Premium Member Vines Slowly Crawl

Life was the wing that gave them flight
as they soared ever so high
now death is the darkness of their plight
 where the wind mournfully sighs

Dry bones bound by eternity's chain
rest serenely 'neath tall shade trees
where dreams have decayed with the leafy debris
and silence is all that remains

 Headstones stand as sentinels
 Along the tree lined path
Sadness clings to the overgrown vines
 in the timeless aftermath

Within the muted reverence of this place
the overgrown vines seem to speak
with a voice that will oft embrace
 the departed souls mystique

 When one sentinel falls
 the others will stand tall
Whispering secrets to the great beyond
 as the vines slowly crawl

I Crawl Through the Thicket

I crawl through the thicket

O’er windswept conclusions a’ mist in the air
In fragrance that comes to my heart so aware
Of sundrenched magnolia beneath empty shade
To steal every ounce of your caring displayed
I touch to the heavens a wing and a prayer
Belief in the joy that is felt everywhere
When oceans fall further than all eyes can see
This love will eternally find you from me

When clouds of confetti, the song of the dove
The sweetest rendition of musical love
Does float on the breezes of everyday flow
A’ twisting and turning until it can show
Those mountains of glory that stand in the way
Exceeding the plan that we set forth this day
Can not comprehend what my pure love will do
No matter the hurdle, I send it to you

Since dawn hath approached in a place before time
So simple the earth as our life does unwind
No flowers of blossom still yet find the ground
A desolate nature lies lost in its sound
Lone rivers of feelings that wander so free
O’er rain cast endeavors drop life from the sea
When all that is new shines a star up above
The light of its journey shall bring you my love

From deserts of sand to a sandy white shore
The pain shall be nothing each day I endure
I crawl through the thicket, my hands and my knees
If only a moment your sweet life to please
No valleys of darkness so endless and deep
Nor rock scattered caverns through which I do creep
Shall keep me from finding the pathway to you
To bring you a love that forever is true

Crawl Into Me

Scattering into broken pieces
Of debris,
My life has become a black painting
Of nothingness,

Within myself I see,
 You concealing me,
I feel droplets of misery
Crawling into me, to simply become…
Me…

I wonder if my tears
Could water the eternal desiccation,
That fills my life with hopelessness…
When will “I” reappear?

Nothing but this undying pain
Remains,
The memories I thought would
Never die…
Have killed the happiness…
And have gone away,

Like eternity,
My sorrowfulness is my days,
Is my dreams, is my prevailing thoughts, is
 Everything that creates my life…
It’s me…

Rage flows in my veins,
Like boiling blood;
I’ve become an explosion
Of resentment…
Like a volcano of red, burning hatred,

All these particles of my sorrow,
Crawl into me,
Triggering a reflection
Of the person I don’t want to be…
The Me in me…

Crawl into me…
The person I was,
The person that you were…
The person I want you and me to be…

“Farah,”
The calling of my name revived me
From talking to my shadow,
“Farah, go to sleep...You have school tomorrow!”
My mom yelled…

Before switching off the lights,
I glanced at my shadow again
With tears in my eyes,
And quietly muttered,

“Crawl into me...”

Premium Member After the Pub Crawl

The glass was half empty until he smashed it on the room divider

		Tequila Sunrise on the wall

Shattered the pieces lay on the ground when he walked on his shards

		Barefoot floored surrender

A bitter taste of guilt as he wretched his way to the bathroom sink

		Unplugged mosaic of pain

The lipstick kiss lingered on the mirror but her toothbrush was gone

		Message from a bottle

Staggered in defeat he stumbled on slurred words of another promise

		Twisted spluttered echoes

As he rinsed his tongue with mouthwash more lies mourned his loss

		Prolonged rapid suicide

It was the kindest thing she would ever do for the wasted drunkard

		Tough unrequited love

Crawl, Paul

A young, macho spider named Paul
Imagined himself ten feet tall.
At friend's warnings he sneezed--
Said he'd crawl where he pleased.
Now Paul's just a stain on the wall.

A Spider Will Crawl On the Floor

A spider will crawl on the floor

And often will stop at a door;

I think that he's waiting

And maybe debating

On whether he wants something more.

