Homes so recently abandoned
for Sunday swims and picnics
have become indoor respites
from the restless chill of change.

Secure, still days have vanished,
with hazy meadows humming.
Fireflies have met their end,
replaced with jack-o'-lanterns.

Now forewarning breezes,
stealthy, crisp, and vibrant,
pierce preoccupations,
uncovering reckless impulses.

Now uncanny images,
voices of chance and charm,
bide their ghostly time
to tease mortals hitherto content.

Darts and dashes of circumstance,
figures of flitting moments,
are creatures mysteriously born,
skipping towards certain death.

So what, if the end is approaching;
the witches' brew is bubbling--
the whispers of all moans and laughs,
the collage of dreams and desires.

Now is the ecstasy of flinging
one's fate to the unrefined choir--
the discordant sounds and initiatives
of many spirits and springs.

Grinning gourds and goblins
bless the annual surprise--
this primal burst of forces
that refuse once more to be quenched.

Holiday Fest At Its Best

Glitter, Glamour, Glitz and Spritz
Shimmer and Sparkle, oh how we marvel at all the Ritz
It's a Holiday Fest At Its Best!

Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Spiritual...
whatever your ritual, it's time to reflect, reconnect
and rejoice to be alive and revive our souls and minds
This is an awe inspiring, rejuvenating time!

Holiday songs and singalongs
messages to keep a song in our hearts
not just in December, but everyday to remember...
regarding Love, Forgiveness and Re-inventive Starts!

Now on to food, do you know what tastes good?
EVERYTHING*
There is so much to choose...
any mouth watering decadence
embraces my stomach a happy resident,
I look forward and I bet you do too!

A Fruit Cake in a Decorative Tin Bin...
Well, Ya' Know...
That's Optional! (SMILE)

December Harvest Fest

Silent sighs as a remorseful tear taps the ground
Babies mama be sure to do it differently if theres ever a
second go roun'
Lets start decoratin' next years tree
Plump pumpkins for the world to see
In our hearts is the December Harvest Fest
Tis the season to show all your love to the very best
Come ye friends and fam as its all the same
We'll dance and celebrate all thru the city with no name
So be it my fusselbator or lil miss giz
 I simply cant miss this
And an ode to my duo of All American teen divas
All my love even if ya are Beliebas

Durian Fest

Durian Fest

This being the month of September....
It is the season made just for tropical fruits lovers...
Given a favorable season of good sunny weather..
Coupled with intermittent rainfall all over..

The daily market place teems with fruits galore..
Abundant supplies of various fruits spill over...
The undisputed king of these fruits is the durian..
A aromatic thorny fruit that has its fans swooning over..

Some just can't tolerate its aroma, it is pungent...
But durian lovers, they are salivating in anticipation. ..
When it is a durian fest with a eat all you can invitation...
Bring your partner, your friends and your family members...

Partake in a merry session of eating luscious durians...
Forget the traditional lunch, gorge yourselves with durians...
If you're there on time, rest assured you all will be feted...
With all kinds of durians, kampung types and hybrids...

Best of all, you each get to test your durian instincts...
Are the durian pips you're eyeing are as good as your instincts...
Nothing could be more satisfying than getting your hunch right...
That those succulent durian pips you're eyeing are just right...

You take a little pause, should you go for another pip....
You feel you've had enough but look at that pip...
You've got to try it out, it has to be heavenly, you bet...
You've had enough, but let's see how is this last pip...

Burp! Burp! I've got to try this pip, though I'm full indeed!
Look at that other pip, please I've got to taste that pip...
Lordy me! I'm so full of durians that I feel I'm bursting..
But look at that newly opened durian, let me have one last pip...

Burp!... Burp!...

Rock 'N Roll Rhyme Fest-All My Love

"ALL MY LOVE"
ALBUM: IN THROUGH THE OUR DOOR
-LED ZEPPELIN

Perfectly c o m p o s e d on the album “In Through The Out Door”,
Robert Plant and John Paul Jones sang “ALL MY LOVE” live-
Led Zeppelin had been drifting apart, but this song was for
Plant’s son Karac who died of a stomach infection at age five.

Not a traditional love song, but a tribute to a l i f e l e s s child,
it took Plant ten years to try to make sense of his death-
At that time Jimmy Page and John Bonham had been acting wild,
while Plant was struggling to take another heartbroken breath.

Losing a child brings a s o r r o w no parent should have to bear,
but a deep mourning can bring a lyricist to write brilliance-
From this tragedy Plant began to heal and graciously shared
his tenacity from a time of anguish into buoyant resilience.

This complex song was full of yearning with a sense of bittersweet,
an i n t e r n a l struggle with loss and deprivation of life’s meaning-
A sacred time in the life when a parent should admit defeat,
“ALL MY LOVE” was a song written from Plant’s heart that was bleeding.

When the moon’s gaslight wraps my hair
In beaded lace and creamed amber,
The winking skies bid me a playful roam
Enthralled by an incense of orchids
Dripping around a gazebo’s path…
I cuddle the zing of heat’s yearning
And as summer drones its raspy tune,
My limbs prance in a flamenco dance
Beneath an evening’s garland of a sky,
Like a warm potion of vintage Chardonnay…
Then, to explode into its delirious essence
While I bloom through a season’s luscious fest.

Arc of moonlight here by the lake:
Moments of grace now and here bring,
Insight and sight reveal fond take;
Dreams flood and trace what vision flings.
Autumn has come with stillness clear,
Unleash the feel of happy days;
Times quickly sum the harvest cheer,
Unwind and heal the wounded ways;
Meet moon glow wit with festive air,
Niche joy of soul in wondrous spread;
Free time now fit moon cake affairs,
Enjoy deep whole and purge all dread;
Sense nature here vivid and wise,
Thrill peace and cheer with grand surprise.

It sheer is nice to munch all night
and all day, too, with Byron’s crew
of sheep, that is, that wander ‘neath
his walnut grove, that’s old and true.

Hey, baa baa Babe, don’t you run away
you’re missing tons of fresh, green hay
meanwhile baa baa Bob, whose teeth are long
wanders in circles ‘cuz he has brain fog.

Poor baa baa Ben is growing rather bored
he nibbles walnut shells for show and tell
‘cuz he wants the lady sheep to know
he’s available to frolic for a spell.

Yep, it’s real nice to meet and greet
at this sheep convention across the street
to congregate and shoot the breeze
until they get hay fever and suddenly sneeze…
…achoo, baa, baa, achoo!

Carving canyons
Starving clouds and land alike

Making sand of topsoil
As pilgrims pray for rain

staking a claim in blowing dust
In bilingual refrains

of long missed moisture
and drying rust

Sun-dried children cleansed and swaying
on backyard clothes lines

dying for a drop
of Sun-Dried rain
