Premium Member A Soul Divine

A candle burns deep, in core of every soul,
A sacred flame, an ethereal halo of intellect,
A guide heavenly, a mystique that educates,
Defying overtures of egotism and pettiness,

A beacon of wisdom beaming rays eternal
On passage to liberty that was always there
Yet, elusive to arrogance and ignorance,
Mired in obscurities and misguided fallacies.

Soul never rests, sailing vast oceans of life,
Whether upon apex or troughs of tides
Vying shores spiritual, buoying endearment,
Inviting apathy and hubris to temple of solace
Delivering words of sermon compassionate,

Teaching of awakening and enlightenment,
Liberating from beliefs narrowly defined
Toward empathy, enriching hearts, and minds,
Transcending to rebirth of happiness divine,

In harmony with salvation, an epic realization,
An epiphany heard through angelic citations
Emanating from influences beyond transitory,
Forever missives of attainment and peace,

Embracing serenity of solitude, clarity of being,
Achieving bliss of cohesion and congruity,
Set free beyond bounds of mundane, ordinary,
Attaining divinity in realm of humanity.

Premium Member Make All Things Right

“You must love your neighbor as yourself.”
Matthew wrote those words in the Bible to tell
the world how God expects everyone to be.
No mask worn by a viper can conceal a snake
from the eyes of God, for he sees everything.

Don't accuse me of preaching damnation in fire,
because I don't believe in the flames of a hell.
Jesus was a preacher and I'm proud to walk in his way,
witnessing to those interested and filled with desire
to learn his Father's message and what he had to say.

Humans dare not judge each other. It's not their right.
Only God can read the hearts of men and he alone
is the rightful judge of those who do good and bad.
Those who think they are clever, pretending to be good
may be wolves dressed as sheep, hiding in plain sight.
They smile, pat you on the back, seemingly humble,
then bite your hand and lick the flesh from your bone.

The Apostles argued among themselves, they grumbled
which of them would be greater in wielding his power.
Jesus was saddened by their attitude but gently he spoke,
"This is not the way among you; but whoever wants
to become great among you must be your minister,
and whoever wants to be first must be your slave.” *

Contentiousness and egotism are enemies of humility
so look deep within and seek a spiritual brotherhood
with those crossing your path. We all have the ability
to walk in truth and light, making all things right.

*Matthew 20: 26-27

Premium Member Look At Me

How life has changed
Simplicity no longer reigns
Now a society of ‘look at me’
Lost is self respect and modesty

Breasts and bums on display
Faces plastered in clay
Bodies injected with toxins
Natural beauty no longer an option

Plastic people with plastic minds
Self absorption and vanity combined
Every movement captured on phone
Posed and poised down to the bone

Never present in the here and now
Natural spontaneity they know not how
Life lived only for the screen
Admiration, praise, likes ,comments seen

Humility, modesty, respect
Replaced by egotism, vanity and body perfect
Priorities and thoughts all about self
Consideration , concern for others shelved

There is nothing they will not do
To get that almighty view
Void of decency and dignity
Now a society of ‘look at me’

Premium Member Dysfunctional Inner Peace

The scorpions creeping out from words slowly, acutely framing
where judgement claims the higher position unconditionally
lone vulture hanging over its unsuspecting prey ready to pounce
once so blind ambitions reverberates back as unqualified honours least deserved

Pompous narcissistic elements with nonsensical fruitless talent
held within egotism where fools of choice becomes one’s ability
under total admiration publicly declared in lonely self-centeredness
becomes a sterile reflection back to oneself blinded by arrogance

As friends become nemesis’s unnamed obstacles of your vainglorious rise
Sounding echos reverberates a never ending recording of undeserving self-pride
knowing more than all of what is right claiming the false prize for me, me, me
It matters not that lonely superiority must accept the great divide

False praise their claims attention that inflames your senses unjustly wise
crying regrets a prize is a prize nothing to be gained under the sun or moon
striving after winds have blown a gale force within hidden torment
the wreckage that's left after such destruction can only be found wanting