Make Us Crawl, We Make You Burn

Carry over
The sky is turned red
With dementia on hands
All we ever did was taking an order
Little for much
As river turns blood
We drank from your sin's
Now blame us to see the stars tonight
Different perspectives
I know is so confusing
But even though we ever fought
We dare to look at you again

While the sunset fall
We share the moon so cold
Hitting the walls
The sky is still dark
Prayers keep praising
Even though we still crawl

Welcome
The night is young
Sacrifice us
We have come so far yet so close
The years took on us
Upon the remains
Yet so uneasy
Martyr might be the key
Curses while the witch burn
The witch you never exposed
You or me?
This time I refuse
No one will ever
Everyone always do
I could explain a thousand times
I didn't meant to carry over the world
Mountains so high
The candles so far
Yet the only hope we all have
Simply crawl
The time will come

While the sunset fall
We share the moon so cold
Hitting the walls
The sky is still dark
Prayers keep praising
Even though we still crawl
With blood on our hands
Sins on our backs
Cling to us
While we still on the floor
Dragging to you
Our only hope
Please bury us alive
Tonight
The sun
Will never rise tomorrow
Never again

I know I did so wrong
Even though we fell
The mountains
So high above
While we are set unknown
Hope the sky
Will come for us
Because we always served
But now
We are set unknown
Dusk will burn
Red
Tonight
The ice will melt
For a future
So much far away
A future we don't belong
A day we saw drown
We made this
We suffer it
We must pay in flames.

Waiting For the Day Love Floats My Way

Waiting for the day love floats my way
Hoping for one that is here to play
So many gone by in the past
The further it seems I have to cast
Looking for love that won't surpass
One that can fly without having to crash

Giving it my all
Really wanting to hear the right call
Taking my time being sure not to fall
tearing down this massive wall
That has things coming to a crawl
I'm in it for the long haul
Breaking through this windfall
Plunging forward wanting to recall
A love that stands ten feet tall

One that leads straight for fun
That won't make us feel under the gun
Something beautiful that feels like we have won
Our eyes wide open
Making sure I am scoping
All the opportunities that I have awoken
Hoping the next lady can see
How much my love flows free

That will help us define
A love that will fall right in time
One that I can keep as all mine
A woman who is kind that wants to find
That thrill that makes time stand still
Making us both feel like this is the real deal
Love that brings stars to our eyes
That looks like a beautiful sunrise

When Eyes Crawl ...

in words
         grace falls
                     from the page

falling down for quite some time
                every soft silence is falling
                        every flying dream
falls swiftly down

every enjambment
               every word
                       every note
falls down
to
   your feet

where the beat
           lifts it up

                           again

where you dance
                 it up

                           again

and feel your heart

                           again

where you lift your eyes
from the mud to the skies
looking like a fallen angel or a dirty saint

seeing the words
in the clouds and the rain
in the stars and galaxies filled with dust and fire
in the wars of men and the gathering of moths
in the sweetest honey mead and your broken guitar
in the sea and the wind and the shadows of the street
in the secret in your eyes

where you

                       see the spaces

                                     where my pen gently aches

Crawl Into a Hole

Broken, betrayed
A hole inside.
this is why
I always hide.

Afraid to hurt
And hurt again.
Love in life?
Where's that been.

No such thing
In this world.
All this life
That it hurls.

All I want;
To walk away.
From this world
I want to stray.

Not caring
Where i go.
Even death
In a hole.

Thats sounds
Nice compared to this.
Love he had,
He had insisted.

But where's the love
When he struck.
A blow in head
'Cause he's drunk.

No one cares.
Where i go.
I may as well
Crawl in a hole.

Die inside
A heartless heart.
Betrayed by him
from the start.

Let me die
A peaceful death.
Hurt inside
Is all thats left.

To die this day
Would be the best.
death in mind
Is all i quest.;

So let me die
This lonely day.
So the pain
will never stay....

