"Here is my secret. It is very simple: one sees clearly only with the heart.
Anything essential is invisible to the eyes."

"Le Petite Prince"
Antoine De St. Exupery

touch me and
i'll touch you
we don't do this on a whim
measure twice cut once
but always from the heart

some use words rarely used in conversation
let these wonderful poets tickle that market's fancy

there are those
knit you a scarf from yarns of clouds
warm your day with a smile reflects
the clean heat of a nineteen nineteen sun

others who write you a poem you can share with a child
visions painted in words

cups of hot chocolate with those teeny weeny marshmallows
children's grandiose proclamations of love with every sip
for them the ambrosia of Gods confirmed by their laughter of joy
you see hopscotch squares loosely drawn in chalk
you see your daughter hear an echo for the first time
some poetry does that conjures a thousand pictures of pure innocence

also poetry that sings
with rhymes that are natural,
neatly placed in the story being told

or

sometimes the kind
occasionally trips on the page
love doesn't demand conditions

sonnets neatly metered
roll off the tongue

or

even if it twists a bit leaves you with a knot
stick it out and laugh it straight easy as that

we're here for each other
people before words
let's love each other just because we can

touch me and
i'll touch you
we don't do this on a whim
measure twice cut once
but always from the heart

Premium Member Ask From the Heart

Jesus sees you on your knees,
ask Him, and He'll grant your pleas.
And send angels to your side
to dry the tears you've cried.

If you believe as you say
help will somehow come your way.
For if you ask, you'll receive,
He answers all who believe.

Jesus will not let you down,
every lost soul will get found.
And He'll heal your broken heart,
giving hope to a new start.

Jesus wept, consumed by grief,
testing His strength of belief.
But no greater love's been seen
than held by this Nazarene.

Ask the Father through the Son,
believe, and it will get done.
So, join your hands in prayer
and ask for His Devine care.

FLUTTER FROM THE HEART

Fireflies flash from your laughing eyes,
Butterflies burst from your smiling lips.
So sweetly you vibrate with life so whole,
I must confess girl:
You shake my soul!

I ponder marks cut into cliffs
or drawn in caves within the earth
and wonder if I have the gift
to leave a mark of equal worth.

As jet planes streak across the sky,
I think of modern man's advance;
will my profile engraved in stone
say only, "She excelled in dance?"

With silver trophies on my wall
and music thumping in my brain,
I long to weave a warm refrain
one worthy of someone’s recall.

Will sweet notes fall on future ears,
spit from my heart onto the page
and brand me as the wise old sage
whose written words a world reveres?

I read yarns penned by bards of old
and learn of fame poets begat.
Within my breast a yearning burns,
a wish that I could write like that.

That Night Iii: Writings From the Heart

A dream, in incubus it came to me
Like ink on paper it showed so bright
Contrasting life and death, day and night
Brought with the last tear shed
Screaming those bloody words
"It won't work, you'll get hurt again"
The fragile clishe i broke again
Painting my nails black with bruises
To prove that it's all for hope and love
But once again I beat the system
To be whole once more I let her in
Melting in the eyes of beauty and sin
Quivering with every move she made
And living one breath at a time
To anxiouosly await the next meet
Of our eyes and hands for moments coming

Writing From the Heart

I wrote this poem upon my lovers face,

So she would know that my love could never be erased,

I wrote this poem upon my lover's neck,

So she'd know,

Its her mind and soul I love,

Her thoughts and ideas I respect.

I wrote this poem upon my lover's breast,

To be sure that I had a place to sleep

after my night of conquest.

I continued pass her ribs down to her belly,

And with careful attention

And the best penmanship

To seal thy love

I wrote upon her hips.

From her hips down to her thighs,

I wrote the many special things

So she would never have to ask why,

From where does my love spring,

I wrote this poem upon my lover's spine.

To unveil the riches and treasures she'd once twined.

I wrote this poem upon my lover's arms,

To remind her I'll hold her and protect her from harm.

I wrote this poem upon my lover's inner thighs.

So I could recite this, after traveling her

 sky.

In this age of tattoos, I broke the rules,

Like a child with a pen....

Stands on couch and stool,

I wrote all over the walls of her heart,

While substance and meaning seeped in.

Her skin sustained the ink like ancient hieroglyphics.

I wrote this poem upon my lover's back,

My eyes, witness to these erotic facts.

With lover's ink, across her smooth skin,

I wrote of the honey dripping from her pours,

Of how the ink that runneth,

And love that cometh blends.

I wrote upon my lover, with perminate ink,

from head to toe,

Heavan knows I had more to say,

But I wrote as far as the ink persisted to flow.

