Disciple At the Master's Feet

At the feet of the Master there sat a disciple,
Looking straight to the eyes, learning the truth what lies;
Oh! The word from the Master where none can give,
The wisdom that discern, with the truth to live;
A teacher is he that show the right path for you and me.

At the feet of his Master for more than an hour,
He think of himself as a treasure hunter;
For the knowledge he gain is beyond the price what he retained,
 The gold are worthless, for what he have is the best;
The understanding he acquire, is wonderful beyond his desire.

He extoled, “There’s no one to compare,
Beyond our understanding you are there;
For what we are capable, teacher you are able.
As a candle which shines its light, you shared us the deepest insight;
Who would have known your struggle, yet, you gave your time and always available,
Teacher you are incredible”.

Our Savior Dear

Christ is the water and bread of life,
Poured out and broken for us to take part.
Everything denotes His love,
His perfect sacrifice for us.

His soul He offered unto God,
His life He surrendered on the cross.
He is the Christ, our exaltation prize,
Kind Savior and Redeemer mild.

His healing balm knows no end.
His service to the broken to mend.
Once to humbly lay His life by,
Now He reigns in heaven on high.

To be partakers of His fruits,
We must bear in us His life,
To tree from roots.
Herein are the gospel tools.

Christ the Lord who reigns on high,
Always let us be nearby Thy side.
We have come to earth to do our part.
Bestow now charity in our hearts.

With hearts and hands to serve Thine all,
We adhere our Savior dear, to Thy call.
Always to give and share in truth,
We love in Spirit, to make all things new.

Disciple of Desire

A fragrant flower left by the glamorous gods
For me to praise and panoramically ponder
A monolithic maiden rising from the pods
As each day my hopes grow fanatically fonder

Within the day she is the shimmering summer sun
Within the night she is the mated magnetic moon
Oh the wishful web that I have spontaneously spun
So I may wakefully wallow in my candescent cocoon

A congenial carnivorous Venus fly trap
Feverously floating toward her fallacious fumes
Euphorically embracing as her wings begin to flap
As I find myself in one of her tenebrous tombs

Left to rootly rot as I rapturously retire
For I shall be known as a disciple of desire.

Premium Member Disciple of Passion

The heavens glitter as trillions
of eternal stars crown the night.
And this bejeweled tiara;
twinkles, glints, and sparkles with light.

A gilded Moon reveals Her face;
the Goddess of enchanted beams.
And I dismiss rules and logic;
in favor of magic and dreams.

Safe in my bed, sleep severs strings;
allowing for untethered dreams.
And anxiety floats away,
on the echoes of trickling streams.

In my dreams, I get to explore
feelings of love and compassion.
And not as a puppet of lust;
but a disciple of passion.

Within this surreal slumber,
I'm able to do more than cope.
For sheltered from reality;
dreams expand the fringes of hope.

The Disciple

I am only the disciple
I follow my master's orders

I cry if he wants
I smile if he wants
I am sad if he wants
I am angry if he wants

Am at his orders
down his feet
the slave I am
and I am happy to be one

He who is up there
plays with me
without a break
He makes me love the impossible
fall for the noways

He makes me waiting
waiting for the I don't know
believing for the no trusts
trusting the nonliving
putting all my fate in all

He plays with me
just like a puppet
yes! i am his puppet
a marionette

Not my fault
if I can't be happy for long
not even yours
but his
He is the one
yes! the responsible of all
mixed happiness and sadness
sorrow, pain and joy

I wait for his orders and command
I am his

He should had done one thing
just one
making me seeing the original
not running for searching
not believing in impossibles
but fall in reality

But the shame and sadness is that I can't know my future
every time I think i am in a good way
but after a while, I am again in a mess
He, is the one who knows my future
what is waiting for me

But I wish I can see a sign
just one, for my destiny
but i am not enough good
just for seeing one

I think all I have to do is
to keep walking, smiling
and do my master's orders
and again as always
down balance on one's heart

I hate being hurt
being betrayed
being sad
being angry
being in a mess
being far
being a problem
being all

But if this is all my master's orders and wishes
then I will be, till the end of my Me.

Premium Member John - the Beloved Disciple

There was a man named John
who became Jesus best friend
he followed his pathway
going through every twist and bend

John left his father Zebedee
to follow the Jesus way
he went with Peter and James to Gethsemane
there to see Jesus go to pray

John’s mother was Salome
who requested John to sit at Jesus right side
in the new kingdom to come
was a real mark of her pride

John told many things of Jesus
throughout his gospel
acts of mercy and healing
words of love and comfort as well

Jesus great high priestly prayer
tells of praying for his own
John relates this in 17th of John
where God’s truth is clearly shown

John’s epistles were from his pen
teaching believers to live in love
as those who knew love divine
were clearly filled from above

John’s final piece of scripture
is God’s final revelation
showing mans final destiny
which God planned before creation

