Premium Member Count On You

When my world collapses
And I'm feeling blue
When the chips are down
Can I count on you

Will you stand by me
And help ease my pain
Will you walk with me
Through fire and rain

Will you stay with me
When the world turns away
And hold my hand
Help me find my way

When the dark clouds come
And the sun don't shine
When the rain starts falling
Will you still be mine

If I lose it all
That I can no longer cope
Will you smile at me
And bring me hope

If I find my dreams
Have all turned out wrong
So that I must leave
Will you come along

When the tide arrives
As I stand in harm's way
Will you be my support
That I do not sway

We will walk through this world
With our heads held high
While our hearts reach out
And touch the sky

We will stand as one
With a love sublime
We will love forever
Until the end of time.

Count On It

count on it...

that numbers made the world
we came to believe
after all ten digits
long ago ran out
and we stuck our toes into the fray
to count and be counted anyway

and they too ran out
a foot at a time
and numbers became stuck to
our rulers feet or by meter,
our sole, soul repeater

then we counted awhile,
and soon wired some beads
to a wooden frame
'cause, unconsciously we knew
it'd never be the same

and abacuses counted because
Sumerians knew the power of
columns of orders of magnitude to
give counting a certain, amplitude

and soon balances were forged and
everything compared to something else -
grain to sheep,
sheep to amphora,
amphora to slaves,
slaves to children
children to wives
neighbors lives to our own lives

covetousness counted as
a capital idea
long before Adam Smith
or any form of mercantilism
came to bear witness on a weakness of man

yet who can count on power
is there a conversion factor
that shows more or less
that less is more than some detractor

what's the ratio of
desire to need to
redemption to volition to
love to life -
there's a number of ways to count it

Change, the One Thing You Can Count On

Change, the One Thing You Can Count On…

                                          Peace
                                    Solace Serenity
                             Calming Chiming Soothing
                      Symbiosis Unity Dissidence Discord
                        Disturbing Tormenting Conflicting
                                  Foreboding Vexing
                                          Chaos

Numbers Count On Themselves

Numbers Count On Themselves

3’s make love in the open
Twist with trees that turn from Winter
Count on music to reveal Spring
Several 7’s take lessons on how to Jitterbug
They disco with 6’s by the river to keep in step
Zero’s boat house is open for business
Even ants look for action
Reason to leave the house
 4’s step in with them
For the common good
For hours at a time, for whiskey and a song
The audience breaks into applause
8’s broke into fractions on the floor (Which is against the law)
7’s did illegal sambas (Knowing it was wrong)
Cops stepped in to stop this numbers game
Questionable digits and their issues are cause for inquisitions
Zero, the owner of the boat house business
Had no power in this matter
8’s and 7’s, embarrassed, reduced by more demotion
Showed no emotion as they left the show
Taken off to jail for infractions of the fraction code
There is nothing wrong with any number
They all wish to rise above themselves
To make a better future for their children
Who start out like 1’s like everyone else
Zero never had a business plan or house
When he started out
We all began as little 1’s without a clue
Counting on ourselves to get us through
I guess you could say that is a plus
The calculus of us

You Can Count On Me

I'll stand by him through thick and thin,
because we have the same blood under our skin,
Too many things in this world come and go,
I want this to be real, not just for show.

Before life pulled us apart,
now its time for a new start.
He moved out and we had a big age difference,
now he is back home and I've loved it ever since.

I'm starting to get to know him and what he is about,
now its hard to imagine life without.
He surprised me in so many different ways,
it is hard to put in just one phrase.

He is so talented and gifted,
I just wish his spirits could be uplifted.
If he just could see what he is capable of,
he could do anything that he loves.

No matter what his decision is, its right,
if someone says otherwise, I'll stand by his side and fight.
Lately for him it has been a bumpy ride,
but it doesn't matter, I'll be by his side.

In this life we all need at least one person we can count on,
to be there through the night and stay til dawn.
I wish he would count on me and not another.
I wish he could see that he can count on his brother.

Think About It You Can Count On

Think about it you can count on your mom and dad to take care of you,but is both
parents there

The bus driver is supposed to pick you up for school but what if he didn't come

Waking up tomorrow but tomorrow isn't promised today

Cars to stop at a red light but some intoxicated, high, insane person might not
want to stop

What I'm saying is don't count on anyone but yourself

I Count On Your Love

Italian sonnet

How deep thy love for me, so very broad
One cannot miss the peace that calms the eyes.
With grace and joy and patience, I surmise
Thy sweet love’s a virtue, I can applaud.
The love I offer thee is surely flawed,
Sincere but juvenile, a compromise.
Might I grow in love fed by one so wise?
I count on thee, my lovely goldenrod.

