Those who think they are clever, pretending to be good may be wolves dressed as sheep, hiding in plain sight. They smile, pat you on the back, seemingly humble, then bite your hand and lick the flesh from your bone. The Apostles argued among themselves, they grumbled which of them would be greater in wielding his power. Jesus was saddened by their attitude but gently he spoke, "This is not the way among you; but whoever wants to become great among you must be your minister, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave.” * Contentiousness and egotism are enemies of humility so look deep within and seek a spiritual brotherhood with those crossing your path.
