Enchantment of this soul
breathing inside the magic aroma.
Under the hawthorn bush a fragrance lingers
appearing out of thin air my dream

Lunar circle turning over earthern thoughts
a strawberry cream moon softly whispers
Under the green turf you are held solid diamond
the beauty of midnight tolls

Growing all over the castle walls ivy emotions
gripping feelings cotton soft slippers hold a print
Embracing cold stone warmly clinging onto chambers walls
Transforming kisses tenderly inside the heart and soul

With Enchanting Winds, Her Pledged Guarding Hosts

In yonder land a princess lives,
With gentle winds her guarding host;
Suitors gaze as her beauty gives
Her sweet elegance, all the toast!

Yon dark castle, Dread lays in wait,
Its black anger, hating her charms;
Vows he, her enslavement tis Fate
Tho' it be by great force of arms!

For her kind heart it wants to bleed;
Savage her and sate its evil,
Yet Fate, grants mercy to her need
destroys this monster primeval!

In yonder land a princess lives,
With gentle winds her guarding host;
Suitors gaze as her beauty gives
Her sweet elegance, all the toast!

drifting desert breeze
dancing veils of silk whisper grace
a touch of the divine from the heart of Morocco
haunting music for the soul from ages reminiscent of distant enchanted worlds

Those Exotic Enchanting Eyes And Long Dark Curls

Found you there, heart resting on beautiful cloud
with a pretty so great, you had to be proud.
Those exotic enchanting eyes and long dark curls
all of you so sweet, my mind fell into swirls.

Deepest trepidation when I dared to ask you out
your, "of course", made heart and soul shout.
Joy rained down back in those blessed miracle days
with my saying, "I love you", a thousand ways!

You filled my sails, sending my world into motion
flying to you, I crossed the Pacific ocean.
Tender and sweet, moment of our first embrace
dear love found, my mind holds every trace.

Once my days were sad and filled with dark curses
now they shine while writing you verses!
Future promises, in only death, shall we ever part
that promise sings so poetic in my heart!

Found you there, heart resting on beautiful cloud
with a pretty so great, you had to be proud.
Those exotic enchanting eyes and long dark curls
all of you so sweet, my mind fell into swirls.

Note- A poem I wrote to my darling wife after only
nine days as husband and wife. A private poem that
she has so graciously allowed me to post.
In my humble opinion, my best ever love poem.
Which is why I wanted it posted here.

Enchanting Roses

Enchanting Roses

Nature’s pride, lovely enchantress,
roses a font of love and romance
always inspire lovers, artists, and poets.
Eternally exquisite…
Roses

Shower me with lovely regal roses,
all varieties, colors, and sizes.
I love them all - pink, orange, yellow, white, red,
old, modern, miniature, or hybrid…
Roses

Gently seduce my senses,
with alluring natural perfume.
Wake me up in the morning
with soft caresses of silky petals…
Roses

Captivate my mind and emotions.
Soothe my aching heart,
and delight my yearning soul.
Purest of beauties…
Roses

Premium Member An Enchanting House

My eyes are so sleepy and soon I am dreaming,
I find a staircase and leave my reality;
At the top of the stairs is a house enchanting,
My childhood home, oh such delightful fantasy.
        And I open the door,
          To a house I adore;
        And then I see Suzanne,
          Oh, the Lord had a plan . . .

Suzanne would leave us weeping, but here was playing,
Oh, in this enchanted house dwells my family;
I hear Mom and Grandma in the kitchen talking,
Their laughter like tingling bells of a rhapsody.
        Down below an uproar,
           I go down to explore;
        Oh Dad I almost sang,
          A story Dad began . . .

Dad was telling Grandpa a big tall tale laughing,
Then, I go up to my room where I was happy;
With my dolls and teddy bears and books still waiting,
My family, entwined in this sweet tapestry.
        Enchanted house for sure,
          And from my eyes tears pour;
        All dead - the Lord's command,
           I turned away and ran . . .

                                               back to reality . . .

A single red rose you gave me and vodka,
          Soft music drifted and candlelight flickered;
You kissed my ruby red lips and I surrendered my heart,
     Our breaths were restless and our hands wild with love.

