Best Hot Air Balloon Poems
Hot air balloons were escaping from the house
Coming from every slither and slat like a mouse
They rose from the doorway into the wind
Colors of turquoise, orange, yellow, all ascend
Where had they been? Where had they been?
Some came from the windows, others from a crack.
They floated up gracefully, and none wanted back.
I watched their colors go up in the sky.
They were gorgeous and plentiful.
I wonder why?
Earthbound creatures they
While I commune with the wind
Drifting with my dreams
our love and wishes
glide like a hot-air balloon…
our hearts collective
She floated on her merry way
And left the crowds in pale dismay
A string of streamers flew astray
As the balloon swept to the clouds
The people down below were sold
Their tickets, bright and blooming gold
To take a flight, so they were told
Upon Her Majesty’s Suite.
Who knew the girl would steal the craft
The floating stolen hot air raft
She tipped her golden head and laughed
As the ants below her scurried.
They called the Mayor and the Sheriff too
And hollered and hooped until they turned blue
But the clouds caught her up in their silver hue
And the sky erased her presence.
The town folks say they see her still
On moonless nights, against her will,
Her make-shift flight will last until
She steadies her weary soul.
Like a hot air balloon lying on the ground
So it was with my soul before the Lord I found
Woven and stitched in such a finely knitted lace
And all throughout this balloon you could see God's Face
But with such a heavenly cloud speckled blue sky
It just didn't have the one thing it needed to fly
But it was right there just like we all would know
And that balloon looks so helpless without that glow
There on the ground lacking but just that one thing
As all around it you can hear the birds chirp and sing
It needed but only that uplifting flame
As all you need to do is call upon the Holy Spirit by Name
And once it had just that one single light
That balloon began to fill and stand up right
And as He lifts you, your feet firmly planted on the floor
This is the time that your spirit is going to soar
Up, up--high we glide,
warm winds through misty cloud seas--
wandering, serene.

Yeyy you come
I thought you’d never come
What a foolish one
You are
Act like a knucklehead
Full of balloons
Hot air and helium
Can’t see where it is flying
The wind carries you anywhere it chooses?
You need to be anchored up!
Always flying high.
To reach wondrous heights unknown.
Reindeer deflector.

hot air balloon lifts
off the ground, there goes
great debate below
seeming solid ground
a noxious odor
but way up here
the air is clear
the birds fly by
and so do i
ballooning
is such fun
join me, you
dream big
seize day
light

Come fly with me in my hot-air balloon.
We'll skim over mountain tops very high.
see golden sun replaced by silver moon
as stars weave tapestry in ebon sky.
With freedom we'll fly like birds in the air,
in and out of clouds, dodging sudden storm.
watch lightning's fingers spread everywhere,
see how, in clouds of mist, rain showers born.
Our balloon will take us where morning breaks,
as dawn skips gaily over waking sky.
Colors so lovely they'll make our heart ache,
and clouds drift slowly by our vantage high.
Alas, our beautiful journey must end
But places visited and wonders found:
lovliness, before we could but pretend.
In a balloon, we'll sense magic around.

Have pondered..
Moments of introspection..
Along..
Figments of imaginations..
Scenic views of beauty and grandeur..
Breathtaking landscapes ..
Luscious greenery and massive trees..
Up and away ..
High above the deep blue sky...
Time had simply vanished..
Everything is in the moment
Of the present..
Only the precise moment exits..
Calm winds and rays of sunshine..
High above the deep blue sky..
Feeling a natural high ..
Soaring so high..
A free bird with spectacular wings..
Feeling gigantic..
Standing tall..
Towering so high..
On a hot air balloon ride..
Fluorescent colored balloons surrounds..
Quiet and serene..
Paradise on earth
Fascination of this wondrous wonderland..
It began with a day dream..
A day dream of which
Had become surreal
Through..
An exit outside of body..
Had reached the highest heights..
High above the deep blue sky
On a hot air balloon ride
With fluorescent colored balloons..
A place where time no longer exits..
Timeless paradise on earth..
A temporary
Departure of physical body..
All experienced and captured with a light body..
The frost has touched the Holly leaves
It waits patiently to be released by the sun
Once again into the atmosphere
Then be changed again next year
The winter early sun cast long shadows
Falling down the hill, valley, and up part way the other hill
The cold air soon the body does fill
The rooster crows as though air still warm
Just as excited to greet the dawn
The crows caw and flutter many sounds and alarms
They don't seem to mind not being warm
The cat comes to me hungarily wanting her bowl filled
Duty and responsibility call me away and not on a hot air balloon..
In this open season of divisiveness and hate,
our President is being diminished like fish bait.
People forgetting his accomplishments and character traits.
They lack empathy for what's been on his plate,
show loyalty to the one facing a criminal fate,
that one who is afraid to debate: the liar,
the racist, the cheater, the snake.
The hot air balloon they elevate.
Once when I was traveling across azure sky,
I was startled to see a lone giraffe going by,
It roamed with grace, head up in the clouds,
As if born to be remote, from earthy crowds.
In my hot air balloon, I got a bird's eye view,
The giraffe looked straight into my eyes, too!
I went all around the world in my red balloon,
Yet, that was the finest sight, like June moon.

The fish were excited to see the hot air balloon cat.
They agreed to come along, one brought his blue hat.
Once attached to the bottom of the basket they flew
Through the air to Michigan, maybe Kalamazoo.
This is great! The fish agreed with each other.
Until the cat pulled up their father and brother.
No one came back down, which seemed odd to them.
By the end of the ride the cat was full, said story teller Jim.