Premium Member What Does It Take To Be a Disciple

Father Christ Jesus listeners often got swept by His charismatic manner
Blurted their intention to follow Him
That does not mean they were ready to be true disciples of Father Christ Jesus
In this Gospel story
A man wanted to follow Father Christ but was deflated (let down) when Father Christ pointed out that He had no home
His followers would have none of the things considered necessary for a happy life
Following Jesus or Father Christ wouldn’t always be comfortable and that thought turned many away
For the second man in the story
The timing wasn’t right
He wanted to fulfill his duty to his dying father before setting out with Father Christ Jesus sets the agenda
Our duty is to obey Father Christ Jesus knew that looking back while plowing can ruin the job
He used that example to help the third man that we need to have a singleness of purpose to His disciple
We still have to make sacrifices to follow Father Christ Jesus
But He promises that the rewards will be worth much more

Premium Member Disciple of God

Disciplined in doing God's will is the dedicated disciple*
Imparted with wisdom toward prudent influence
Striving to be like His Master according to Scriptures
Compassionate and caring through Christ's clemency
Instilled with virtues by the Holy Spirit's illumination
Prayerful, faith-propped upon the Providence power
Led with love while learning and living in the Lord's light
Enabled to exemplify the Master's service-excellence.

*Luke 14:27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

Disciple

*********
A disciple put's
       His attributes'
Into action and
    His thing's
Into a power
          - Of -
      Commission
           But,
A missing disciple,
A plain man before God,
Persistently turn's to a life
                  Of omission
       And turn's things'
            To and fro

Disciple

Poet:  Ken Jordan
Poem:  Disciple
Edited by:  Sparkle Jordan
written:  October/2014

I am
a living
Spirit,

from the
infinite
sky -

I stand
in
Solitude,

and
Holy Peace,

between
the
spaces,
of
time -

I Am that
 "Gap"

between
a
sunbeam

of
rays -

I Am
the hush
of
silence,

that lull
In
the storm -

I Am
the pulse
and
flow

of
rolling rivers,

that run
to wed

the
Infinite Sea -

My Heart
 and
Soul,

surrender
to
the breath

of the
Great Spirit -

I walk
in
the light,

of His
Divine
illumination,

that beams
out
from
heaven.

I AM

a
Disciple,

a
Messenger,

from
the
Most High -

 A living
Spirit,

the Universe -

A demonness turned disciple of a goddess,
Born in a form to show my true prowess
As well as learning to embrace my darkness.
I too am evolving into a cosmic enchantress.

Is it wrong to think of Christ as ludicrous?
Did he laugh at jokes, and smile,
and sing hearty songs
and need to brush his teeth?
Was he not made like us, save for sin?

It is after Easter,
and though I have nothing yet,
he has caught and cooked some fish,
and that without a net.
And I am laughing with him.

Disciple Shadow

Though live ,no one cares to see.
For I am the shadow to be .
  Always around .
Never in sky, just on ground .
    A light shade .
Ready to vanish but never fade.
The best to be is black .
Live in light ,die in dark .
The ultimate disciple to follow .
         Every where and gallow .
For I am nothing with out you .
Just black ,never red nor blue.

I Am Disciple of God

He is truth, his wisdom is good,
Learning breaks very hard wood.
Motherhood of his ever gives love,
Fatherhood is lovely, trust is glove.
Before him I do nod,
I am disciple of God.

I feel truth is in point he is ocean,
By his command time is in motion.
Lotion of his wisdom heals mind,
Our eternal father is very kind.
By grace smiles sod,
I am disciple of God.

No one is full in material world,
By his wisdom now I am furled.
He is full of wisdom nice teacher,
God is only our Super Preacher.
I am new ripen pod
I am disciple of God.

Body is my house body is a car,
I am soul I am light I drive it far.
Easily vices cannot motivate me,
I do not fall in greed danger I see.
I carry wisdom rod,
I am disciple of God.

I do love peace; I do not like war,
In father’s lap I like to play more,
Pouring wisdom he does dandle,
Candle I light, fragrant is sandal.
Positive is each odd,
I am disciple of God.

I am a peaceful soul, peace power,
In his garden I am eternal flower.
I am point in form in golden light,
Hour to hour I glow very bright.
Wisdom does a prod,
I am disciple of God.

Splendour of his wisdom is in trust,
Following father we gain this must.
Dust shines in light it becomes gold,
God gives us boon in unlimited fold
My life here is trod,
I am disciple of God.

Senseless

Words of no profit,
Chitchat and debate
worth no participate!
Rather saving the lost,

Edifying the synagogue.
It’s the beast works
For men to mine;
Strifes among themselves,

Diverting the energies
And thinking of disciples
Thousand miles away,
Away from the way,

from what to be acted.
Never forget HE existed,
Existed before thickheaded tail.
The tail never wins at all!

Life, the race across the lake,
Philosophy of man starts
Invading the beliefs of the temple
With false teachings.

Dogmatic mentalities an’ hard cores
Result no spiritual growth.
Be diligent in study of HIS words;
The Truth!
