Though urges could empty a vault
Obsession to splurge cannot halt!
Surge spending can’t pause
Ending it might cause
Our mental gestalt to default

Premium Member A Simple Feel-Good Nod

How sweet are the messages of affirmation,
Enhancing our self-image when we are down
Often providing reason for contemplation,
But should not be worn like a golden crown.
To give someone else a simple feel-good nod
Elevates the spirits of both giver and receiver,
Now and then, everyone deserves that laud
Being noticed for being a creative achiever.

Affirmation gives a special boost to the poet
For most poets are their own harshest critics,
And if we do not give them the praise of merit
How can they know we appreciate their lyrics?
When we feel good about a poem, let’s share it
For we all hope our works will a notice inherit.

Dr. P.D. Feel Good vs.' Doc the Poet (#2

Doc, you can keep wearing my CROWN.
It goes perfect with your pink hospital gown.
I am the one that damaged and demolished all your goods
Now you’re like a tr@mp roaming the hoods
Diagnose your poetry under a form of drug abuse.
If you want to be a real princess, cover up them bruise.
Step into my office, -I'm the Dr. Feel Good of abuse.
My assistant will stamp and shave you like a sheep.
With the consumption, you’re not for human use.

Doc, I will be your worst nightmare.
My ambush of words will leave you in fear.
My assistant Nathan will leave you babbling,
As he gives you a PAP SMEAR.
You cannot escape my mental destruction gear.
STUTTERING as you get donkey punched in the rear.

You will cry for mercy as I hammer in your head.
Begging my assistant to put you out of misery.
Screwing with your mind, laughing at your history.
Cooking your words like chicken cacciatore.
Forgetting to add herbs to your so-called poetry.
Now who is the one with the ALZHEIMER'S poetry disease?
Now I have you on your knees.
Making you suffer while you foam at the teeth.
Spiting my speech disorder all over your face.
Your slam has no speed to continue with this race.
You’re nothing but a rat, running thru my maze
My assistant is setting traps in your house
Starving and making you trip like an experimental mouse.

Crushing your amphetamines high thread.
I'm going to take your poetic head,
Cram it into the hospital bed.
Awe Doc, All them tears I will make you shed.
Doc, your poetry will be crying for mercy instead.
My pen will inject you a poetic black and blue full of lead.
Refusing you Penicillin, for your infection, over bled.
Adding salt to your wounds, screaming (DR. P.oetic D.read!)
All in time Doc, you will fear me until you go brain dead
Asking for an over dose wishing you were dead.
Knowing that Dr. P.D. Feel Good~is laughing in her head.
By the time, you snap to, I am still way ahead of you.

Feel Good Religions

Suppose you went to several doctors who told you your prognostics were grim,
And you didn’t like what you heard so you find a feel good doctor and decide you’d best
listen to him.
The fact is he didn’t really make you feel better he just said what you had wanted to hear,
All the while you are getting sicker and the evidence is quite clear!

The same thing is going on in many of our churches, they are not teaching what God wants
them to teach,
They are trying to please man, not God, in the sermons they preach.
These feel good preachers need to be honest and preach what God commands for our souls to
be saved,
Obedience, faithfulness, the very actions of His Son, which to the world he gave.

Strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, and few there be that find it,
It is something we truly have to search for with all our heart and we must never quit.
God says prove all things, don’t be guilty of taking someone at there word,
Learn your Bible, it’s our first and best defense to many lies you will incur.

Repent, turn away from whatever wrong you do,
Get baptized and be a servant of God, for His Kingdom is there for you.
The Gospel is the Good News, the Inspired Word of God, given unto man,
Just a few simple rules, not really all that hard to follow, that is God’s plan!

A Feel Good Poem

Here's a little something to make you feel good
A little ditty to brighten your day
A poem to let you know that you're not alone
Come what will...Come what may

Here's a little invite to the morning
Something in which to start up your day
If you could RSVP that we can expect your company
Then we'll be on our way

Here's a little tune that we can hum to
In perfect harmony
Finding what's right in life, setting all else aside
Will be the song we sing

Here's a little moment to make it all happen
The perfect amount of right in the frame of mind
We'll find what we're hoping for, life's open door
As we step inside

To share that little something to make us feel good
To help send us all along our way
This simple poem to let us know, we are not alone
On this day we will call today

Feel Good Music

Spreading peace, love and unity
From its roots in Jamaica
To each and every community.

This is reggae music —
The type of music that lifts your spirits,
The type of music that makes you want to smile
Every time you feel it.

