Premium Member Delicacy In Pain

Her reveries slant the compass of time: 1970s. Minefields now roar through blurred visions. She retreats into dots of space to live in the moment, as emotions fling to a gray sky. While curtains blow unceasingly, hours freeze. Again, love passes; leaves, while a young wife’s heart crushes in tears.

bouyant clouds wander
in the expanse of night time
to gather shadows

There is delicacy in pain. Letters from Nam change the dark of winter to a glitter of December lights. As she sets the table, the flaming candle waxes through a kitchen filled with sweets and almonds . He is the breath touching musical tones in the quiet rhythm where carols are sung together. Feeling his presence,
she regales in a lone dance of fond remembering.

pines in crimson gold
waltz across the starlight
etching mellow notes

Somehow, a woman begins to droop beside a half-closed window. In the cold of duskfall, she longs
for her soldier husband, quietly. Then wiping her cheeks, she is refreshed by those who need her, now. In a joyful play with daughter and son, Aunt Jamie finds her true north. Such is the luster of more tomorrows,

moon glimmers, dust fades
a balm of healing renews
fresh discoveries

Premium Member Delicacy of Leaves

Crash! Bang! Poof! The angry leaves assault my roof
My canine friend turns end to end, and cries out with a woof
I grab my rake and take a break, enjoying autumn's show
No haste to battle Zephyr's breath, with such a fine tableau

Then a pause and silence falls, and time slows to a crawl
Molecules of red and gold in fractal loops enthrall
Leafy fingers stroke my brow, a delicate caress
Cares and worries leave my mind and harried thoughts regress

A second seems forever as I'm lost in reverie
A timeless crystal moment of deep serenity
Then I stir, my eyes unblur and I roll up my sleeves
I put my mind in focus, and begin to rake the leaves

Delicacy

With airy tread your footfall makes no sound
though crackling leaves bestrew the frozen ground,
the lightness of your voice floats on the breeze,
its delicacy sets my soul at ease.
A white-flecked silence hovers o’er the croft
as echoes perish, snowfall settles soft.
Weightless and peripheral you flitter,
‘twixt flakes, and the robin’s cheerful twitter.
The treasures of the world are ours to hold,
to cherish and to share as they unfold.
You pass, as gentle as a soft spring rain,
and I enjoy your beauty once again!

Music

The world has its own wonders,
The stars up there twinkle,
The sun shines bright,
The moon in the night sky glows,
Like the bloom in the flowers in a row.
All is beautiful, everything fits best,
But the sound of you pierces through my chest.

I wonder how it remains unnoticed,
The music of the little things,
The beauty of its existence,
How pretty it sounds,
Your voices' delicacy.
Like a thin string it seems,
But emboldened enough to fulfill all its dreams.

Not much to say but lot to hear,
The soft music you utter,
It brightens the day mesmerises the heart,
The waves collide and create a new spark.
I am here all alone,
Waiting for that music to come home,
To fill me with joy and dance with me,
The music in your voice is nothing short of melody.

Premium Member A Delicacy to Delight the Most Discriminating Pig

Porky Pig once stopped by my butcher shoppe
Pig was not looking for any old slop
        He searched high and low
        Meat tasted like crow
'Please, Elmer, one pound of strings from your mop’

Premium Member Flies Is a Delicacy For Me

If flies in our sleep is meat
Ketchup-ing all we can eat,
But I’m warning you, you have to be fast.
Grab a plate quickly, when the die is cast.
If you want nutrition to fully last,
You can season it with brown sage and rice.
Cook it in the oven and bake it twice.
You have a delicate stomach? That is sweet.
Delicacy is dark anthropoid meat.
Consuming Insects is a real blast.
If you eat it slow, it will surely last.
Sprinkle on the top some tiny fried rice.
Delicately salted, it tastes really nice
Let’s have spiders, flies, and roaches at any price.

Trotters: a Very Dangerous Delicacy

Trotters: A Very Dangerous Delicacy!

Trotters and knuckle bones
Is a rare meal, real treat.
Cordon Bleau of repute
Will moan of cooking time-
Simmering that last eternity,
And the massive power bill
That hits below the belt!
But popular myth attached
To the slimy delicacy
With soup thick and slippery
And salty: Aphrodisiac.
But, one thing for sure;
Once you kiss your girlfriend
Prepare for the sweet woe
Of sleeping away from home,
With slimy soup on your lips
To her, you’ll stick forever!

Premium Member Dilbert Dung Beetles Delicacy

Mr. Camel is fascinated by his friend Dilbert Dung Beetle’s diet.
He thinks eating up excrement, feces and manure is a riot.
It is tasty! Delicious! You should try a salty elephant pie!
Dilbert Dung Beetle says. You would love it if you gave it a try!

Mr. Camel watches Dilbert dig in, gulping down gobs of the stuff.
He thinks it must have a weird smell, but Dilbert can’t get enough.
You might sample a tiny bit Dilbert says, it is delicious you see!
Mr. Camel shakes his head and says “Sorry, it does not appeal to me.”

Delicacy Swinging

O thy beauty
So gentle!
Grazing the breeze as you
Sway indolently among its
Freshness…
O thy beauty
So gentle!
Dancing on the rhythm as you
Create your own symphony,
Noblesse…
O thy beauty
So gentle!
Descending leisurely as you
Comfort the air with your
Caress…
O thy beauty
So gentle!
Falling leaf of autumn,
More than words can
Express...

Premium Member Feasting On Poetry Ultimate Delicacy

Today’s poem is a juicy pork chop
The next one that skates by is a foppish cod fish
Each delicacy and dessert separate in their own way
Living their own truths.

Yesterday’s poems were chocked with
Faeries and dainty crisp white daisies
I have less control of this than of myself
They prance to their own harps

All I know is if I do not capture it
When it flits by in its gliding pretty pattern
it has no motivation to return.
I have yet to retrieve a wild missive
Which I neglected to pay attention to yesterday

Premium Member Gluttony

Longing for delicacy
Is no fault
We all like delicious and tasty food
Delicacy is also a style of life
An art of life
A variety of life
It's speciality and essence
Increase appetite and pleasure
A relaxation of life
But please don't forget
The secret danger of sugar, salt and oil in seasoning
Salt is mixed with sugar
Sugar replaces Ajinomotor in use
Oil is used abundantly in frying
An extra will be harmful to sickly people
Your taste buds are not sensitive or wiser enough
For man's tricks
Are they

Delicacy of the Soul

There she is standing,
Standing like heavenly statue,
A statue beautified by pure gold,
Gold from heavenly treasury.

She smiles gorgeously carrying away all the pain in my heart,
Again, she smiles exquisitely and my soul is carried away,
Carried away into the realms of true romance,
Romance that scarcely dwells in infatuation.

She brings her hand to shake mine,
Mine in hers and they rest into each peacefully,
The warmth in her palms,
The softness of her paws,
Brings a total rare strength in my bones.

She is lovely beyond measure,
Her charms are beyond pleasure,
She worthy than a golden treasure,
She isn’t for leisure,
But for a lifetime joy.

She is the delicacy of my soul.