Love From the Heart

A smiling face I hope to see
As I awaken to feel you holding me
The look in your eyes is a look I’ve not seen
I look deep to find out what your feelings mean
Mystery surrounds the thoughts you hide
But I am thankful you are by my side
You say some things are better left unsaid
We can share our feelings with touches instead
I feel the warmth of your body pressed against mine
The tingling sensations as you run your fingers down my spine
The sweet taste of you on my lips after I kiss you gently
The thrusts of your body as you make love to me intensely
So many wonderful qualities you possess
You say so much with your tenderness
Happiness is staring you right in the face
It’s up to you to put that happiness in the right place
I tell you that I love you and I hold you close
There’s no need for doubt, your heart already knows
You’re careful about sharing those feelings that show you care
But when it comes down to it, I know those feelings are there
You’re always careful trying not to let down your guard
Slowly you are unlocking the door to your heart
I try to show you in many ways
How much I love you from day to day
Most of all, I do what feels natural to do
I just want to make you happy and continue to love you
I’ve longed for the day that I’d be lucky enough to hear
Those three little words that would take away some of my fear
I feel love in the warmth of your gentle touch
But hearing those words really means so much
For now I will treasure each day we’re together
I feel as though our love will last forever
Friends and lovers and what we share is real
Please don’t hold back, show me how you feel
I never thought I’d meet someone like you
Everything about you makes me feel so good
In my heart the love is overflowing
What the future holds, we have no way of knowing
As long as I have you in my life
How can any day be less than bright?
You are my day and you are my night
I’ll love you today and every tomorrow
I look forward to every day that we borrow
Each day that we spend together
Are days that I will remember forever?
The times that we have to spend apart
Bring a little sadness to my heart
Everything about you makes it easy to see
YOU are the one that completes me
I knew it from the start
This is love from the heart

Soothing Word Spoken From the Heart

"Soothing Words Spoken from the Heart"
by Liberty Justice

YOU GOT TO FIND PEACE OF MIND.

YOU should take control of your life!
Don't let your life take control of you.
YOU don't have to go through the toil and strife.
Make yourself happy--It's your life.

You've got to get out and find happiness; peace of mind will do.
Happiness certainly won't always come looking for you.
So, pick up the pieces of your life, and put them back together.
You've got what it takes, so use it to make life better.

Yes, when life's many problems seem to get you down,
And you walk around with your head full of frowns,
Go for it; you've got to, have to, get away.
Or, your nerves will break down from all the pressures of the day.

Life is for the living and living must go on.
Life is full of giving, but the taking must be done.
Don't live in the past where sadness cries;
But, look for the future where happiness lies!

Free your soul; clear your mind.
Go somewhere, be by yourself and unwind.
Enjoy nature. Lie down on green, velvety grass beside a tree.
Close your eyes; listen to birds singing sweet melody.

Rap From the Heart

you can't make your heart beat something it won't

it's either heaven or hell now I got a good story to tell

rap your rap well from the heart

this will light the inner spark to what I'm waiting for

someday's it maybe a chore

don't listen to critics cause most will bring you down

I mean they mean well if it's in the positive mode

positive reinforcement is good for the heart

rap as you dream of better days

never getting lost in a purple haze

look to the old school masters of the past

with hearts an opened door beating fast

be who you are on the inside

don't try to hide behind four walls that squeal

others may address this as being no big deal

yet there's only one life will soon be passed

only what's done out of love will last

people need to be more opened minded but their blinded

by Satan the god of this world

they twist your words to fit their fancy

gone are the days when Sid met Nancy

let the heavenly light be your guide instead we hide

shattered glass on the basement floor lest I implore

seek truth with all of your heart

then you will light the inner spark to what your waiting for

get in the zone watch a lot of Home Alone

busy as a bee rapping the rhyme as a blown up mystery

something up your sleeve people bleed

does death hurt you the most or is it fear

I shed a single tear to help numb its inner pain

still no one question anymore

no one has a voice were just the blind leading the blind

soon will fall into a great ditch feverish pitch

I'm only human after all

sin has been evident after the fall

then onto the no it all

rap to your hearts content & have a ball

Words From the Heart

Words From The Heart

When I fell in love my heart was on fire
To be with you was my one desire
And if you love me I’ll give you everything you need
A lifetime of promises and a world full of dreams
For only my heart knows what it means
And I promise you it won’t be wrong
One love, two hearts we will make it strong,
But now my love is lost in your sweet kiss
Honey when I’m alone you’re the one I miss
And your sweet, tender love it hard to resist
Darling it's true my heart has fallen in love with you
Looking upon the stars tonight wishing with all my might
Hoping someday you will realize this passion I hold inside
Honey it doesn’t cost a dime.
And if you give in your love could be mine
I feel truly blessed for this feeling the Lord has given me
Accompany by faith and much understanding
And I know this gift will guide me for all eternity
As my heart fly by with angel wings
And the clouds form into wedding rings
A woman in love the angels sing
On and on a soft melody
That’s how it feels to be in love like me.
For thoughts from the heart are never ending