Thine is the flower my love needs to mature
to help me emulate thine eloquence.
Bright goldenrod, thy medicine can cure
raw jealousy and pride and reticence
which stay my feelings, make me insecure.
Thy hand I take to gain my confidence.

You can count on your fingers
You can count on your toes
You count all the petals
On a newly blossomed rose
You can count on an abacus
You can count apples on a tree
But, most of all
You can always count on me

You can call on a phone
Using a mobile or land line
You can call for a pizza
They deliver all the time
You can call for a recount
You can even call on your PC
But, if there’s anything you need
You can always call on me

You can travel by boat or plane
You can travel by car
You can travel locally
Or you can travel away far
You can travel around the world
You can travel anywhere
But, wherever your travels take you
I can always travel there

You can find yourself a spouse
You can have a couple of kids
You can marry the church
Like Sister Teresa did
You can wed the same sex
Even if others think it’s bad
But, no matter what you do
I’ll always be your proud Dad

"count On Yourself"

Sometimes in life we put people on a high place..
Only to be let down and watch them fall from grace..
We should not hold them in this regard..
It only makes our love for them oh so hard..
Lessons learned and understood..
No one is perfect as we wish we could..
So dust ourselves off, get back in the game..
Count on yourself first and expect the same..
Never to old to turn a page, never to late
to learn at this age..
So when the rain comes down and your not sure what to do..
Be smart take an umbrella, and count on you..

Count On Thin

Calorie counting
Overly aggressive
Understated
Never satisfied
Thickly disgusted

Oppositionally
Nervous

Ticking time bomb
Heaving
In secret
Now a days

Count On Me

If i could catch the raindbow
I would do it just for you,
And share with you its beauty
On the days that you're feeling gloomy

If I could build a mountain
For us to roam
A place to find your serenity of your own
And a place to be alone.

If I could take your problems
I would toos them in the sea
But all these things I'm finding
Are impossible for me.

I cannot build a mountain
Or catch a rainbow sky
But let me be we know the best
A friend that always be there for the rest

Don’t walk out on me. You can count on me.
Sometimes I go astray, go and play the fool
But I won’t walk away; I can’t be that cruel.
I won’t walk out on us. I won’t walk out on you.
Don’t walk out on me.

Don’t lose faith in me. You can count on me.
I’m sure I’ll make mistakes, maybe cause offense,
But I’ll do what it takes to make amends.
I won’t lose faith in us. I won’t lose faith in you.
Don’t lose faith in me.

Don’t give up on me. You can count on me.
I may stumble and fall, but I’ll get back up.
I’ll give you my all, and I won’t give up.
I won’t give up on us. I won’t give up on you.
Don’t give up on me.

Don’t abandon me. You can count on me.
Sometimes I make a scene, like some drama queen.
I man say some things I don’t really mean.
I won’t abandon us. I won’t abandon you.
Don’t abandon me.

Chorus
You can count on me. Don’t lose faith in me!
You can count on me. Don’t give up on me!
You can count on me. Don’t abandon me!
You can count on me. You can count on me. Don’t walk out on me!

Can I Count On You

Can I count on you, Lord
Before the day is through
When I am feeling down
I know it hurts you, too.

I am struggling through life
Feel I am by myself
Dealing with so much strife.

When I am aimlessly wandering,
Trying to find peace, will you be
The one for me to help me find it, all tension
Finally released from me.

Darkness I have seen around me.
I need you to guide me, for you are
The radiant light that shines down
On me and you're not afar.

I know the time is getting near
Help me to be ready, here waiting for you.
To take me to my home above,
To celebrate with ones I love.

So what I am asking, is can I count on you,
To help me make it through?
For the time is short, I want to be with you.

I Know That I Can Count On You

Many things have been told
By both people weak and bold
I know that one broken promise
Will never change the past
Crying out to you is all
The only thing that I can do before I fall
Yet there is an arm that reaches out
My name is the only thing it shouts
I grab hold and pull up strong
Trusting you was never wrong
Holding on is the only thing I can do
Because I know that I can count on you...
