“to veil light we cloaked it in bliss
then intellect and lower mind
fused together as magnetism
in form where truth we seek to find”
~ Unseeking Seeker
You speak of rain’s voice as star-fire,
an invigorating zeal kissing our soul,
while I stroll the shore of love,
inhaling the incense of lucent sage ~
my heart stirs and pulse awakens,
transcribing the touch of timeless tides,
seeking the softness of the sun,
undressing stubborn haze, disrobing ego,
unbuttoning forgotten chakras,
to rise in hot-stone silence…
O divine beacon of infinite bliss,
I breathe the burn of intuitive ink,
engulfing my inner consciousness,
like magnetic metaphors,
flowing in sync with blue rose radiance,
rushing through the river of veins ~
from heart to toe, palm to crown,
revealing handwritten humility…
I yearn to thrive where petals purify,
forsaking the soil of pride,
planting faith in a realm of selfless bloom,
no longer a mindless marionette,
enticed by materialistic mantras ~
for in the form of fortitude
and in the cadence of clarity,
where we seek the strength of truth,
I have learned to trust and obey the breeze
above the fields of felicity,
illuminating the untouched psyche…
To disrobe the lion’s ego,
would be to destroy a charismatic higher light
dethrone a regal rightous dominance
denounce a fierce protective energy
with pride of a warrior, never repudiate royalty
forswear fealty is to renounce a king of truth
whilst in his den, uncloaked he and his lioness
of regal virtue, love eternal and loyalty
when you engage with ultimate hierarchy,
roars of authority warn and ward risk taking rivals
with gifted instincts, a supreme stubborn strength
and a keen bond and respect for his own
an affectionate and generous warmth
confident yet cautious in their garden of Eden
defeatist disrobes the ego, only when defeated
deep within the soul, we yearn for substance
a spiritual substance sustaining us
the creature sustains as messenger
deeper significance beyond physical form
depicting qualities from the universe
butterflies symbolize transformation,
the turtle patience, the elephant a mighty sooth,
the lion links divine wisdom and perceives truth
smugly standing atop
his pinnacle of conceit,
his false bravado masks his deceit.
he dared alone
to be the ruler of the firmament.
his swollen pride, he donned
like an armor
in a bright afternoon sun
and mocked shadows under his feet.
he's convinced himself
he's the conqueror
of all battles he fought.
his grand illusion complete,
or so he thought; seasons change
and towers constructed in air
cannot stand winter's fury.
gale force winds
strip his crass arrogance naked -
no diadem could spare him
from a looming storm
his manufactured glee eroded
by a cold harsh reality.
his ego disrobed
as he realized
how small of a man he is;
cut down to size
as he watched his empire crumble.
no longer who he once was,
but grateful for the stillness
it created.
Fright
In the absence of complication,
When trials and tribulations cease...
Grasp sapphire skies with sanguine eyes.
Watch the musing of your peace.
And when the sunlight fades to starlight,
As the icy rock of life,
Sailing fearless, naked dreaming,
In a night once filled with strife.
Beaming broadly without candor,
Trailing seamless wishful flight.
Into the parlor of a demon
Dressed in playful pink and white.
Then the morning from the twilight
Leaving darkness to the night.
Demon, devil daring danger
Lifts the veil that hides your fright.

We veiled light in the cloak of night,
Vanity's id and super ego.
We wanted our names in limelight,
Praise our lifelong amigo.
Carnal lower mind,
with magnetism for sin.
We left truth far behind,
We let our egoes win.
But light can pierce through thick veils.
Truth and meekness go hand in hand.
On the meek creek wisdom sails.
In the end we turn into dust and sand.
Forget stage, applause, and glitter.
Just your breath, soul stripped of vainglory.
Too much ego is extremely bitter.
Pride before fall shouldn't be your story.
Without ego you aren't small.
Don't rely on it to feel grand.
Disrobe it in front of all.
God will reward and understand.
Disrobing the flesh of ancients
In a continuous hot pursuit
A growing embryo
Spreading into the ether
The ionized atmosphere
With contant cosmic outpouring
The last tenet
Of man's unbridled elite
Casting his instruments
Proding stardust for clues
Yet all analysis recedes
When a grand synthesis sweeps
A human life course
Forever resonating with the truth
In autumn as trees disrobe
Pirouetting falling leaves
Reveal their hidden glamour
Natures bare branch charm.

