THE SNOW FLAKE
What happens to angels tears, as they fall from the
Heaven above, into diamonds of ice so are they
Transformed, turning, spinning in the atmosphere.
Until unique unto themselves, white pieces of
Frozen lace, perfections icy miracle, descending
From the blue hewed skies of Nirvana.
Covering the last leaf of fall, one by one
The power flakes glisten beneath the October sunshine.
Crystal shells of ice, freeze into water cylinders,
Forming sickles of decorations, that hang from
Every house and tree.
It is truly a winder wonderland, so beautiful
That the angels themselves come to behold,
What their teardrops have made, as a single
Feather falls from wings of grace, it to turns
To ice, and is blanketed beneath the freshly fallen snow.

Snow Flake And Leaf Adventure - Haiku
Snow flake lands on leaf
Both fall to river raging
Spin past rocks, dizzy
Grey skies make me smile
Autumn's chill embraces me
Winter's on the way
Now I feel alive
Heat and humidity gone
Summer's oppression
Trees disrobe for sleep
Pray, winter bring your snow
To blanket the earth
White ice lit darkness
Slight crunch of snow under foot
Quiet falling flakes
Swirling wind echos
Calling souls to festival
Join in blissful dance
a tender flake
his mind melting fast
do you think he's half baked

Snow Flake And Mountain
A snow flake came down, in turns, in twists, in blizzard company
Never lands, captured in an updraft, lifts up with other plans
A mountain positioned for a collision with the flake
Seemed tall enough to follow the movement of the thing
Aging in good time, conversant in snow and what it takes
Also knowledgeable in smaller matters, practicing due diligence
Waited, as mountains are apt to do, in these conditions
To receive the snow form with all its molecules
Take it to a final resting place along the lower face
Crystal flake continued though, on a sojourn to the sun
Still clinging to the upward draft
Not knowing what the sun might do to it
The snow floated, transforming into water
It drew closer to the warmth, to the point of vapor
But in a miracle of ice and cold, it fell or floated down
It drifted back to earth and hugged the mountain
Thanked it for a friendly wind and place to get some shade
Snow flake gathered whiteness on this little break
Came back to proper form
From the crystal core
And went on floating ever down for ever more
It would never reach the bottom
The mountain saw to that
It kept the snow flake by its side above the tundra line
Near a full grown pine tree whistling through the needles
Singing sweet lullabies of winter and storms gone by
Snow crystal glides in cozy circles about the pine
Haiku
A snow crystal fell
Ten thousand flakes followed
A snowball hurled
It was unusually cold about this time of year
30 degrees in the late summer beaches
Snow was falling
Angels of white were doing the tango on the sea waves
Whilst I danced on a fluffy little snow flake
Being of Age but not feeling bitter or utter rage
I wanted to compete with the temperature's below normal feet
Margot and I did the waltz until 5
The music in our minds was playing THE BEE GEES' STAYIN ALIVE
Cold hands
warm melody
Lawrence Welk is watching us from the amphitheater on high
Boogie down with this jive flake that I have found
We should be swimming
But I will take the winter dancing on until..
One snow flake at a time builds Christmas
Spiriting colored lights electric in the air
Through white swirling waves of mist on Winter
Remember ice cold pine trees bold green
Unusual bright objects ornamented all about
Branches tinseled, an ancient gold angel on top
Clear into late December
Shouting Merry Christmas freely
Whispering Happy Birthday baby Jesus
On one snow flake at a time if it pleases
My love for you, now, is a new flake of snow,
It began on a cold winter’s night.
Love’s arms surrounded the insides of me,
And my heart they did sweetly ignite.
Igniting to delicate, precise and so tender,
A matrix in which I am trapped.
My heart wants for you, its passion and lust,
Your snow has me cloaked, has me wrapped.
Encased on a mountain our love sits unique,
Other love seems so common and trite.
Our love is the beautiful sparkling snow flake,
Lighting our hearts to a wonderful bright.
Snow flakes once were pretty white
Now one size and side fits all
Now they hail from New York City
From the west coast life and
Mostly from the universities to fight
Free speech flew out the window tonight
Caked in fear, steeped in ignorance
Piled high in innuendo on the streets
Like black flakes on a dead agenda corps
Spoiled brats, trapped in fascism's iron grip
Rain down without shame
That is not snow falling outside your window
But an ugly mob, demonic in nature at prey
A rainbow coalition but dirty
Not so pretty and bright like real snow
Not bathed in white privilege like you and I
A political faction falling on you
Snow flakes only know hate
Their infestations are contagious
Contaminate linear thought
Do not speak to snow flakes
(Fragmented thinkers one and all)
When walking down the street
Never make eye contact
Ruled by emotional tantrums and cries
Free speech is not an option
There is only one side to a snow flake, theirs
So run and hide

*Linear thinking is the process by which linear thinkers put things in order as they experience them and how they express them. Their thinking process proceeds in a sequential manner, like a straight line. A straight line between two points is the most efficient way to get from one place to another. It could never be confused with fragmented thinkers.
Many flakes
It takes to make
A snowman
Little sisters
Little brothers
Make no mistake
Flakes melt and cake
And some are flakier
Than others
The silent fake
For it’s own sake
May replicate
One then another
And float to ground
Without a sound
To lie unfound
A faithless
Lover
by Gail
Corn flakes, sugar, plus syrup,
Boiled, mixed together,
Spooned out like cookies on sheet,
Cooling and setting,
Hard to wait for taste,
Sweet crunchy
Mine!
We rode beyond the flip
Of Walter and his friends,
On this *****steady slip
In the cabin to the west,
Where the pride of lions sleep
All night till the end.
On the hillside of west,
The corns are left for rats,
The moonlight is left
For the cave of the bats,
The stars in themselves
Are laid so on the mat.
That same mile leads the heap
Of lofty stuffs up the hills,
The snow of flake spills
Into Eve's marshy opened hips,
And the apples of honey
Are plucked on Adam's lips.
The bed bath of Mr. Benson
Floats out steadily in the skies,
Reaching the pride of the sons
Laid up the feet so high,
Sailing all the phantom men
On the carpet of the smile.
There is a table solely laid
Down below the blue ceiling,
Also is a shea iced cake
In the pie wholly sealed in,
And the storm of the day
Rains in the fields of candy.
The circles are in squares
In the Square at the Circle,
The cycles can be shared
In dome down the valleys;
The clones you can swerve,
And bike up the galley.
Now that I have you mine
On the hills up the shores,
Take a look the while
At the feathers of the scores,
One by one in the time,
And rise up on these songs.