Egotism is the anesthetic that deadens the pains of stupidity

It lowers the shield that lets one think they have complete validity

Decastich-Anger Is the Curse of the Unforgiven

The deliberate hurt is
a wound never healing,
forgiveness may be granted
to that soul expiring;
and as the trembling lips
close, serenity descends.
To have loved such a person
would have been wrong, not smart;
nothing honorable and pleasant
came out of that foul mouth.
Some realize the demonic force
that was behind it to cause animosity
towards the kindest of hearts;
then is anger the curse of the unforgiven,
not to fully and sincerely apologize?
It's wiser to bear offense than to offend,
so that the guilt is not concealed inside,
but open to unfair criticism
rather than visual humanism;
and would one cope with implausibility?
Along our path, we may see roses...
smell their aroma and cherish their loveliness,
but beneath them there are many thorns
ready to poke those who rush judgment;
and they will bleed for not having been cautious,
or at least avoided the useless torment!
I have bled in my utter blindness,
putting everything at risk, sparing no mercy
for a quest to uphold my integrity
by being too complacent, and not showing kindness.
And ignoring that anger is the curse of the unforgiven,
I beat hard on my chest to feel the acute pain...
remembering the hostile voice putting me down;
embarrassing me of such a vulgar mannerism,
making me despise and hate any exhibited egotism!
The longest time has passed to shorten the brevity of compassion,
to make me aware that to have none is a denial of self!
Weep and mourn for shutting all doors on fairness, cruel soul;
sleep not, for remorse is a plague inflicted upon the unmerciful
who see themselves less useful than those discerning death!

Lagging

We got this home as is
It came with the waves, the forests,
waterfalls, sand dunes, the ice.
We claimed it,
Without thinking twice
We have conquered the land
The sea, the air
We have astounding devices
That your voice can travel through
Your face can travel through
And given a few hours
We could be on the other side of the world
If we choose
We have holograms
For entertainment
And it’s growing
Because we’ve planned it
And our art is amongst the
Most aesthetic of all the planets
We are extremely creative
With emotions which overwhelm
And we’re one of the most innovative species
On this side of the realm

But we are hungry.
Some are hungry for food
Yet we’ve cultivated enough for all
Some are hungry for love
But that’s what they’re made from
Others are hungry for money
For power
Hungry for war
For all things that
Cannot cross the veil with them
And constantly hungry for more,
Sad that this is the world
That we are occupying right now
That war still exists and needs to be
Materialistically
Profitable somehow
I
Me
Mine
Myself
Egotism laced with vanity
How are we so far ahead
In technology
But so far behind
In humanity

Parents

I found a treasure
That does not give me pleasure
My parents are far away
I realize what a treasure I gave away
They provided everything,
But I didn’t give anything
Supported me, took care of me
You know who did bad thing to them?
I left them, yeah it’s me!
I traded my parents’ love
I thought it was well above
Let’s say I didn’t have a love
How do I repay?
Nine months of pregnancy
Around twenty year of tenancy
I may travel around the world
Become richest one in the world
But, don’t think I can give the world
As a payback to my parents
That I used to be so cold
Average life is seventy or eighty
But our plans are placed in infinity
Selfishness takes away from parents
Egotism makes a way out of parents
Don’t set the currency first
Hence put the parents first
Just before smashing with a wall
Well before children become tall
Call, call your mother, tell your father
Tell nobody replaces them, no one other
Chain of my words may seem to you
Nothing at all…
Remember my words parents are reason
 We exist at all…
 I found a treasure
I’ll hold it with my pleasure
Parents are Priceless Treasure…

Vanished Egos

The clouds pass silently above
On their way to infinity;
Sojourners drifting in the sky;
Compliantly acquiescent
to whims of dominating winds.
Our paths to perpetuity
are like those hovering above:
Short time stays in this dimension
crammed with egregious egotism;
Marvel at insignificance
as though it were significant.
Our egos pass, notwithstanding,
into amnesic nothingness.

