Premium Member Fragrant Freshness

Spring adds a fragrant freshness to the air:
earthy aromas waft beneath the snow;
as sunlight melts away Winter's despair.

Daffodils contribute color and flair;
and as balmy breezes bashfully blow,
Spring adds a fragrant freshness to the air.

Snowdrifts dwindle to patches barely there;
and frozen rivers, once more start to flow,
as sunlight melts away Winter's despair.

Wildflowers start sprouting up everywhere
and as daffodils, and crocuses grow,
Spring adds a fragrant freshness to the air.

The land no longer looks so bleak and bare:
on naked trees, green buds begin to show,
as sunlight melts away Winter's despair.

A treat to the senses, scented and rare:
bell-shaped lily-of-the-valley, hang low.
Spring adds a fragrant freshness to the air
as sunlight melts away Winter's despair.

The smell of fresh rain
Is blowing through your hair and
Wrapping around me.

Freshness, Happiness and Truthfulness

Oh, lofty love if for you I could smile again
I’d never on you inflict further pain
Nor your love trap in my miserable chain

If only you could grant me upfront
A second chance to confront the affront
I pinned on your sensitivity at the waterfront

Where you and I first met
You wearing the love helmet
That made my resistance plummet

As I gazed at you lost for words
Until you surrendered passwords
That grew into affection catchwords

Graduating our puppy love into substance
Until forces of circumstance
Tore you from me in an instance

Where a rush of mad blood to my head
Made me wink at a redhead
Plunging you and I at loggerhead

Turning my world blue
Losing the love glue
That left me without a clue

On where I could obtain forgiveness
For the obtrusiveness and impulsiveness
Inherent in the unattractiveness

My gauche action brought in the wake
Of the mistake
Made fully awake

But sleepwalking
As I knew you lay quaking
Breaking at the thought of my shaking

The foundation of the love we built
Not in a word or a quilt
Not in loam, sand, wit or silt

I beg you to take me back
Cos you and I can pack
Again more love in our stack

Where I pledge to play fair
To lavish on you more care
As I dare say I’d no longer stare

At anyone but you
Each day, each night to love you anew
To prepare for you and share a new love stew

Filled with freshness
Genuineness
Truthfulness and happiness.

The Freshness of the Dawn

...." The Freshness Of The Dawn " ...

Remember when your in pain ,
The beauty of every drop of rain ,
Or the sight of every day break ,
A glorious sight when you awake ,

The sun has started to rise ,
As a reddish orange glow fills the sky ,
There's a lovely quiet all around.
And fresh dew shimmering on the ground .

You know the day is fresh and new,
Feel the stillness is there just for you
Breath in the freshness of the morn
As mother nature gives you a new dawn

Welcomeing you with open arms.
Showing you all of her precious charms .
Making you feel born again ,
Even in the light drizzly rain ,

A tranquil quietness like no other
Like the bond between a child and their mother ,
When everything brings a smile to your face ,
And your proud to be part of the human race ....

Freshness Shows At Dawn

                                     at night it respires

                                 freshness shows at dawn

                                  evening hue says with
good bye for the time being

Premium Member Autumn So Refreshing

Autumn recites poetry to the manless meadow,
Morning dew glistens and the sun is mellow.
I enjoy a cool walk in morning's freshness,
Yet memories of lost summer linger precious.

Beside tall trees the grass is turning brown,
Birds sing as colored leaves are coming down.
I see a scarecrow, in the breeze fluttering,
And the faded dying blooms without numbering!

Autumn's here and will be with us for awhile,
I see bales of hay stacked in orderly piles,
Geese are growing restless, ready for flight,
In search of another summer and other sights.

Libby Was Christened

Cicada shell needed discarding, fast
Desperately ready for what she will become
Stepping rapidly out of her pitchy past
Towards freshness, her chance to succumb

Wavered mirage solidified as suitable man
Opportunity usually slashed with cruelty
Sigrid's vehemence needed a complete ban
Skin uncovered to reveal her new duality

Kind intentions filled fault lines, offered aquit
Approaching face to face day stirred her
Softer side on show, finally primed to submit
Pleas to release rancid shield heard her

New page turning requires vibrant virgin title
Her odd request, capable Ace conjured
Renewed endurance from Libby arises vital
Crowned with liberation, love pondered

Dazzling effect flung her mortality's motions
Scope to partake in romance unafraid
Libby's demeanor walks as waterfall, potion
Christens her effusive decision made

Premium Member Fresh Night

while full blooms quiver
cool waves are pounding the rocks
stars are in her eyes

backwards and forwards
the wind wanders everywhere
bringing far off scents

small splashy puddles
remnants of a rainy noon
moisture in the air

then he smiles at her and winks
a spring flirtation

The Freshness of Snow

The freshness of snow,
Where ever you go.

The snowflakes fall down,
All around on the ground.

Spruces everywhere,
Beautiful in their appearance.

The picture postcard of winter is here,
Memories of friends very dear.

The skiers like skiing the mountain,
At the base there is a beautiful fountain.

Ready for springtime pleasure,
Measure by measure.

I dream of becoming a great skier,
The Olympic heroes could guest.

The adventurous west,
Where you meet and fall in love.

The man and woman caress,
Continue to be their very best.

A chateau on the hill,
Happy ever after is God's will.

                                       Moonlight on Meadows

With shines of moonlight on meadows
Speckled with tiny drops of dews,
The soft, sweet, shining grasses glow
With full gleams of ivory hues
Fill the air with cute awareness
And invite one who truly wish
                                 To cherish its serene freshness
                               And sparkling splendour to relish.

In the shine of a full moon night
                                 Meandering amidst meadows,
                                 Sparkling with a silvery light,
                               Dispels inner woes and sorrows
Prompts one to scan the inner self
Gaze at the serene, silent stars
And to be at peace with oneself
                                As the meadows stretching afar.

The bright shines of moon on meadows
Shooting like arrows from a bow
                                In the neighbouring field below
Sketch a speck of shady shadow,
Seeming to make a humble wish
That the breeze carries to the moon
On its willowy wings with bliss
To pipe to its destiny soon.

                           On moonlight night amidst meadows
Shining with gleams of the full moon
The humble wish of the shadow
From the moon is to seek a boon
To ever light his path on earth
To guide him to the route that`s right
And when he shall heave his last breath
To lead him to realm ever bright.
