Premium Member Soul of Seaside Sepulchre

When the
seaside sepulchre
of a kingdom,
without its queen,
is smeared with
screams of lighting,
I wish to crackle
these slivers
of silver shakle,
and devour
that consoling
taste of balsamic
twilight, which
drapes every
ritual of woe with
maleficent vows.

I wonder, if
the thievery of
of my soul, will
enhance the
crawling of
raven sun
or, bestow power
upon the baptised
mannequin,
by slaying those
jealous lilies,
floating in
summery
estuaries of
my stolen destiny.

As these sage flames
fly across the
chambers of
my castle,
petrifying those
puerile promises
of life, I seak to
be an amaranth,
rising beyond
oak skies as
I engulf those
taunting meteors that
enshroud my
solitude and
dethrone every
essence of
false light, that
consumed those
waltzing scents
of my sangria spring.

Has my heart
become a
fickle thorn,
who will keep
bleeding guidance
in moonlight or
shall this
fortnight be
traced by the last
streak of treacherous
bloodline?

Perhaps,
'The Goddess
of Thunder'
is unfurling
those flaming
rose' maidens,
who wish
to splash ebons
of roaring wreath,
across the
woeful vaults of
my ribcage,
which concealed
their silence
in sentinels of
sacrifice.

I don't assert
the want of
swathing myself
in the perfumed
petrichor of
heinous healing,
as I don't want to
quench this
rage that
is carving a
strife to
refuse my
surrender towards
this succumbing
darkness.

" I wish to be
        the soul of a marionette's
           pearly pupa,
               satiated by fiery halo
                       of chrysalis,
          and slowly weaving
              silken hymns of
                          desperate hope,
                   desiring to emerge
                          from the emeralds,
                                   that betray every eye... "

Premium Member Morning Mist

In dampened blur of violet dawn
as angels’ weep did touch upon
a mourner’s shoulders mist enshroud -
to soften edges gauzy haze
that hug around these painful days
and mellow memories endowed
in sacred stillness of time gone.

In silent water droplets clear
is beauty precious every sphere
collecting on the silvern spires
midst leaf and scented lavender
reminding me of when we were
devoted in our love’s desires -
each flower holds a lost love tear.

Fall snow fall,
Over the moaning Paris’ ground,
Let your descending snowflakes a
Healing blanket for the city
To weave
And
Charlie’s slaughtered cartoonists
To enshroud!

Premium Member A Storm Is Brewing

A storm is brewing, strong and proud,
a dense and heavy somber view,
like smoke-filled billows that enshroud
the splendor of earth's sky of blue.

With blankets of gray thunderheads
    A storm is brewing, strong and proud;
and as the thick of darkness spreads
they roar their thunder clear and loud.

Neath sky of blue, the storm has plowed;
     its eerie colors deeper grow.
A storm is brewing, strong and proud
as gusty winds begin to blow.

The deep, blue sky lies neath the quilt
of patchwork clouds of gray that shroud.
Now blacker still, its anger built;
A storm is brewing, strong and proud.

Premium Member A Sweet Melody

Sunshine smiles on butterflies
 That flutter by the rose
 Their crimson petals mesmerize
 As their fragrance they impose

Clouds float by, puffy and proud
As they slowly change their hue
 And with gray they enshroud
A sky that once boasted blue

A squirrel laughs at a dog that barks
 Before scampering up a tree
A chorus is sparked by birds in the park
 As they sing sweet melodies

The birds sweet songs flow right along
As the trees sway in rhythmic pleasure
Thunder roars strong in baritone song
As the clouds release their treasure

Unavowed Promise

Forlorn tinged faces reminiscing old times
Where smiles did not enshroud an ache,
And the grueling effort it had to take,
Cries of help in their throat they were caught
Feeling a shimmer of serenity not a bit distraught,
But that's the thing about pain,
It might leave for brief moments,
But comes back like an unavowed promise from grey clouds to carry the rain.

Premium Member Who Will

WHO WILL?

With frozen tears, she stands alone,
Not knowing what to do,
With nobody to call her own,
Who will her heart subdue?

Listen to her heart thudding loud,
She faces the unknown,
When darkness does her face enshroud,
Who will hearken her groan?

With weeping, she worries and frets,
Emotions rule her mind,
Sometimes, her purpose she forgets,
Who will help her unwind?