Ignorant Madness

I thought initially and first my worst fear is fear of fear
that is too global though and I hold dear the fear quite near
misguided far on global planet humankind removed from sanity
with ignorance and fighting firing greed destruction vanity

This morning I woke up to UK Brexit xenophobia social exclusion
and am afraid of nationalism egotism and infused perfusion
of hatred mongering of warfare propaganda into mindless mind
when harmony and peace togetherness cohesion would be kind

Compassionate and loving sharing compromising stance solutions
on cooperation refuges disaster poverty are better contributions
to equal chances on the planet kindness love and loving kindness
rather than deluded independences of ‘us and othering’ blindness

My anxiety and fears stem from history crusading slaughter
with crosses skeletons marching fascists many poppy fields to water
On every TV screen we cannot fail to notice killing for no reason
bleeding hungry marginalized annihilation genocidal treason

I fear more wars on the horizon bloodshed fused insanity the maiming
of humans peoples nations countries dignity when inhumanity needs taming
First prize to fear of wars destroying Universe my children and what could be
so beautiful if we would feel could reason use some empathy and see…

His Own Captive

Those that went before him
Were promised an orphan
By the brutality of the elements
The pestilence of society

They were the pleaders of history
The wounded veterans
Of internecine strife
Victims of little prejudices

Whose faith in the probable
Had been shattered
By those profound revelations
Woe the iron-bound skeptics

When he- a dreamy scholar
Intellectual in times before
It was fashionable to be a freethinker
Bulldozed the great rock

Against those false morals
And put up a philosophical defence
To release the human mind
From the shackles of centuries
Of directional misguidance

They- with inspired confidence
And (one might say)
Controlled reflex
Drew a smile as from a catalogue
Oh there was life in that smile
And leaning on the years
Found intellectual companionship
In makeshift ingenuity

He battled selfishly
Against those callous endearments
And sentimental mountebank sporting
Not on musical instruments
But on people’s obnoxious egotism…

You might think
This anonymous sage
Earned a medal:
There were demonstrations of affection
Tempered with epileptic passion
And resistant impulse

But his social corpse
Could not be sustained by precedent
And was soon ousted
By those immortal phrases
About humane civilization

His roving energetic mind
Pregnant with unexpressed thought
All those volumes of memory
Delineated by consternation-
Withdrew from mother’s apprenticeship
Into mazy fairylands
To spend eternity.

An Ode To Lilith

He, the almighty, is ubiquitous, an omnipresent force

Lilith, the first woman – made from Earth - defied him.

He, the almighty, held no empathy for beings like her.

Lilith, the first wife of the first man – despised him.

He, the Almighty, came to know fear –
The extraordinary virility of her witchcraft troubled him.

Lilith, the martyr – deserted the splendors of Eden

Her buffoonery - her egotism disgusted him

He cursed her, “One hundred of her children would die every day.”

Her agony - her depression thrilled him
Lilith – the first wife, the first woman – lost in history

He, the Almighty – deceived the gullible into idolizing the spectacular him

Lilith, the queen, infamously a demon, covertly a Queen.

Eureka! She is the woman of all women and the enemy of him!

The Girl On the Bench

The face haunts me still. I feel
I should head back
past the wearing county miles
and confining rain,
just say it - one heart-felt interjection
that head did swallow,
opting more the bitter peristalsis
than game tenably Out-of-Range.
And why was not conformed,
as my trembling heart looked, and looked,
marveling if it was deserved
by a man of such despotic head?-
all soon, guilt turned to an egotism
and that case was duly held.
What a life I did lose,
Mind robbed by of a single word!

Impossible Love

I cringe to see your delicious tears trickle thus
And your emotions foul as our ties get worse,
I wish we both lived in some idyllic utopian land
Where things obeyed the whip of some magic wand.

There, I would not hold a grudge against my only love;
For there the egotism and imprudence that shove
Our affections to make room for hate do not tread,
And the strings of binding care flourish in their stead.

Which place would keep in friendship two souls so fond?
The frosty chill of the earth would not save such a bond
For it’s fraught with hesitation and such suspicious doubt
That uproots the fledgling shoots of love before they sprout.

Which imaginary land would host our love’s endangered day
And defend it against its impending fast-approaching decay?
I’m convinced that there’s not a place among the planets nine
That can ever tame wild restless hearts such as yours and mine.
