Best Defying Poems

With hair ablaze
a jester unconfined.
I scoffed at the mundane 
its life declined.
My wardrobe 
a riot
a rhapsody bold.
Mismatched socks my standard 
stories untold.

In classrooms of tedium 
rules I'd defy
Grasping forbidden knowledge 
'neath watchful sky.
Craving for wisdom in 
esoteric wells.
Chased squirrels with saws 
casting fanciful spells!

Years have passed since I buried you
beneath green grasses drenched with dew;

I placed the blossoms, one by one,
a blanket for my only son,

you, my heart's flower, blooming fair,
a mother's rose, uniquely rare.

The bitter grief bubbles inside,
rolling hot waves, a searing tide,

dark desperate, wrenching prayers,
sharp, shattered...

bliss bursts on our skin,
furrowing each node,
played out as an ode.

Vaporised presence
ignites love's incense,
astride God's bliss beat,
vibrant head to feet.

Thus simply present
in this joy current,
tingle renewal
is continual.

Dance of bliss delight
at play, day and night,
churns to birth nectar,
piercing each vector.

Borne of cosmic drum,
magnetic bliss...