Premium Member Lost In the Mist

The graying mists rise and enshroud him, he

suspended, lies on a short thread of life,

while gathered in small knots of worry, we

keep hopeless watch, while I, his beloved wife,

resent the others, wanting them to be

beyond the misty veil. I'll bear the strife.

I welcome in his mother, frail and weak,

but other than our prayers, we do not speak.

I'M Telling You Why

At him I'll never shout
Never make him cry
In him I never doubt
I'm telling you why......

He cuddles me when I'm sleeping
He makes me smile when I'm awake
He senses when I'm upset or sad
He loves me for goodness sake

At him I'll never shout
Never make him cry
In him I never doubt
I'm telling you why.....

He cooks all my favorite dishes
He loves all my quirky ways
He tells me I am beautiful
He sets my heart ablaze

At him I'll never shout
Never make him cry
In him I never doubt
I'm telling you why.....

He makes me feel very special
He makes me laugh out loud
He will be there for me always
His feelings he'll never enshroud

At him I'll never shout
Never make him cry
In him I never doubt
I'm telling you why.....

I will love him forever
I will never let him go
I will treasure every moment
Together we'll keep our love aglow

President Elect Alexandria Ocasio Cortez 2024

President Elect Alexandria Ocasio Cortez - 2024

Circa...Approximately one month
following her thirty fifth birthday
October 13th, 2024
AOC became the first
female commander in chief,
and youngest person ever

to assume Oval Office
amidst landslide victory
among competing candidates
ousting current establishment incumbent,
elected to serve United States
despite being neophyte,

she received most
votes of any contender
since founding of Democracy
to assume modestly furnished
Capitol Hill - Washington
District of Columbia

most powerful post
within the United States
immediately electrifying North America
with her megawatt smile
crackling, snapping, and popping
with positivity, integrity, energy...

Deafening applause swept across nation
upon ascending dais prior to uttering one word,
she immediately wowed
darling of the hour received standing ovation
across greensward donned bajillion crowd
cheering, imploring, pumping...

green sleeved fists acclamation
action speaking decibels
louder than words bowed
young lady brought to genuine tears,
asper bona fide accreditation
understandable that newly

minted ma'am felt proud
to stride rite, (an air of modest
confidence) did enshroud,
sans an angelic halo augmenting
as optimistic words heard aloud

heralded sincere charming, intimating,
radiating... no frills accustomation
as if pledging troth to every citizen
(inclusive every flora and fauna) vowed
to steer ship of state toward ecologically,
environmentally, essentially...activation

away from fossil fuels shifting energy
consumption vis a vis alternate modalities
sow rejuvenation plowed
back into Earth prioritizing monied allocation
(dollar amount well worth investment) actualization,
where future generations will be grateful

to dead recent forebears for gift endowed
worth more than fine spun gold regarding
preservation of Gaia, how *****sapiens adaptation
made existence for all living creatures
(animals, plants, even this fungi) healthier allowed
populace to breathe easy and rest assured

quality of life for billions (ushering universal
family planning), despite tense adjudication,
especially when linkedin with
nuclear warheads disavowed,
but eventually kickstarted synergistic administration.

Have You Seen My Lovely Miss

Once I lived as a poet brave
Who loved a maiden fair.
I wrote a ballad for my love,
And breathed a silent prayer.

My love left home one gloomy day
For fear of her father’s wrath.
She ran, she walked, she climbed up high
Upon a mountain path.

Oh, have you seen my lovely Miss
Upon the mountain high?
I’ll search all night till break of day,
And scan the distant sky.

May I hold her hand once more
And feel her tender kiss?
But fluffy clouds all enshroud
My lovely little Miss.

Perhaps she’s dancing with the stars,
And angels on the fly.
I must see her once again,
She forgot to say goodbye.

Michigan

M ishigama my love,
I nto your water wonderland of brook trout and deer I
C an hear the cherubic song of chirping robin and rustling pine.
H eavenly harbors and pristine beaches shape a welcoming hand
I nfused with indigo lakes and teeming streams while three
G reat lakes enshroud to form a kirlian aura of rippling verve.
A live for but a flicker of time, my Michigan home away from Home
N urtures and readies me for the final cruise to the Wonderland of Love.

Note: The word ‘Michigan’ is a Frenchification of the Ojibwe word ‘Mishigama’ which
means ‘large water’.
