My Undercover Lover

Baby you sitting there with a unique stare
Trust me blue isn't the color that fills the air
The two of us that we are
Shining like a bright star
Me looking at you from afar
We need to rediscover what lays dormant inside
When I'm with you it's all an amazing ride
Finding myself wanting to hover
Knowing all along I want you
To be my undercover lover

So we can discover
This life I see you loving me
As we break free to be
The kind of love you never find
One that takes a lifetime to unwind
Bound together in Christ
Always looking for the devil's heist
Might we grow in one another
So not to smother each other
Baby blue is not your color
Won't you be my undercover lover

Like sunlight brings warmth to the day
It's my words I must say
I pray things always stay this way
In our path allowing us to play
The way foreplay bounces off the day
In my heart, I believe our love so vast
We have what it takes to make it last
Blues, not your color
Come on baby won't you be
My undercover lover

The kind you find
You cant get off your mind
Baby our worlds intertwined
Our hearts open to redefine
How I want to keep you as all mine
To help me to discover
The kind of undercover lovers
That guide our pathway
To being happy and free
The way God intended us to be
