From childhood it was a world of two...you and I...
I leaned lightly, leisurely against your heart and you let me in.

We were five I use to draw you rose scented flowers
using an ordinary led pencil. Youth! The world was ours.

Seven!  I know that was the first time I saw you blush.
I whispered a song for you so no one else would hear.

Oh when we were nine! The potato sack race.  I entered with Lisa.
You gave me that look. Oh that look!  And you  left without a word.

At eleven years old I had my "magic wink". "A Magic Wink" you'd
say sarcastically.  How it made you giggle to make fun of it.

It was at thirteen we decided to burn the gym floor with our moves.
Our first dance.  You stole my breath. Emptied the room of oxygen.

Fifteen...we started running and my God we ran and ran...
our shoe prints dug into the concrete. It was then I knew. Forever.

Then suddenly at seventeen in the slip of time you left, dissapeared.
Stunned! I slept through the next two years even in the full light of day.

At nineteen I swam an endless pool but even the chlorine couldn't
clear your scent from my memory as my spirit filled out hard as steel.

Was it on my twenty first birthday you showed up? You showed up
tried to hug me hello. Silent! Cold! I turned and walked away.

Was I still twenty one when I apologized for that day. When you asked
for an explanation. I recited false words but we both knew. Hurt for hurt.

Then at twenty five we still had issues to work out. I asked you bluntly
why you cut me loose in the prime of our youth. You my first and only.

I asked the question that burned in my gut. Without words your eyes spoke.
You were still in love with me. There was only me. I your first and only.

Finally our lips met to never part again. Left to wonder why, I accept our
lives without an answer. My love was that. Why would I have let you go?

Older than old now. One last time you leave. Death makes this choice.
Alone again I remember how I never knew why once you left.

Not everything  is explained or understood,
like music by a one arm man playing a violin.

I sport my blank stare. Naked is the body of life.
Mystery sings blind the song of the lark!

and I...

i think of you.

I could have cried like a bride at a funeral
Bled out, dry. I could have but I was already
dehydrated...I

i think of you

I wish someone could turn the
moon back on, turn the dimmer back up
on the stars. I can't stand these dark
black nights void of even one tiny ray
of light. I am tired of walking blind through
the evenings of my everyday life...I

i think of you

Yesterday I dreamt the night sky exploded.
Bright white pinholes of light appeared .
It was as if an invisible hand was holding a huge
Fourth of July sparkler against a waterfall of black gold.
I watched the oil well blaze. The whole Earth was on fire.
The world was burning hot. Without fear I walked through
the flames warm, comforted as if I was being held in his light...I

i think of you

Still in the grip of my sleep suddenly an ocean appears.
its water rises and shapes itself like the head of a dragon.
Its neck is shaped like a Chinese silk fan. At the same time
it is just a huge wave. The kind surfers expect to find in heaven.
There is nothing threatening about this apparition.
Quite the opposite like the fire it feels as if it is a part of me...I

i think of you

Do I miss you?
Miss you? I died with you!
There's a knock at my door but I'm not here.
Life's going to have to wait. I'm in hiding.
I feel safe inside my walls. In reality my bedroom light
is all the outdoors I need. It is my Sun. I hate here without you.
So I lie in my bed motionless starring into my nothingness and I...

i think of you

(Frozen!)

As time passes...introspective...I begin to understand.
The earth, the air, the fire, the water all the elementals are him.

(I begin to thaw!)

He is with me even in my ignorance he has never left me.
You can take the lord into your heart without a word by accepting his light.

(Slightly cold!)

A deeper, purer understanding. A trust that rejects the dark no
matter how black. I am a part of all, a part of one as you are. A part of me.

(Warm!)

I open my curtains...watch the dark exit
hurried as love rushes in. Firmly in his hold...I

I think of you...

Once again with you.
Fully! We...the power of one...I

I think of us.

The Beginning!

A reflection of the coloured pencil drawn sky
skates on the glass smooth surface below it.
While a rebellious group of shades take their positions
on a glorious stage to express themselves artistically and
I...

i think of you

Wisps of clouds shaped like a palm leaf
fan the winds that stoke the fire
of a randomly sketched sunset.
I...

i think of you

The cool of an ocean breeze
travels the shadows of this low lit evening.
Caresses my skin like the essence of romance.
Enthralled by the allure of a candle lit sky,
I...

i think of you...

Our French Bakery early mornings.
Café au lait and croissants.
Our freesia soaked baths.
Your mink soft body.
Its milk and honey scent.

As I fall off
the edge of the world,
I...

i think of you.

I Think Of You - Ground Zero (Part 1)

Leaving under a blood moon
                in a jet plane rising
  los angeles falls behind me
and I...

You.
Two.

