
Allowing health happiness and good fortune
To make its way into our lives

Giving us a helmet of salvation
So we can be saved and redeemed
Throughout our duration
Of our time here in his creation
Learning and cultivating in his ways

Providing his mighty sword for our protection
Against satan's demons and warlords
When we put Gods armor on every day
We ensure satan will never take our soul away

Because we keep our faith and give God our trust
So all satans plans will be reduced to dust
Loving God is always a must
To stay far away from Satan's lust
Everything he promises is a bust
God is our moral crust
Whom we should never distrust

Premium Member Wash It Away

Wake up fresh in the morning, free from daytime's infections
Splash a pot of coffee on your pristine complexion

Rev up your car's engine: Send a cloud of smoke into the air
Motor off to work: Emit toxic pollutants over the road everywhere

Sprint to your desk: Turn on the computers, the a/c and the lights
Ratchet up enough current to frazzle countless insects and mites

At break, leave the office: Enjoy a quick smoke
Then smell your clothes -- a tar-and-nicotine cloak

Back at your desk, sweat pours down your body
Mingled with the smell of your cloak, you're off to the potty

Where you befoul the toilet, the hallway and office
With tincture of excrement, exotic odor so nauseous ...

                              **********

Now this poem's not going to sink, burn or crash
Here's how to remove gobs of rubbish and trash

Step into the shower at the close of each day
Turn on the water full-throttle: Blast those germs away

Let the welcome droplets cascade down your head, face and arms
Wash the stench away with H2O's charms

Premium Member Mother India

Oh, Mother India,

The sacred smock of your cremated children
Over your revered land, I see

The lamentations of the death-stricken families
I daily hear

The unbearable agony of your offsprings, in my
heart, I constantly feel.

Do not despair holy India, for it is not only me that
shows compassion

But

The whole world, with sympathy, has turned its
Eyes upon you

All nations are willing to assist you to overcome this
Horrible affliction

Thus

You to return to your illustrious status

And

The love of humanity to be glorified!

*There have been at least 300,000 new infections every day in the past week, with more than 360,000 new cases and more than 3500 deaths in the past 24 hours.

A Life Lost

A dad he was to my man,
lost in a world of abuse.
Selling all he had in life,
to fund his addictions.

Digging flesh from bone,
stabbing bugs crawling wild.
Demons appear in torment,
beaconing him deeper.

A knife into the thigh,
sent him sickly out.
Hospital tests for all,
not knowing the truth.

Infections settle silently,
staff reared its ugly head.
Confined in solitary moments,
being alone and scared.

Stitches close the injury,
sickness embeds his soul.
Taunting images haunt him,
through every corned space.

Eyes cloud with blurred vision,
surgery required suddenly quick.
Sight saved from blindness,
doctors breathe with a sigh.

Something else has happened,
immune system has shut down.
Disease rested in his marrow,
the fight fire life has begun.

Myloid Dysplastics Disease,
fogs his body hard and cold.
Respirators knocking loudly,
asleep he has no choice.

A gasp of air was his final,
machines took over from there.
The last time we would see him,
full of any kind of life of his own.

Two weeks has gone by,
no change for the better.
Septic shock attacks kidneys,
we all seen him enter heaven.

It was a total all together,
from the time he stabbed his leg.
Four months from that day,
his end would be forever...

Premium Member Talk To Me

Would you please tell me where I wronged you
Said I to Love
As we sat close to each other
Yet,
Distanced!

Would you please tell me
As I understand not,
After all,
I simply obeyed the skies,
The booms of my heart
And the tugs of my senses!

I obeyed them all
And lay there
With my soul bared,
With my porous infections exposed
With my fragility held tight in your hands!

Still, when you broke me
I chose to hide my pain
Behind sweet civilities
And neutral smiles
As,
Believing in the madness swivelling around the mysticism
Which desires our bond
Remains
A cause meant solely for the mad!

I don't understand how I wronged you
Maybe the silence, coupled with misunderstanding,
That has settled comfortably between us
Is to be blamed!

Maybe, all it requires is a push of the will
As the second hand pushes the minute one
As the winds push todays into tomorrows
As fate itself pushes souls towards their chosen journey!

Still, know that I remain yours
To handle with care
Or to break with rage
I remain yours
As your solace is to me
What nectar is for bees!

I have written for you the day I started to write
I have written lines and lines
Knowing not that I would cross your path in this world
And I shall keep doing so
As long as the body that carries me
Still has enough strength in it to allow me to!

I Am Not Different

I am a child who is diabetic
and I will not be apologetic

I will not be embarrassed or ashamed
for I am not to blame

I am very brave and take injections everyday
always fighting infections along the way

I have days of dizziness when my sugar gets to low
so I may need to slow

While others have desert that every child loves
I'm under the thumb and can have none

I am proud of who I am!
So when you look at me I am not different
'I'm Simply Me'!

Premium Member One Last Tear

It looks like a tidal wave if looked under a microscope

Its valid only for the user the manual says

Salt is the antiseptic that prevents infections

It didn't prevent you

You my last tear and the salt

Did the wife of Lot feel her last tear

When I sleep the tears are still made

Washing and lubricating my eyes

Our love should have been washed

The words twirled and cleaned and rinsed

They would come out fresh and the kindness

Instead the last tear waits silently

It won't be recycled

One last tear waits with hope in the hamper

A Shot of Hiv

Heart blushes
Full of threat
As the blood swims on the inner
Carries danger on its hosts
Infections amidst

Cells stopped dancing
As the virus replicate
Immunity shut down
Nerves get crazier

The brain sings a lonely tune
As the body waved goodbye
Never imagined that one pleasure
Will bring an unwanted harm
The system has surrendered
Death applauded for its wait
The physique is now gray
Eyes closed as the viral paved way

Coming Back To Life

Buried alive with obsessions
Suffocated by depression
Stuck underneath anxiety
Further from reality
Contemplating actions
From any point of view
For proper explanation
In things that others do
Tasking on others problems
As if they were my own
If I continue at this rate
I’m sure to be alone
Mind filled with confusion
Masked as a disguise
Keeping feelings bottled up
Adding to my demise
Finding a reason
To believe in tomorrow
With hopes not to bring with it
Anymore sorrow
I need to learn how to let go
Of past situations
In order to rid myself
Of further complications
Take on the mind frame
Everything is going to be alright
Allowing room for what is positive
To come into my sight
Where I can veer
In a new direction
On a road that is leading
Towards perfection
Fighting off infections
Plaguing my existence
Using strength that I can find
To help me go the distance
Someday I’ll crawl out
From within my grave
To see who it is
That I have to save
I’ll find the answers so, many times
I’ve searched for
I’ll then know the reasons
I will have found it, the cure!
