Defying Fate Conversation With a Friend

In my pocket
I don't cry as much as I used to
I'm well dimensioned
If I'm not getting beaten
or I don't have to hear
the Screaming
or the Crying
or the Yelling
I'm a lighter shade of brown
Expanding knowledge
Grass Meadows
Clear Water
Fish Swimming
A house of sky Blue with a Red barn
all trimmed in white
Hands holding supporting hands
I am told the light is brightening
leading to understanding
I am here to Create
They can not kill me
nor those who are open
to defying fate