Beyond our window the moon was high,
           And the stars were sparkling like diamonds;
I gazed into your brown eyes as you whispered of love,
     You stroked my long raven hair with your strong fingertips.

You calmed me with romantic sweet words,
          And our bodies entwined all the night long;
Wrapped in sweet desire you took me to the ocean blue,
     I handed over my heart and a magic love spell was cast.

Your hand of steel touched my glass cheek,
          And you told me-  I would never be alone;
Never again, you said we were forever, ever entwined,
     I settled into your arms and we watched the sky lighten.

Stop, smell the roses and take your time.
Drop your guard and open your prosaic mind.

Walk under a shower of fresh rain.
Look up beyond the common plains.

Up in the sky sets a big beautiful rainbow.
Take in the beauty, drop off your mental cargo.

Feel the breeze of the wind as it leaves no trace.
Soak up the rays of the sun beaming upon your face.

Lay out a blanket, in the middle of a flowered field.
Close your eyes, whelm up the smells it yields.

Nature rendered you into a peaceful slumber.
Enchantingly inviting you back into her chamber.

Premium Member Love's Enchanting Call

I came to journey to your castle wall
To cross the bridge to your velvet heart
I have come to walk in your spirit's hall
And see its beauty as your fears depart
To be your Knight and chosen sentry
Who will guard against all shadowed course
To protect your love from evil's entry
With reasoned patience and gentle discourse
I'm a quiet Knight of truthful passion
Who will share with you love's strongest desire
I will unfurl your heart's flag in fashion
And plant it firmly in love's burning fire

  I came to journey to your castle wall
  To hear soft sighs of love's enchanting call

Enchanting Beauty

Enchanting beauty

A hush finds the corners of my dreams,
softly lingering where love waits
alone in thought as twilight blooms

Moon flowers serenade my heart
and fireflies ignite passionate touches
of violet shadows extending a hand

A cool breeze wafts silently past
gathering within my longing smile,
as this day whispers its poetic farewell

Leaving me with pristine heavens above,
 gazing deeply within to view the
 enchanting beauty that I do seek

Enchanting Woods

Morning sun ascends,
..Light spills through the canopy:
...Awakening the forest.

Resounding wildlife,
..Surrounded by verdant trees:
...Praise in peaceful croons.

Calm water cascades,
..Caressing giant boulders:
...Bathing river rocks.

Mist ascends with grace,
..Bubbling, gurgling, roaring:
...The falls sing aloud.

Premium Member Enchanting Shadows

So distant was love from her heart to mine,
 We orbited different worlds
 Yet we spun with a passion on destiny's path
 Rotating with desire as we eclipsed;
 The enchanting shadow of love, for a moment in time,
 Fell on distant hearts, passing through the night

Behind the elaborate mask I wear
You are a tempting sample of wine
Beauty to behold, your face serious
With a dazzling smile, girlish delight,
With the most enchanting looks
that would melt the coldest of hearts
You are exquisite, warm, beguilingly innocent
The list is endless...
When I see you now,my heart flitters
and now more than ever,
I crave for your glowing angelic presence
Happy Birthday!!

Enchanting Eyes

Your beauty touches of a stars heavenly radiance
For in your face is captured their celestial glow
In blissful pools of endless starlight splashing
And I alone my love will always deeply know

The value of your beautifully enchanting eyes
Which hold securely in bond my heart each day
In a powerless confinement of cupids sweet adore
Where my love easily grows in an abounding way

For deep in my dreams I have always sought
Your heart's love which daily endears my mind
For it has always been my heart's fervent desire
To of your sweet love belong an infinite time

For to serve the daily needs of your lovely heart
Each day shall leave my face with an enthralling glow
Knowing I will never have a single desire to depart
Those beautifully enchanting eyes who love me so.

Premium Member BEAUTIFUL BABY BOY

Dedicated to Kyle, My Darling Son

Bouncing boy is baby joy.
Enchanting sky-blue eyes,
Adored so by my heart.
Undoes me when he cries.
Tiny toes and fingers start
Internal loving sighs.
Fascinated when his lips part,
Uttering endless, "oh my's",
Loving him, knows no "why's."
