Winter Bliss

Grey skies make me smile
Autumn's chill embraces me
Winter's on the way

Now I feel alive
Heat and humidity gone
Summer's oppression

Trees disrobe for sleep
Pray, winter bring your snow
To blanket the earth

White ice lit darkness
Slight crunch of snow under foot
Quiet falling flakes

Swirling wind echos
Calling souls to festival
Join in blissful dance