So with the heart of a lion,
Stay forever ready,
Ready to move to a beat
So sweet and rock steady,
A beat sending out its good vibes
To each and everybody —

Born from the struggle,
Carved out of pain,
A song of survival
That still breaks the chains.

I Feel Good

I feel good if I have money
listen to a joke that is funny
or someone calls me honey
but I feel even better
if I finish a letter
or something someone asks
when I finish tasks
I feel good if I have no money
or if the joke is not funny
I feel good when the sun is not shining
cuz I know every cloud has a silver lining
I feel good even if I make a mistake
cuz tomorrow will come for our sake
and it is only a day away
to be better than yesterday!?

The Feel Good Thing

I am not trying to sound strange or vain at all,
But hunting with holy spirit is fun, quite a ball,
It is power and a holy gift that make this to be,
Spirits inside glowing for me to speak to and see.

I am not doing it purposely or to cause people pain,
I do not do it to get them angry or drive them insane,
God controls what I look at and see which is you,
He lets me in on the both of you.

How Does It Feel? Does It Feel Good?

How does it feel to have power
How does it feel to have strength
How does it feel to be a man with strong hands and loose morals
How does it feel to take someones will away from them
Does it give you a rush to make one beg for there life
does it feel good to make them re-live it over and over
                                    through trials and your appeals
Does it feel good to not be man enough to own up to what you did
How does it feel to sit in Jail and rot
How does it feel that you didnt get away with this
And how does it feel to have my blood on your hands
And how does it feel to have stolen my will
Does it make you feel strong to know you almost killed me
And does it thrill you that I almost killed myself
Do you even have a conscience
                                              you filthy sociopath
                                                  Was it fun for you
                                       to make someone else helpless
                                                   And was it worth it
Did ya get your rocks off
Did the unwillinness of the act knock your tainted socks off
Was it some sort of fantasy
You just had to play out
                                                      Do you feel brave
                                                      Do you feel proud
                                               You Sadistic self fulfilling swine
I hope your happy Cause your freedom is mine
but ill be a prisoner long after your released
cause of what you did to me

Premium Member The Things That Make Me Feel Good

We all have things that makes us feel good
Some of us only have one special object
As for me -I have several special items
They are as follows:
A book I read from time to time
Is a book by Louis Hay
She has written a book of Affirmatoin
It makes me think clearly
Eating chocolates makes me feel good
Seeing Romeo a grey cat he romes the yard

Listening to classical music relaxes me
Blue Grass,Niel Young,Gordon Lightfoot
I enjoy to watch romance movies
Or reading romance novels
I do day dream of my life
Enjoying the song of the Dove
Then there is meditation to relax
The body mind and soul
Eating dark chocolate makes me feel good
Thes are some of the things that make me feel good

Premium Member The Feel Good Against Revolution

A difference between co-dependent feel-good rallies
and interdependent revolutions
is also the difference
between Negative LoseLose bipolarity
and Positive WinWin Energy,

CoDependency is a double-binding
tolerance of addictive mendacity
sharing common grounds of fear and anger and, eventually, hate
with corresponding lack of freedom's non-violent gratitude
further imprisoning future LoseLose lack of love relationship,

co-empathy
eco-listening

golden invitation speaking
WinWin fullness of integrity,
multicultural interdependency,
our own secular and sacred Original Intent
as we each continue to emerge

mentoring interdependent democratic maturity.

A codependent rally

Feel Good Moments
Written: by Tom Wright
3/12/2016

Each life ties knots in the rope of time,
And each knot becomes a mind picture.

Each picture, a feel good moment of things once enjoyed,
Before age slapped our face to get our attention;

Only then do we realize that,
Desire is now held captive only by our ability.

Stepping Out

Back in the day music was good.
We enjoyed ourself no matter what part of town.
From the shotguns, to the high-rises.
The urge that instantly becomes testimonial.
Immediately we'd feel better soon as the music plays.
We'd forget everything else.
Like millions of feet echoing through our ears.
Our body reacts.
The experience of true euphoria when the music takes over.
Suddenly the load doesn't seem so heavy.

From the condos to the slums.
The mark of an era.
Going on down the road.
Nothing to do but walk.
Strut your strut.
The struggle to be free.
The stratosphere doesn't seem all so far.
The absolute rule of thumb.
Coming alive blowing out the dust,
The relationship between artist to listener.
To welcome birth.
The experience of it all.
Nothing but the road in front.
Strutting along.
Living, breathing.
To enjoy yourself no matter what part of town.
From projects to burb.
To step off the curb leave work behind.

Dance the block.

Clocking out.
Stepping to life.
