Premium Member Eulogy For God

Oh, Lord! Lest one is asleep,
the purge to kill you,yet again,
is quite deep.
Some, who read your word in
the Bible, re-create it, with myths
that are long and deep.

Or, they in arrogance and fervent
ignorance stomp, on your words
as but fairy tales.
They are turning the tables on you,
woking hard to make you a fable!

As in days of Hitler, we who believe,
are shot dead in Temples and churches!
(Then, they blame guns!)
We live in a society in great pain.
Of course, bullets in this society reign!

We are being attacked for any freedom
of speech of you, and are always
besmirched.
We are beaten and called names by lost
soul jerks.

We open businesses but those who hate
your children want all of them shut down.
Because the businesses won't support the
killing of babies.
They torture us wearing their popular~~
'freedom of choice' crowns.

Churches are objects of derision.
You, God, they wrongly surmise is the
source of any division!
Poets here, who write of you, are
mostly passed over as "boring."
Your creations are adored ad infinitum~
They drool, however over their dog,
Rover!

The seas, the birds, the splendor in all
the flowers.
Their poetry glories!
Of these they write and sing for endless
hours.

Of you? Bah, humbug!
Our serenity, our hopes no longer lies in you.
But in politics, poetry, news, movies, booze,
sex-aplenty, self-adoration and calming drugs.
Oh, Lord~ we are so lost!

Have Mercy on us all, I beg!

Joan of Arc, For God and Country

Joan of Arc – For God and Country

On the feast of the Three Kings was born,
a baby girl, in 1412, under the sign of Capricorn.
Destined to accomplish great deeds and achieve fame,
Joan d’Arc was her auspicious name.
A religious and political scapegoat,
her short life to God and country she did devote.
Fervently spurred by heavenly voices,
Joan’s fate was guided by singular choices.
She avidly believed in her mystical visions,
and was obsessed to fulfill her divine mission.

Each night she prayed, “Oh God, save France,”
until at last she was granted the perfect chance.
Leaving her family and the village of Domremy,
she pursued her destiny to defeat France’s enemy.
The “Maid of Orleans” with religious fervor and zeal
took a vow of chastity and her fate was solidly seal.
During the Hundred Years’ War, she took up sword and banner;
mounted on a white horse, arrayed in a white suit of armor.
Leading the French army to a momentous victory,
her rousing battle cry was, “For God and country.”

Abandoned by King Charles the VII and betrayed in the end,
she was burnt at the stake by French collaborators and English men.
Accusing her of witchcraft, heresy, and for dressing like a man,
at age 19, her life was all over according to their devious plan.
But even though her light was snuffed out by hatred and bigotry,
her exemplary courage and strength helped to unify her country.
Joan of Arc, a simple peasant girl, became a woman warrior,
and to the world a symbol of conviction, fortitude, and true valor.
Canonized a saint by Pope Benedict XV 500 years later,
Joan was named Patron Saint of France, rape victims, prisoners, and martyrs.

Quest For God

From the beginning, people have asked themselves,
how God came into being or how God creates from nothing?
The God seekers are advancing ethical axioms
and truth is withstanding the test of experience.
Human mind is made out for reason and truth.
Reason gives us freedom
and freedom makes a human being a moral subject.
The man is a moral being and justice is greater than love.
We don’t know, why protons in the core of atom
are attracted and not repelled
even though, they have the same electrical charge?
What decides that a cell becomes animal or a plant cell?
Every leaf has many cells and each is more complicated
than a human made rocket.
Why stars, Earth and other planets are weightless in space
and what force makes universe to expand?
Expanding universe is astounding.
Space is stretching and does not collapse.
Why Dolphins live in water for millions of years,
even though they do not have gills
and cannot breath oxygen from water?

Nature adapts and man forms himself.
Animals lack our understanding,
but we cannot compare to incorporeal beings
for they are much more advanced than we.
There is more to reality than just phenomenal.
Science interprets things in terms of our experience,
and consciousness is essential to knowledge.
Real world is self contained, independent,
derived from pure consciousness.
Man gets corrupted by the power he has,
but God is almighty and holy indeed.
"Woe to the shepherds who mislead and scatter
the flock of my pasture..."
The king cannot substitute for apostolic succession.
God revealed himself to mankind
and this encounter of God is our experience.
The wholeness of being demands eternity,
otherwise, the being is fractional.
Lord God dwells in unapproachable light
and can deify people and angels and make them Gods,
but only if they are holy first.