A lapidary epithet is thrown—
I shed the garment of the mirrors' gaze.
The adamantine echo mocking is known,
Where katabatic abyss may swallow maze.
A citrine pulse beats raw beneath the gown;
Phantosmia of forgotten rain is known—
On earth unopened, where the shadows drown,
By recognition, older than remembrance.
Where whimsey ceased its endless, dark harangue,
A single orchid lifts its silent throat—
Its sacrosanct sepals need no praise or clang,
As wisdom arrives, unargued and remote.
The hungry lower mind lays down its rod,
The higher mind drops waiting to be known.
Two rivers merge beneath a mighty God,
The hoary ouroboros yields its throne.
No longer self-devoured, a widening ring,
I drank transparency, not ecstasy—
Relieved at last from stained glass of the king,
The unhindered light breaks out—completely free.
It entered unoriginate, uncrowned,
Unannotated, asking to be seen.
No longer symbols, blossoms burst the ground—
The world’s own scripture, raw and epicene.
No grasping hand can hold the truth in place;
The fist that clutches only wears a glove.
The hand that opens finds a vacant space,
To hold the always-inviolate with love.
emotions roil ~
royal red, head
of humanity,
the second Adam —
painting of El Greco.
women at Jesus feet,
crowd of crowds
presses in.
the King of kings
prepared to be disrobed ~
a season of sin,
captured by a mind,
a talent inherent ~
redeeming all,
who might see,
and believe.
the gray cloud of men,
a monotone whirlwind,
yet for these,
a central figure,
passionate as a rose.
they know not what they do,
already forgiven,
all forsaken who do not
receive the precious gift
of calvary.
who were these soldiers who
tread the skin of the savior?
sunlight bows the executioner,
who will on that day of days
hit his knees in sorrowful praise,
for every knee shall bow
as the scriptures say.
for now he hangs over a tree
ready to hammer the blow
of humanity as the devil
howls with glee.
the Savior, upright scorned,
looks ever upward, ready
to be received, to go back home
whence He came, and prepare
a place for His bride.
eminence of royal red,
central figure of all trials.
the heavens opened up
to El Greco. we wait,
we cling to this blood wet
masterpiece!

Dandelion dance of ego blown away
Indigo trials within your lack of faith
Soul seeking spiritual known to pray
Ruby red redemption shown to save
Onyx times when one is lost or blind
Beckoning blues hazel hoping to find
Inner indigo strength of sound mind
Noble robe of repenting ritual’s time
Ghosting thoughts of fear of death
Entertaining hearts of spiritual wealth
Green Garden of Eden given again
Opal tears of joy in forgiven silver sin
Let the gaze fold, softly shut,
a moment held—
a slow tide of breath that enters and leaves.
Within you, gently,
not demanding or rushed,
who is left there to judge?
For in this stillness the past can hold no claim.
Is it your imagination,
or the drift of fallen leaves
like papery whispers outside the door?
They gather, dry and scattered,
smelling of dust and worry—
magnetic forms of the lower mind.
You have been here before,
cloaked in yesterday’s echoes,
ruminating on the creases of time
carved like ancient riverbeds
onto an aging, fragile face.
Look out to the unveiled skies
and see the light moving across
without apology—
this endless flow where truth is found,
and the ego’s frantic season
is stripped away as illusion.

Moral conscience flowing in the channel of time
drives the cognitive righteous urges to vent
in the surge of desires loaded with self-grime
through the dimness of wrapped enlightenment.
In the vacuity of the inner space
the pulse of time vibrates with the vanity of ego,
matching the rhythm of the conceited cadence
with the elusive intonation of eternity.
I invent the free-will tenets shaping the ego
in the realm of fantasized self-deception.
I traverse the slimy ground of cardinal muddle
searching for the light of intellect illumining the soul,
I travel unshackled out of the abyss of despair
on the inward journey through the epiphany layers,
perceive in the soul the flush of heavenly beacon,
lighting the corridor to the divine abode.
There I disrobe the ego shaped by complex equation
of existence to understand the meaning of life
in the scale of soul’s quotient of spiritual wisdom
when the portal opens to the sanctum of profound bliss.
On the seraphic shore of the transcendent soul,
the supreme designer makes the inner circuitry
of the innate magnetism of divine beauty,
mingles the concentrates of candid consciousness.
I am then the immutable hymn of the sanctified soul,
echo the harmonic awareness of truth.
The devout mantra intoned in the temple of my heart,
resonates with the spiritual symphony of sacred spirit.
The key to disrobing ego
so that divineness in us can grow
involves letting go of conceit
and allowing God’s light to glow.
As our fellow man we put first,
we’ll be letting go of our pride,
and by practicing self-denial,
we can lean to the righteous side.
It’s a matter of being humble,
being grateful and serving others.
Our love for God we can show
by loving our sisters and brothers.
Light represents reality, pure consciousness and divine truth,
the physical need for pleasure and happiness is a distraction,
a cloak of bliss preventing us to look deeper into our reality,
there is always a battle of our intellect and our lower mind,
desires, needs and ego- a magnetic pull for attachments and,
attractions to the physical world, leaving us anchored,
and bound to the material earthly wants forgetting the light,
because of the veil of bliss leaves us searching for the truth,
the big picture- it is a cosmic game of hide-and-seek,
that we must navigate through the distractions in our life,
and overcome that magnetic pull of desires and rediscover,
the hidden light to disrobe ego.
Ruth: It’s all my fault— my lost hat! How can you forgive me that!
Buddy: Quite an ego you have, miss, taking blame for stealing bliss!
Ruth: I’m contrite! Wasn’t right! My pillow is drenched every night!
Buddy: You make me ashamed, my dear, I chose to chase it— you hear?
Ruth: I wish you had let it go, but there was no way to know.
Buddy: My gallantry would you excuse, had I not worn my shoes?
Ruth: But why’d God take you away, ‘stead of by my side to stay!
Buddy: In Him there is only Light— He’s sad, too, to see our plight.