                              Clouds dance
to the song of the spiders.
Latent sun rays fall on me like rain...I

...They say third time's the charm.
On planes again.
A sky...endless... and then finally
from the other end of the world to here.
A continent, an island,
an australian flower drunk on wine.
Her...uniqueness lends to her beauty.
...and I

A fourth night.
A church spire at sunset.
At a distance bats fill the sky,
resemble a smoke plume.
...I

I plead the fifth.
It's all these moons.
Tonight a hunter's moon.
She's unable to hide
even with her bowl of clouds.
It's no help.
She has no spoon.
Her luminous rays give her up.
Moonshine in the moonlight over the sea.
...I

I count...five,
six...on the beach.
A purple nightshade,
a sand flower,
Irish eyes speak uniquely to me.
....I

I, you...
you can't roll a seven with one die.

Back on a plane.
A snow fog blinding.
From my window seat a one of a kind view.
Alone,
...I

 I eight...ate...need to eat.

Africa...a Safari.
A plant chloroform green
has holes like cheese.
A large swiss leaf.
I laugh and I...I distract myself.

A stitch in time beats nine.
 Back in North America.
A dilapidated fortress stares down
an overwhelming thunderhead.
...I

I camp out.
It requires a tenth...tent.
An Eagle never blinks.
No eye lids.
An unimpeded view.

...but I...I surrender.
There is no place in the world
I can escape.
...I

i think of you.

You are living art.
Here.
Now.
What I perceive
is what I live.
I perceive us.

I can picture you.
I am photography,
the camera, the lens.
I absorb your image,
process it.
A form of plagiarism

I didn't borrow.
I stole.
Inhaled you but
...I
I dream
and I...

...i think of you.

Premium Member I Think of You - Where You Bloom - 4

A transparent melody paints the walls
in the coloured scent of fresh linen.

The changing of sheets in the morning air
can not erase our dance from evening last.

Outside a late spring asleep too long
with no blooms until June, awakens.

Fully opened September flowers
perfume late night conversations.

Looking outside reveals
only one set of footsteps in both directions.

The days when I would watch you walk,
lagging behind with a smile.

The moss grows wild in the forest...
trees surrounded by families of mushrooms.

The word "family"
so I...

An I for an I
and soon the whole world will be in love.

How I long your hug,
your body encompassing mine.

God exists
no greater proof...

With a single tear I
lay flowers where you bloom...and I

i think of you.

You’re sleeping soundly, but I’m left on fire
Engulfed by flames of burning hot desire
I yearn for you, and in my heart’s an ache
For I must wait till sun kissed, you awake

I think of you, so full of every grace
You’re angel bearings show upon your face
The strength of virile man is in your stance
It makes the heart in me just want to dance

To know that you are mine is sweetest treat
It makes me want each day anew to greet
The joy of losing self there in your eyes
Gives me the wings I need to take to skies

You give me strength; you give me love that’s true
My world is epic all because of you

Sonnet 28 'I Think I Know the Name of Purity'

I think I know the Name of Purity,
It is Your Name -- it holds clear water well!
A Chalice carved almost to shattering,
A white rose, that alone, grows in the dell
With drops of ice adorning its still face
The warmth of heart that comes with falling snow
The few flakes that adorn your lashes, by grace
Delightful cold that creeps up from below
Loquacity that speaks only the Truth,
Amazed by every small, delightful thing
Ubiquitous praise and unbroken Youth
Right Trust, that gave your finger to the Ring
Inevitable Joy, and whispered Love
E'er faithful, that this all is from Above.

Premium Member I Think of You - But I - 2

The rain outside plays games with the webs that cloud my mind,
I think I hear a tune. A drum solo that heralds memories buried deep
and sealed in concrete. Even the locked safe with five feet deep of steel
can not resist the lightning strike of the Goddess of Thunderstorms...I

...i think of you.

A pain from yesteryears thought dead rises from the ashes...

I think...No!
No! I will fight this.
Forget when I flew too close to the sun
my feathered wings singed.

I fight...I do...I try...I do...but I...

i think of you...

You,
your fresh baked sugar cookie scent,
your China Doll moonlight white complexion.

I think of you...and I...I weep

I on the mountain, exposed
as vultures tear at my flesh.
Devour my organs like so much fodder
and everyday whole again...
the creatures hover to start anew.

In my sorrow,
in my physical pain
I attempt to resist...but I...

i think of you.

Iodine flows through my veins.
My screams echo.
My blood drenched tears
flow like a mountain stream
and i pray
and i whisper the word "mercy"

and still...

still...I

i think of you.