No Room For God

A most genius, scientific mind, whom I respect,
with chalkboards full of numbers and symbols;
such mathematical equations and theories
as to boggle the ordinary mind, spoke these words,
"No room for God."
I find that odd.

The same words spoken to Mary and Joseph.
The irony couldn't be stranger,
thus Jesus, born in a manger.

Everything so condensed to nothing, given birth with a bang.
How long was nothing, nothing; till it became everything?
Who knew or made a difference in the two?
What was the cause of this evident explosion?
The answer isn't odd.
It, my friend, was God.

He reveals himself through numbers and scientific discoveries.
From infinities our minds can't see,
and so small the number three.

He himself, father, son and holy spirit;
we being body, mind and soul.
And the great scientific discovery of atoms;
even those three parts well known.
So let us give a nod.
There is only room for God.

He is Alpha and Omega; the beginning and the end'
Jehova and The Great I Am,
Jesus, the precious Lamb.

Author's note:
What some call universal intelligence;
I call God.
I will not deny him.

Premium Member Impossible For God

McGee was in his garden
When he saw the sky alight
It forced him to his knees
Because it shown so boldly bright
He didn't dare to look
When he heard a lofty voice
Say, "That we've been looking all around,
And now we're made our choice,
Yes McGee It's you, we've found
You've been really good this year,
So, You get to make a wish
Now, make it short and clear

"Well, my Lord I would like
A bridge built cross the sea
So I could drive and see my son
And he could visit me"

“You see McGee, that would be
A monumental task
Impossible I would say
Find something else to ask”

“Ok, My Lord, there is one thing
That’s plagued me throughout me life
The lack of understanding
Of all women, says me wife
If you could give me wisdom
So that I could truly see
Why women think and do the things
That seems to bothered me”

A great pause filled the heavens
Then a voice came from the blue
“Did you want that bridge, McGee
With one lane, or with two?”

For God So Loved the World

'For God so loved the world He sent His Son'
To free us from the grip of sin's domain,
That full redemption for all time be won
And man may dwell at peace with God again.

From heaven's glory to a tainted earth
He came to seek and save all who were lost,
To manifest a life of higher worth
And pay the greatest sacrificial cost.

Oh that my heart might daily sing the praise,
Of He who cared enough to die for me
And may I strive to ever live my days
For Christ, who bore my sins on Calvary.

'For God so loved the world' so how can I
Live for my selfish goals and Christ deny?

Premium Member Are You Hungry For God

How Hungry for GOD Are You?

How hungry for GOD are you? Do you pray and read the
Word daily? Do you stay in an attitude of prayer throughout
the day? Do you stay in fellowship with other believers?
Do you support the work of the Kingdom?

Do you hunger and thirst to know more of HIM? Do you feel like
you just can’t go on any further till HE touches you afresh? Do you
cry out for the fire of GOD to come on you by HIS SPIRIT?

Do you look for HIM to send you to unsaved people so you
can tell them about JESUS and lead them in a prayer to HIM?

Do you pray for the youth of this country and ask the LORD to send
a tremendous revival to them? Can you hardly wait for another
service so you can worship HIM with other saints?

Do you sing and worship HIM around your home and as you are doing
your work, cleaning, washing, and cooking? Do you sing n the SPIRIT as
you are mowing the grass, changing the beds?

Do you and your husband go to the mall purposely looking for
people to tell about JESUS? Do you seek out young people to
pray for them if they will let you and when they do, are you
praying for HIS SPIRIT to saturate them and use them and
keep them?

Are you longing and crying out for JESUS to come for HIS church?
HE is you know! Do you look for opportunities to tell people about
JESUS whenever you check out in stores, restaurants? I tell the
clerks or checkers that JESUS loves them and that HE is coming
soon, sometimes the reaction is tears, some laugh, some love it,
some hate it but needless to say, they got the message.

Do you pray for our nation and leaders to be safe and to be
led by HIS SPIRIT? And also, are you still and tuning
your ear to hear HIS still small voice? When you came to HIM
did you jump into the river of revival with all of your clothes on?

Did you tell HIM, Whatever YOU hate, I will hate, whatever
YOU love, I will love! Did you determine you would give
HIM everything and will follow HIM wherever HE wants you
to go?

Did you determine to be like a good little pot of clay made
by the GREAT POTTER	and asked HIM to cover that little
pot with HIS SPIRIT and fill it up so HE could pour it out
on who so ever whenever or wherever HE chooses!
Oh, yah~~! Then, you are definitely hungry for our
GOD!

GOD bless,

For God so loved the whole wide world.
Every man, woman, boy and girl.
He gave his most precious gift to his
sons and daughters. To free them
all from Satan's controlling power.
He gave his only begotten Son. What
more could he possibly give?

