Best Geniality Poems
Our path, sometimes grows arduous with bends and twists.
Trials of life keep tormenting us and others.
It's miserable to watch or endure such suffering.
But despite all heartache, we feel we are not done.
When I see the swamp bird with broken wings
Struggling to rise from the water’s edge.
When I see the deer, running away from its predator,
With all its might, I am filled with a zest to fight all odds.
In my doubt, such scenes fill me with reassurance,
Making me feel the rush of blood in my veins.
Today is the only day, a minutia of life,
To get all wrongs right, to seize all opportunity.
Adversities can hang heavy on us, pulling us down.
But muster courage and catch the bull by its horn.
Winds may blow, tempests may rise,
But don’t relent, persevere, and endure.
Never allow your fears parade victoriously
Through the spectrum of your dreams
When you feel life as bland and monochrome
Think of the colors of the rainbow arching in heaven
To make life sweet, recall all the sweet moments,
Those that you want to re-live again
Sure, there are a million of them, joyous and sweet,
Exciting, and engaging, pouring balm on our scars.
Let us freeze those moments in time!
Too precious to go off our heart.
They make life worth living, worth cherishing,
Giving each fresh morning a kick start.
Have you forgotten to laugh over a prank?
Have you stopped watching a lovely scene?
Have you evaded a gregarious company?
Have you failed to enjoy a savory cuisine?
Break free of all the ropes that bind!
Let loose the spirit within and let it fly high.
Shed out your dry reticence n’ reserve!
Let your geniality, many hearts win!
What Goes Up, Must Come Down

~Different beliefs can be a blessing~
He was born on a chilly Saturday afternoon, sweet boy with lots of love,
we all knew he'd be very special because he had come from up above.
Tiny toes and a wrinkly face, such a sight for sore eyes to see,
what a blessing it is that God chose Joseph Thomas to be a part of me.
From a toddler to a teenager, soon in college after those days,
Joey married Layla his childhood crush, in love in a special way.
Soon I had grandchildren and how joyful my life became,
we weathered so many storms, but our family overcame.
On my last birthday I turned a tender young age of seventy,
sad news followed and we learned that nothing is a guarantee.
My Joey had been battling lymphoma at only forty years old,
we all gathered around the priest, for nothing could be controlled.
I stood there numb watching my son take his last short breath,
it seemed not too long ago I held him on my breast.
He grew great wings and flew above straight into the light,
I knew I would see him again, what a sorrowful delight.
My youngest daughter Caroline was pregnant with her first,
a gentle baby boy who came out backwards and headfirst!
I had the honor to hold little Tommy for the very first time,
I saw those brown eyes and I knew he was special and sublime.
Can it be true? Does my faith believe this to be our reality?
Can a soul be reborn into another child, a blessing of geniality?
My faith had been renewed and my perceptions had been overflowing,
I know deep down inside, Tommy holds the spirit of my Joey.
I believe the death of my sweet boy transmigrated into my grandson,
an embodiment of his soul with in, two spiritual bodies becoming one.
So amazing that Joey's spirit has again become earth bound,
this is why I believe what goes up....must come back down...

