Ash On the Floor

A plastic smile
He waves hello
To all his friends
He'll never know

Beneath his skin
There lives the sin
Protected by
The hurt within

A silent wish
A crazy thought
How does one kill
A mind distraught?

An answer looms
As dead as leaves
It covers life
In gasoline

A matchstick lit
An open sore
A fire burns
Consumes the core

The pain is gone
Forevermore
When all that's left
Ash on the floor

Premium Member Humbly Kneel On Your Floor

Dear Lord

I come knocking at your unlocked door
bend my knees, humbly kneel on your floor
mercy for time spent on earth I ask
for the sins and still unfinished task.

You have blessed me with nature's beauty,
youth, family , and blissful duty
and I wouldn't change any Your blessings
just wish I would had heed your callings.

Premium Member Dappled Rainbow Hues Upon the Floor

"Family love, hugs, smiles, laughter and acceptance of togetherness within a home, precious moments made. Quote_by Poet"

The sunlight streams though the stain glass window
dappled rainbow hues upon the floor, dust
specks dance on beams of light in the shadow.
A tipped deep breath blown; then fades in trust.
Children run down the stairs ever robust
songs of merry and dance full of games play.
Hide 'n' seek, gay dog and cat chase all day.
After dinner family play charades.
Stepping' up, rock 'n' roll, afterwards pray.
Somber dappled gray shades as daylight fades.

Meeting On the Dance Floor

Music playing in her head
As she saw him glide to her side of the room
She gave him a warm smile
And a "Hi, how you doing?" hug
He looked her in the eyes
And with a flirtious smile
Asked her dance
She politiely turned him down
But she insisted instead
She told him she had two left feet
He said that's fine, just follow me
So they glided across the dance floor,
Him leading the way
She whispered in his ear
How about a date
She slipped him her number
And said call right away
And this was the beginning of a beautiful friendship
That turned into a relationship
That lasted forever til this very day

Premium Member Bare Floor

You see no parcels 'neath my Christmas tree,
no shiny paper, bows on ribbons bright,
take not this sight to mean that there won't be
presents bestowed upon this Christmas night.
For God has left me gifts you cannot see,
compassion, mercy, kindness, friendship true,
a generous heart, support and sympathy
and guidance in whatever I may do.
What love is this that covers my bare floor,
is my unworthiness rewarded thus?
These gifts are all I need, and nothing more
freely available to all of us.
Each year, each day they come, and without end,
these gifts from God delivered by my friends.

Premium Member The Deep Ocean Floor

Beginning with the gift of my first breath
On an island by the sea
Mother Ocean’s been a constant friend
And companion next to me.

From sandy beaches I once strode, searching
For shells washed up on shore;
From down in the depths where creatures crept
And I listened to the roar.

Of foamy waves that splashed and bathed
My sun-tanned skin and bones -
Washing away those youthful days
Near the refuge I called home.

Before following winds that captured me then
Like a pirate in search of new treasure -
Beyond the horizon where the sun sets and rises
Uncharted, untethered, unmeasured.

Miles beyond miles and years beyond years
Mother Ocean’s been my only domain –
On ships that sailed and in times I failed
She’s always known my name.

From St. Croix to the South Pacific,
Martinique to the River Nile –
She’s been there when no one else cared
Turning rivers of tears into smiles.

She’s been around throughout all that I found,
Love, hate and ruins of old –
Ancient remains of cites and graves
Of names and faces unknown.

Except to the Maker, the Giver, the Taker
Of all from stardust to dreams –
Including this ocean and Her magical potion
From now ‘till the end of all things.

While now here I rest where white waves crest
Caressing my mind once more –
Listening to Her breeze whispering to me:
“Come down to my deep ocean floor.”

Passion Sex On the Floor

we got it on
mabe it was wrong
it was at the fire place
sitting face to face
than we kiss nuthin we miss
we started to do more
as we begin to go
we had
PASSION SEX ON THE FLOOR

Rainforest Floor

From the sky it falls
As do many others
Where will it land?
Only calculated formulas can tell

As it is suspended
And hurled down
It is confined and alone
Not bound to another

Some will land in an ocean
Others lakes, ponds, creeks, puddles
Even into earth beneath the trees
Left to find another source similar

A journey short for some
And tedious and suffocating for others
To be hurled into acceptance
Or to travel until it is found

When we splatter from above
And bind with another
What will you wish fo
An ocean of options
Or a rainforest floor

Passion Sex On the Floor

it was at my place
we sit face to face
hug and muggs
warp in arms
it was romance charms
should seen up go
we roll on the door
IT WAS
PASSION SEX ON THE FLOOR

Premium Member The Veranda Floor

Once I sat on our veranda with my sister, sweet Miranda
And the forbidden goodies we had purchased at the store.
While I nibble, neatly snapping, suddenly there comes a flapping
Of an apron at the door. My dear mother is once more
Catching us in our misdoing while her favor we are losing
Standing at veranda door.

Frowning, pointing at the floor at the shells we had been dropping,
Cracking peanuts without stopping, we had purchased at the store.
"Pick them up," our mother uttered. ""You are lucky they're not buttered.
They would be forever more staining my veranda floor.
We could see she was revolted so my sister and I bolted
To our mama at the door.

Neither of us dared to amble, bump each other as we scramble
To pick up the shells from off the floor, for our mom who we adore.
Vowing not to buy them anymore, unshelled peanuts from the store.
Ready to be reprimanded, though we've done what she commanded,
We stand still to be admonished, knowing well we should be punished
For the shells upon the floor.

Befor I Hit the Floor

If two was to many then i'll have tweenty six.
Trade ya a bad habbit for a rusty knife and your sisters nude pics.
Maybe im insane do you really care to find out.
Order in the court yes your honor I'll have a stout.

So many warnings Mr Gonzo how could you ignore?
I make being wreckless a fashion statement.
Now excuse me befor i hit the floor.

A few bar fights yet still im standing.
When i come through that door sweetheart .
Apon this floor theres no telling where im landing.

Just door me one in old boozer's dish.
If only this world would stop spinning well i can at least wish.

Its hard to let go of the ground when you fear of falling into the
sky.
A pervert ,Drunk,Womanizer,Demented nutcase.
Other than that im a swell guy.

Insanity is many things but never a bore.
I say cheers to bad habbits and loose women.
It's always a blast befor i hit the floor.

Passion Sex On the Floor

PASSION SEX ON THE FLOOR

Floor Lips

On the floor lips,

Lipstick brooms!

A Spider Will Crawl On the Floor

A spider will crawl on the floor

And often will stop at a door;

I think that he's waiting

And maybe debating

On whether he wants something more.

Premium Member Valley Floor

Wild flower blossoms paint the valley floor
Resembling quilted tapestry
Silent water sits in stagnant ponds
Bull rushes gather standing like guards
Surrounding the waters edge
A lone loon calls a haunting melody
Bullfrogs croak while crickets noisily chirp
The pond becomes a gathering place
Crows join in squawking harmony
Clinging to bended willow trees
Coyotes join in with lowly howls
A peaceful valley becomes a musical fanfare.