For his human creations could not
everlasting perish. But inherit his
wonderful free gift of everlasting
life. Available for all who put
their faith and trust in his only
sacrificial son.

But even for a free gift to become
valid. It must first be accepted.
It becomes completely worthless.
When it is rejected. God is not
willing that any should perish.
But become heirs of everlasting
life.

For those who choose to go
their own way. And freely
choose to determine their very
own manifest destiny. His
free gift becomes rejected.
And therefore invalid.

People should not marvel
when they are told they
must become born again.
In order to inherit the
kingdom of God.

But for all of those who
believe in him shall never
perish but inherit his
free gift of everlasting life.

Love in Christ Jesus!

The Fear For God

We fear a three
Letter word...
GOD

A powerful king -
That even Heaven
Itself greets Him
By bowing down
In royal robes of
Pure white

As He walks among
Those who He Himself
Calls His angels of light
He gives them guidance
To go out into the world
Where the enemies traps
Await those who are unsaved

He sends his finest
Warriors to go and
Save those who
Has been mislead
By the enemies wicked
And evil ways of living

He then wraps them
In His love and show
Them the right way
Of how to live their
Lives...
Sinless

The unsaved
Become the saved
The weakened
Become the strong
And the lies...
The lies have been forgotten

The past has
Been written off
for the Lord Himself
Took the fall for their
Sins

The enemy is no
Match for this
King...
He too fears the
The one that
We call
GOD

Stand For God

Come and pray to HIM
Abide by HIS everything
To save both- life-death

Too Busy For God

I’m so busy with church… I don’t have much time…
But God forgives me…. So is this a crime?

I go each Sunday, and do “the church thing.”
I’m just too busy, to really do anything!

I’m there on time. I try not to be late.
I even give my ten percent
 into the offering plate!

I bring my Bible, and wear a suit and tie.
I sing the worship songs, shout and cry.

Do you need any help or prayer?
Please wait in line….
I’m busy right now! And don’t have the time!

I’ll direct you to the pastor to make
 an appointment…
Perhaps he’ll pray and give
you an anointment!

This is what I offer! And the best I can do!.
I just don’t have the time for people like you!

Maybe I’ll see you again. Maybe I won’t…
But giving my time for others? I simply don’t…

I’m trying to look good for my
 “Sunday appearance.”
Anything less, would be a “new experience.”

I hope you’ll forgive me for saying “excuse me.”
Maybe I’ll find another time
for you to be with me….

Questions For God

"Quesions for God"
CONTEST

There I was, missing her,
As she was lost somewhere in the snow,
The dead of winter encompassed her,
      -slowly passed into oblivian.

There are no words to convey,
These inert thoughts of her sadness,
For I called on God,
For I had never accepted...
     -the truth.

I had all these interruptions,
I fell into the fire so inquisitive,
And above my sights,
And below my perceptions,
I broke myself,
I seperated my thoughts,
Into pieces and parts with unkown beliefs.

As the inadequate temperature,
Raised questions in my mind,
Then I felt my God,
My haste has been incomplete...
        -until that moment.

I slept in the basement,
And awoke in the black atmosphere,
So many inquisitive questions,
"Why isn't she still alive?"

Thoughts and inquiry,
I softly whispered...

"Is there a way to explain,
Why she left me so alone?
For I can't live with out her,
I'm a reducing agent on the quinone.
Now my ability to breathe,
My emotions so suppressed,
Will I ever see her again?
I have addressed that I'm depressed.
Why can I not move anymore,
Why did she take her own life?
Why is suicide so alive lately?
Now I'm paying the price."

Suddenly I felt her purpose,
On this earth so apparent,
So I quietly meditated,
Eyes closed, heart refreshed,
And in that moment..
       -I understood this tragedy...

"Is it normal to feel at ease,
Underneath the shattered glass?
Has my confliction subsided?"

I'm allowing this catastrophe to surpass.

"What's the dealing in the healing?
And what's the warmth in the snow?
You've listened as I've expressed my grievance,
A delighted gift you have bestowed."

Higher power, how I trust you,
Thoughts and inquiry, I softly whispered,

"For now my restraints have been lifted,
And I understood her purpose,
To be the most beautiful woman,
But she ended up so mirthless."

Even though she gave up too soon,
And no matter the circumstance,
I feel from my guidance from my higher power,
And I imagined her as she danced.

"Where were you hiding?
My power greater than myself,"
As I thanked you soul revived,
"I'm grateful for my personal wealth."
