Moonlight on Meadows
With shines of moonlight on meadows
Speckled with tiny drops of dews,
The soft, sweet, shining grasses glow
With full gleams of ivory hues
Fill the air with cute awareness
And invite one who truly wish
To cherish its serene freshness
And sparkling splendour to relish.
In the shine of a full moon night
Meandering amidst meadows,
Sparkling with a silvery light,
Dispels inner woes and sorrows
Prompts one to scan the inner self
Gaze at the serene, silent stars
And to be at peace with oneself
As the meadows stretching afar.
The bright shines of moon on meadows
Shooting like arrows from a bow
In the neighbouring field below
Sketch a speck of shady shadow,
Seeming to make a humble wish
That the breeze carries to the moon
On its willowy wings with bliss
To pipe to its destiny soon.
On moonlight night amidst meadows
Shining with gleams of the full moon
The humble wish of the shadow
From the moon is to seek a boon
To ever light his path on earth
To guide him to the route that`s right
And when he shall heave his last breath
To lead him to realm ever bright.