The Atomic Café stays with me, over
even the most perfect of days.
I think about the arrogance of power
and how most people live in a daze.
I think on the geniality of the average citizen,
how willing, how trusting, how guileless they are.
The salt of the earth, reasonable men,
seen by their politicians as game that is fair.
Fair as in good pickings.
Fare as in someone who will pay.
Fair as in these are just the midlings.
Fair as in to assume they will do what we say.
I am sick to death of a society
that divides up into predator and prey.
One group seeking only comfort and security
and the other group seeks only power and display.
Who were these men of the Fifties,
that explained to us as if we were children,
that, yes, we could destroy whole cities,
but, yes, atomic power could also save men.
We bought their maps and graphs and cute cartoon
of jovial Mr. Atom and how he could help us,
while in hospitals these devious men of doom
experimented on innocents with plutonium inserts.
They explained at great length the threat from outside,
moved trusting men at will with just the sound of a siren,
sprayed cities with virus to see how it spread and subside.
gave acid to the unknowing to see how it affected the brain.
They demonstrated with a flourish the benefits of "our system"
and we in our search for comfort bought a new car and color TV.
They felt free in our bought silence not to mention Iran,
Guatemala, or black budgets we were not allowed to see.
All these are quite obvious some fifty years past.
Those guilty men at least thought it necessary to explain
their actions and are with us no longer. Their descendants at last
have clearly learned the game, our understanding of issues is lame.
The public, once bought, has no need for explanation, or outcome.
Constant fear is now the new game.
We all now mutter platitudes of gain and freedom,
and live our lives as if they both mean the same.
Oh! Those candles are gazing in tranquillity
This is the moment of true geniality
I was told by that charming sparkling light
Generosity of this ignited excited night
Gathering the magnitude of surpassing sincerity
Leading the surroundings to indulge in hospitality
Setting the mood to blissfulness and its kind
These glorious states of serene mind
Sweet music and the whispering voice
Motivating the wanderers of no choice
Once a dinky empty space
Today a fulfillment of grace
The lighted delighted folks spoke with vitality
Let us with passion fully embrace
The thought of absolute totality
Gleaming faces hand in hand
Marching towards the universality
A mighty team of genuine versatility
Candles gently rested with solace
At last! Their dreams became the reality
Is what I do really important in the grand scheme of things?
13 billion years, we get 80, what a sweet little fling...
knowledge is relative,
let me put it into perspective,
geocentrism used to be accepted fact,
man has to tell himself he understands, reality is simply a pact
christians, jews, and muslims, divided over variations of the same "god"
read about pantheism, monotheism just seems a little odd
I mean, to me, religion just seems backwards,
you accept what you're raised on and then learn the factors,
now, I could be wrong,
but would you buy a house or car and learn about it as you go along?
dont get me wrong, the scriptures have some good advice and genuine homilies,
but when you teach people what to think, not how to think, there's no autonomy,
some people think without religion there's no standard for morality,
do you really need a 3,000 year old book to know geniality?
man created religion to instill order, mitigate death, and give us "meaning",
so what if life is meaningless, it's liberating, quit your weaning,
we're all in search of structure and substance,
self educate and be your own compass,
look, i just think this generation could change the world like never before,
they say you'll fall for anything if you don't know what you stand for,
so, throw out what you know, i've got a new petition,
it's not going to be easy, it 'll take some cognition,
but really, are you not tired of submission?
forget right and wrong, this is a remission,
let's have some ambition and create new traditions
What are dreams? Are they a figment of one’s imagination?
are they a form of de'ja' vu created for my future’s fascination?
I wish to wonder and skip to far lands rainbows of iridescence,
but mirages built on moods could depress my inner essence.
Real or not real, they become a part of my consciousness,
illusions of past mistakes as I drowned in obnoxiousness.
I sat by our ol’ white oak tree down by grandma’s creek,
our log cabin was full of generations, but I couldn’t speak.
I had no words to say, only eyes to see my family,
except I was all alone for no one could even see me.
Invisible to the world while lost in hallucinations,
I held phantasm inside my desire to carry a conversation.
Touch…I could not touch…only lost in crowded room,
outside by the oak tree I knew I’d find my gloom.
Deep inside me I wanted to shout out to the world,
and there she came outside, that beautiful little girl.
She was in the corner scrunched down facing the wall,
it was my sister Karen, and I slowly watched her fall.
I tried to run fast to see if she needed help getting up,
but I couldn’t move a muscle and was scarily stuck.
I thought, “how can this happen, she needs my help!”
For I was not around last time she unexpectedly fell.
She wasn’t yet a woman but just a sweet young lady,
too young to see the truth but too old to be shaky.
Immobile and perplexed I tried with all my might,
finally I was released and could help her with her fright.
I held her head in my lap as she cried for over an hour,
I brought her in the house and gave her a warm shower.
I was so relieved and comforted that my voice returned,
oh, what a miracle I saved her with a deep lesson learned.
I woke up in tears, looked up at the ceiling while staring,
for she was truly gone, I couldn’t save my sister Karen.
Sometimes my dreams can bring me pleasant geniality,
other times I wish my dreams would become my reality.

It's Thanksgiving Day down in the States
Here's to all my many Yankee friends
Wish all you folks have a wonderful day
All my good wishes I do send
Florida was mostly my destination of choice
The Gulf Coast almost exclusively
Siesta Key is just a little south of Sarasota
Where the theme is semi-nudity
Those vacations are less common nowadays
Money's not flowing like it once did
However before the big man calls me upstairs
Wish to relive my days as a kid
Nostalgia I guess is what you would call it
Actually been there on your Black Friday
No offence but you guys are nutso
“Sorry, didn't mean that!” he said slyly!
Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving, I'll say it again
Enjoy this day with your families
There's nothing more loving and rewarding
Than to share a day of geniality
Here's to all my many Yankee friends!

