Poetic Justice

I look inside you
I step inside then
Well, well, look what I find here

Is this place Hell
Where my steps have led me
She calls me the Devil
Well that sounds just like him

Comteplations of direct hits
Night Marches regardless
If I’m the Archer or the target
Your still a part of
The weapons aimed in my direction

Shells, Shields, Force fields
Special Forces
Black opts, Black Hawks
Solid truths in soft words
Infrared, GPS, global positional satellites
Inferred here, I’m speaking from the third person

a glutton for punishment, a fly in the ointment
there are no flies on somebody
I’m Dynamic, I’m a driving force
I’m vigorous, full of energy, poetically spoken I got a purpose
Poetic Justice
Poet Destroyer
I tell you in Latin, I’m Acinonyx jubatus
Imma Cheetah
My words travel faster than a Leopard
I ain't no follower, I ain't no lemming
A Legend lends itself to something
Legitimately speaking

“To the system, I speak into the Universe
In the light years I splash and play in”

Waiter, There's a Fly In My Soup!!!

Fly in the ointment,
I've heard said,
Flies will use you for
food, when you're dead
But a fly in the soup?
Which one of you??
How'd you get in somehow?
What did you do?

These rhetorical questions,
do not require answer,
But one thing does, for sure....
Just how did a zipper get in
my chicken noodle?
This question I do implore

My lips are torn,
my faith in Campbell's shot,
this is one thing,
to predict, I had a chance not

Programmer's Love Defined

(Proving Once And For All Time That Love Is Not Binary)

Definition of Variables
X, PATH, JOHN, JOHNJOHN, MARSHA, MARSHAMARSHA, ALPHA, OMEGA

Initial Values
SET X=0, SET PATH = 1, SET JOHN = .5, JOHNJOHN = 1000,
MARSHA = .5, MARSHAMARSHA = 1000

Program Start:
LOVE101: LET ALPHA = JOHN + MARSHA
;John And Marsha Equals 1 means
;that the couple feels like they
   ;are united. However John’s and
   ;Marsha’s values range from 0-1
LET OMEGA= JOHNJOHN – MARSHAMARSHA
   ;John Without Marsha Equals 0
;means that the couple wants to
   ;stay together.
LOOP1: LET X= X+1
DOES ALPHA = 1, THEN CONTINUE, ELSE END
DOES OMEGA = O, THEN CONTINUE, ELSE END

FLIPFLOP: DOES PATH = 1, THEN CONTINUE, ELSE PATH2

PATH1: LET JOHN = FUNCTION (RANDOM NUMBER)
LET JOHNJOHN = FUNCTION (RANDOM NUMBER)
LET MARSHA = FUNCTION (MARSHA’S UNITARY CHOICE)*
LET MARSHAMARSHA = FUNCTION (MARSHAMARSHA’s NULL CHOICE)*
FLIPFLOP1: SET PATH = 2
GO TO CHECKTIME

PATH2: LET MARSHA = FUNCTION (RANDOM NUMBER)
LET MARSHAMARSHA = FUNCTION (RANDOM NUMBER)
LET JOHN = FUNCTION (JOHN’S UNITARY CHOICE)*
LET JOHNJOHN = FUNCTION (JOHNJOHN’S NULL CHOICE)*
FLIPFLOP2: SET PATH = 1

CHECKTIME: DOES X = INFINITY** THEN END, ELSE GO TO LOVE101
END: FULL STOP

Poet/Programmer’s Notes:

1. * If there is a fly in the ointment, (a bug in the program) this is it!
There is some humor in the setting of the initial values here too. Please note
that the initial values for both John and Marsha are less than zero, and yet
both JohnJohn and MarshaMarsha are batting 1000!?
** Also a no no is the fact that no computer can handle an infinite number (or a woman perhaps?)

The moral of this program/blank verse poem is….

KISS (AND OFTEN)

2. In other places I have suggested that a ‘model of reality’ presented in
Physics can be very much like a poem. I think that I have proven here that
a computer program can also be very poem like! : -)

For those not familiar with the acronym, KISS means 'Keep It Simple Stupid!'
This is not some veiled sexual reference! Heck, we are talking about 'Programmers' here!?

3. Is there anyone besides me who remembers a satire of soap opera melodramatics, “John & Marsha’’ that consisted of a man and a woman (both
voices performed by Stan Freberg in 1951) decalring their passion for each
other by repeating their names over and over while organ music played in the
background? Check it out if you can!

Moles

Brown spots dab my poor pale skin
Deeper and bigger than freckles
I'd play dot to dot, if I knew where to begin
If I were a hen; I'd be speckled

Gardeners' distress and indignation
As head holes can cause mayhem
Though hills appear, without invitation
Let's not make mountains out of them

A chink in the armour as word gets out
From a very special sleeper
A fly in the ointment, a spy with clout
But if he's on your side, he's a keeper

Frog

Walking yourself
into the woods
Trees on either side
The scent of primroses
upon the ground
In the crisp cool air
my summer breeze

You sat yourself
upon a golden fleece
In the centre
A rose for you
Tossing my heart
in the air
I give you
my everything

Including my soul
I fall into the pond
My heart cries
I became the frog

Forever I remain here
Waiting love to arrive
I do not crave
fancy diamonds
Or fancy anything
for that matter
I just want love

My fly in the ointment
To heal my wounds
Open the door
my heaven
I will give you everything
Your heart desires

Open the door love
A beautiful fountain
I bathe near
Most beautiful
in my eyes
That I have ever seen

Maybe fairytales
a dream
My heart bursts its desire
In my kingdom
This must surely
be heaven
To kiss the frog
My fairytale begins

Fly In the Ointment

There's a fly in the ointment...
This one is a ripper!
'Cause that darn fly,
Has got me caught up in his zipper...

one and the same

Gods Rubik cube, twisted and turned
All combinations tried and failed
The wrong jigsaw piece that fits in no gap
The red number on a roulette wheel of black
The joke no one gets in embarrassed silence
The fly in the ointment,
The pea in your beans
Inside myself i don't talk but i scream
The words that change what we know
The clown of reality
The king of no land, the god with no soul
The man who is destined to turn into sand.
With all of you we walk hand in hand.