Crawl Back Inside Your Mum

Political correctness because we can’t be offended
We want freedom because freedom is splendid
Speaking my mind and you don’t like it,
oh and you cry too I am delighted
issues in your head
have you running and hiding
misuse what I said
now I’m ammo providing

Equality is for those equally qualified
watching the stupid as they forever multiply
Ignorant know-it-alls
who never know they are fools
only the stupid ones
make the rest miserable
Too dumb to understand
they are dumb individuals
Growing self belief
they are performing rare miracles
Professional specialists
the capacity minimal
Or special professionals
you can openly ridicule

selectively make it about gender or race
when I singled you out and said it straight to your face
if you did what you did it’s about nobody else
but you need the herd to share it out away from your self
suits you to group with the advantage it sells
to turn all traditional when the reward offers Hell
equality says all the women fight wars
while men stay at home becoming Mr. Indoors
painting their beard on just like your eyebrows are flawed
until a man becomes Queen and the princess is called George
the ladies build buildings in the rain when it pours
telling mix gender people no one cares about yours
gays wanting marriage from a religion so savage
why want religious rights when all they cause you is damage
Faith is a football team you support but don’t challenge
they never win cups or leagues no skill is apparent
supporters of Brexit getting labelled like Trump
remain make a point in these years always to slump
Brexit is the long term but you’re blind to the sun
and for all those I upset look a finger just one
sit on my finger, you’ll have some fabulous fun
if you don’t like offence go crawl back inside your mum!
I’ll come and visit you later I’ll be shouting I’m done
As she comes around the mountain and collapses all numb!
I’m the bloke who will poke
It’s a your mother joke

Art Crawl In Abu Dhabi

We traveled,
Without a single word.
Left abroad, as all things that pass.
We were the only thing that furnished the space around us.

Without a single word.
We partook in sights that denounced us as things.
We soared as the clouds that journey through the sky.

We were the only things kept afloat.
An oasis in the desert of pillows where we rested our head.
Pleasant. Calm.
As we snorkeled into a deep sleep.

We partook in sights that denounced us as objects.
Faraway into the tourism which quinched our thirst.
As we never left our seat in the voyage of each other's eyes.

Without a single word.
We traveled.

Crawl

I would like to crawl to times past with you.
To all times before today.
Happy, Sad, Easy, even things we would rather forget.
I would crawl for all these things.
Miles, Hours, Weeks on hands and knees.
Till my soul lay bare.
For the chance to live all these things to do so would be worth all the time left.
I would like to Crawl to future times.
To times how I would like to see them.
Future smiles, touches, laughs.
Future tears, future years.
Yes I would crawl, Til bones laid bare and my lifes river nourishes the very
ground which grinds me down.
To crawl forward to defy all the worlds logic is absurd.
Yes crawl forward I would for all their logic is theory and what I know is true.
So crawl forward is what I must do.
To crawl to you today would be the last of these tasks.
The fields are wide and rivers deep.
Mountains high from peak to peak.
For this chance I would prevail.
To lay at your feet and the eyes of the world.
Would you leave me there lay?
Or assist me in your own loving way?
Would you greet me with a snear and a hiss.
Or lay my head on your chest and greet me with a kiss.
IN your sunlight is where I would stay.
Letting it warm all that is exposed By the travels undertaken.
My body, my mind, and my soul.
And if it's your shadow as you walk away.
Glimpse back as all goes grey.
Yes today I would like to crawl

How To Crawl

Alone in the dark again,
No one I can call friend.
I am naked my soul is bared,
I wonder if anyone ever cared.
People smile at me as I go down the street,
But all I can do is frown at those I meet.
There are no happy thoughts left to think...
I am standing on the brink...
Of a pain which I cannot dispel,
It is a place I have grown to know well.
If there is any hope at all, it lies with you,
Only you can pull my soul through.
Don't give up on me...
Hold tightly to me...
Don't let me fall...
For I have forgotten how to crawl.
My way out of the abyss,
The sight of your face used to bring me bliss.
Now I am surrounded by dark and evil things,
It is demons the darkness brings.
I am begging you help me out of this place,
Its horrors I can no longer face.
Don't give up on me...
Hold tightly to me...
Don't let me fall...
For I have forgotten how to crawl.
