Teachers work best when in seminars
Poets read verses in smokey bars
Chefs rock with a spoon
Plumbers show their moon
But Astronomers shoot for the stars!

Happenstance Hazards
Expectation's misdemeanors
     outflanking volition
infringed upon experience's
       self-imposed options,
griping on about whirlwind's
      imposing velocity to
  which atmospheric pressure
     has naught resolving power
  whence high...

Limerick Hazards
Why you look at me with a snake eyed stare
The limericks is to entice laughter, I swear
Don’t take it to heart
You’ll be a miserable old fart
Warning, eating food and limericks, beware....

Hazards
Hazards.

Like the morning dew,
In the summer time,
I hadn't the sun but life to sue,
For its forthcoming crime.

So much time without a smile,
And when comes the time to,
Another hazard, another hullabaloo,
Like losing your child smile.

Several years ago,
Your mother, a C-section to undergo,
Gave birth to an Angel,
In...

Dog Hazards
I was having a hunch,
that my dog ate my lunch,
it was kinda rude,
now I have no food,
as my doggie goes munch, munch, munch....

Public Transportation Hazards
I rush every morning holding my coffee .
I board the bus , checking my phone
I want no problems .
As mind prepares for hectic hours
some daring guy breathes on my ear,
questioning me for my IG .
 beyond upset
I say : no...

The Disquieting Threat of Floral Hazards
He avoided florists,
those over-cultivated blooms
in their overheated shops
seemed to be a perversion of nature.

He shunned all those floral gangsters;
the vainglorious gladioli,
eugenically forced greenhouse geraniums
with their large Shar-Pei heads.
Garish claustrophobic hosts of peonies
pressing-in and crowding his mind
with a ballooning menace.
His stomach trembled when confronted
with petulant Pelargonium
or...

The Hazards of Sleep
a dormant serpent lies
covered up
at the foot of every bed
just the tip
of tail or tongue
exposed
& a dagger under every pillow
whether covered
in jewels or rust
every blade will cut the same
one or both
may hold the taint of poison;
choose carefully your beds...

Hazards of Monotony
I escalate the hazards of monotony,
By choosing to stay.
I deteriorate the soul of fraternity,
By asking a stay.
I inhale the taste like an addict,
By an approval of denial.
How hard I try to shake it away,
Yet I get drowned tremendously.
It empowers my haunts,
But denies an agreement.
Hardly I...

Premium Member Skiing
Skiing steep sloped slaloms one snowy week,
Knowing my courses from every stark peak.
In whiteouts of bitter blizzards bleak
Which lacked hazards to frighten me to freak.
Nothing was too risky to stop my streak,
Getting ski heroes poled into a creek....

Premium Member Wandering Women
Lively little Linda, lost love of long ago,
Willingly wandered west with wild Wanda Wilson
Traipsing twice from Tennessee to Tyler Texas
Then to Tucumcari, Tucson, and Tonopah.

Likely larks lured to Lilly’s Lovely Ladies’ Lounge
Hardly having hazards hover their honest heads,
Both babes badly beaten on broken brothel beds
Rescued...

The rain
If comes too often
Makes people sad
Besides flood and flu
Inconveniences and economics hazards
I pity the rain because it's like
The sky is crying
A lot of sorrow is ahead
The rain is busy washing away Deforested soils, human sins and Airborne virus
Don't cry baby
You make...

Finally the blood began to coagulate
my journey is ended I just recently thought
now the dizziness in my head seems to abate
but a broken leg may be the trial I wrought
when finding my dog was surely all I had sought

Life is uncertain when catching us...

On a Honeymoon Night
Hoped, her hint turned green
From this hesitant orange
Ere I put out light,

But my luck was lean,
Her gesture looked out of range
To hit my mood’s height,

Stars are peeping in—
An alibi all so strange,
You picture my plight

When her nod turned red
From hopeful in-between shade
On that...