All I Think About Is You

Looking out into the setting sun

Bright orange and brilliant red hues

Mind drifting off in the distance

All I think about is you

Each day we are getting closer

but you are so far away

My heartbeat is getting stronger

As I think about you

I need your love to hold me up

When life comes crashing down

Make sense out of everything

When all seems lost

You seem true

Looking out in the setting sun

Flickers of hope I see

Foreseeing just you and me

In each and every dream

My heart is calling you home

Come slip inside my room

Lay your head upon my pillow

Waiting, wishing, wondering

All I think about is you

I Think Of You - A Horrendous Night (Part 0)

Two a.m....
I open my window

...a crack,

the dark is blinding.

It is a severe cold outside
a stream of freezing air seeps in.

Two fifteen a.m....
I open my window another crack,

struggling to sleep...!

Eyes closed,
I count from one thousand to one
it might as well be ten thousand.

Still not use to a lonely bed
six of my senses explode like
a dandelion globe in a tornado...I

i think of you.

Raise the white flag,
wait the sunrise.
Wasn't it an eon ago
I drank the sunset?

It's never lost on me
I always ingest miracles slowly.

It's freezing cold now in my room...I think!
I feel everything...I feel nothing.

My face buried in both my hands...I

i think of you...

I Think Only of You

 My cherished one

What difference does it make

if We are , or if we're not belongers ?

If I'll never see the moon in your eyes

Taste the stars from your lips

Feel your touch 'pon my hair

and your breath on my skin .

What difference does it make ?

When we know ,our quiet thoughts lay side by side

When wherever I am

Its your warmth that descends softly in me .

My first dawning moments , are always filled with you,

and so are those moments before I close my eyes

in the stillness of my room.

My cherished one, I think ...

And when I think , I think only of you

And when I see , I see only you ,

Wandering by in sun-dappled fields

Wrapping my heart ,veiling my soul

lost in the breeze , stealing my dreams.

PS Listening to an italian song calledl 'Grande Amore by Il Volo , it made me think of this....

I Think of You

I think of you

I see you

I see you in my glass mirror

undressing the night

I see you

I see the reflection of your smile

and beauty of your eyes

as my bare shoulders glow

Wrapped in a golden shawl

of a rising star

I think of you

I hear you

I listen to your whispers

through the symphony of waves

crawling gently to the shore

of my open arms

I think of you

I smell you

I smell the scent of your lips

A sweet aroma of fresh spring rain

falling softly on my hair

I think of you

I feel you

I feel your caress

I feel you rocking me

in the cradle of the moon

Pouring honey in my dreams

and rose-petals 'pon my heart

I think of you

I see you,hear you,smell you,feel you

And when I close my eyes

I taste you

I taste your crystallized sugars

of million candies in a jar

I think of you

In the stillness of my room

You're never too far

Wherever I am

is wherever you are

I think of you.

What I Think

Honey it's probaly not best befor I have
a drink.
To look deep in my eyes and ask what
I think.

Cause Im far from a romantic and
your far from a thinker.
Short skirt nice legs.
Your a go go dancer and I just another drinker.

After a few glasses I'll savor that last drop.
I'll lose my mind.
And hopefully you'll lose your top.

have a private party for only two.
well shed more than ambition.
As i drink outta your shoe.

I'll empty your liquor cabbinet and you'll keep
my wallet shrinkin.
My dear it dont take a rocket scientist to
figure out what Im thinkin.

Premium Member I Think Therefore I Am

I THINK THEREFORE I AM

"An ounce of hypocrisy is worth
a pound of ambition" --Michael Korda

Liberty...
This everyone's want--
stretching an autonomy to unbuckle self-discovery

I got mites and bugs living in my head--
infesting my mind. They... daring a chance
to worm my guts and electrify my peace.
They adulterate seeking ways to emerge
from claws of doubts to grains of trust.
My veil of grace they bite and bite
devouring me 'til I set to pursue my act.

Should I repulse...
then spread my wings to fly?
or should I be a little puppet--
controlled, slave to strings attached to me?
or I'd rather choose a mask--
my gamble to earn sympathy or popularity;
my weapon sheltering my luck;
my fall or my win?

Cogito ergo sum.
I think, therefore I am.

The mites and bugs in my skull blown
from shocks infused by my firing drive.
My cavalry of Modesty, brave to rise
face the furnace of battlegrounds.

Insincerity. Malingering. Pretension
are artillaries luring hypocrisy
but love, honesty and bravery:
the bombs I defy to conquer the trades.

If God is with me, who can be against me?

Standing like a Molave
rooted evergreen, ever strong.
My face bulletproof
to those who I believe wrong.
A standing soldier ready to offer her life
to fraud and tyranny.

I refuse to be fed on standing lies.
The harpoons of verity, I battling dart,
raining towards the barbaric boxes as they...

They are my lioness roar, my freedom and my soar
piercing the pumping heart of those who eat innocence,
I... dauntless!