First day at college,
Encounter with a girl,
Gazes are exchanged,
Heart pounds,
Clock ceases to move,
Nothing happened further,
Goes back home and ruminates with a hidden smile,
Love is so pure and beautiful,
Everything turns fresh,
Even dark passenger makes way for geniality,
Aloofness takes the back seat,
Sweet dreams are aplenty,
Everything was near perfect until,
Mother exclaims, Wake up! It is 6 o'clock.
Eddy lives in the gullibility and cohesibility of a gritty city
Between assimilability civility reality and triviality
Here Eddy’s senility is merely an eligible technicality
A wink of eccentricity fragility debility futility impossibility risibility
Still under that mighty illusion of invincibility virility and viability
Invisibility’s equivalent to gentility favouring stability and incredulity
Eyes void of deceptibility infallibility predictability divisibility
Eddy is still irresistibly witty with intelligibility bordering geniality
The indelibility of his ability versus disability for agility and flexibility
Gives Eddy eligibility admissibility accessibility feasibility visibility and divisibility
Implicit credibility whimsicality spirituality frivolity and squeezability
Eddy believes there’s no margin for self-pity when you own a pretty itty bitty kitty

Benevolence was sought and was found with delight,
amiability with kindness brings me to my gentle knees.
With each stroke of good will my sadness does cease
and in the wretched darkness altruism brings light.
Selfishness with mercy always bring me pure ease,
a warm heart cannot be cold when given out of care.
I seek only clemency when life’s problems are not fair
and the ability to see the pain no one else ever sees.
One may be silent yet speaks volumes in his affection,
for there is nothing as rare as a special connection.
I show gratitude for him bestowing such geniality
and in return I give to him a heart of tender affability.
Qualities You Admire in Friends
June 21, 2018
I’ll sing you dream songs
that last as long as the hills
but know this my love
it’s fullness IS
the striving of our wills
Against the darkness
that has crept stealthily
into the hearts of man
I cannot describe
this latent longing
to rest mine eyes
upon the faces of my joy
to stay there reticent
upon the turn of your gaze
Soft sentience gathers
like a cloak of gauze
to be not disaffected by
the backs of those who consume
the refuse of worthlessness
and despise excellencies
but prefer the violations of every
virtue , whose villainy
is unconcealed on any level
considered the character
OF MAN
Salacious , drooling compounded
with the Sophistry of sophistication
Supercilious in their vanities
as rottenness to a tree
Nay , but here I seek
a palate for the delicacy
yielding tender fruit
so desirable as it’s fleeting
from a world gone course
that swallows any thoughts
of pursuing a nature
whose potency can be clearly seen
I defy your erosions
corrosion of thought and deeds
whose love is less than
rutting animals
I decry your mogul media
your grand theatrics
I have divorced you
to pursue a finer thought
I’ll pass you on the street
you will have my hello
but don’t expect to drag me
to your peers whose
consciousness is gone
even in the daytime
I will , my time
with the quality , geniality
of thoughts vibrant
of the orchestral heights
and cast your lows
into some other state

Show a gesture of warmth to all you meet
Offer each one the least- a pleasing smile!
A kind gesture can give others a new start
Geniality generates joy, creating a comfy feel
Offer each one the least- a pleasing smile
Many wallow in gnawing despair
Geniality generates joy, creating a comfy feel
Mend their hearts which need urgent repair
Many wallow in gnawing despair
Lend your ears to what they have to say
Mend their hearts which need urgent repair
When you listen, their frustration you allay
Lend your ears to what they have to say
Having no one to listen is the greatest bane
When you listen, their frustration you allay
By patiently listening, their anxieties, you slain
Having no one to listen is the greatest bane
A kind gesture can give others a new start

Beyond mortal beauty and radiance
Ethereal magnificence and elegance,
Awed by finesse, poise and grace
Uniquely refined with angelic face
To enchant me with her sensuality
Ingenuity, tenderness and geniality
Flair to blend romance and musicality—
Unabashed, LOVE came into my dreary life
Laden until now with sorrow and strife.

“You are not the body
You do not have a body
You neither do nor enjoy
You are Awareness only--the timeless Witness
You are free
Go in happiness”
15.5
“Attachment and aversion
are attributes of the mind
You are not the mind
You are Consciousness itself--
changeless, undivided, free
Go in happiness”
~~~~~~~~~~~
The verse is simple but its import deep
We read it again until its message does seep
Signalling that we surrender all we think we know
And begin experiencing life afresh in stillness slow
Not only this but who is the experiencer
If we be a witness then who is the doer
If we be not the body then we are also not the mind
We are not the identity going through the grind
Provisionally considering this hypothesis as a possibility
We try to find a way to determine its authenticity
The method is easy if we choose by simply rotating polarity
Of the mind body construct in easy geniality
Strange as though it may sound the truth is confirmed
In deep meditation the formlessness of our awareness is discerned
We are as one with the Universe in the boundless ocean of oneness
Although when back to duality we do feel separateness
Yes we are the witness as observing simply looking
At images upon earth wherein we too are breathing
In but not of the world we are at nonchalant ease
Allowing the Divine to unfold life as It does please
We are as such unfettered & free flowing
Unclingingly embracing-imbibing-releasing
Along with this orientation comes a continuum of bliss
We feel aligned and centred within with nothing amiss
Momentum of our past may yet bring about some oscillation
We witness that too in undiminished elation
We are indeed both happy as well as free
With childlike exuberance going about in glee
In continuity
