Such Is Life

they tried to destroy my whole being. my oppressors were far stronger then me.
they torture me as a child, yes i was only twelve-years olded, but a young lion cub
who's mother was brutally gunned down by mobsters and villans.

yes, i was left for the fouls of the earth to ravish my torned being. yet, there was a power
so
great amd massive that i was taken to a horrendous place to wax in strength and wisdom. i
was place in a haven of jackels, knaves, scoundrels, murder, and thieves roamed freely. i
was'nt tainted by such ruthlessness, because i was a proper child of the Living God.

yet i did behold the tragic acts of cruelty and deeds of viciousness, but it stayed from my
being. often times i question He who created all things, as to why was i expose to such evil
andwhy was i robbed of my nest as a child.,

He merely embraced me and told me that i had to teach, encourage, be a witness of His un-
conditional love, mercies, and grace. as the river of jordan streamed from my tiny marble
twin pearl brown-eyes, His kissed me and told me that this too will pass my beloveth son.

now i am this mighty, but gentle Lion Of Judah that has all might and power at my beckening
call if need be. i have learned the patience of life in order that life can be preserved for those
who have travel the valley as i did. we have overcome in order that those who have yet to be
born into this life of deception, treachery, and greed, will know that they have a purpose and
will be protected from the ills of the blindness and folly of irresponsible beingss that do
partake of the breath of life with no regard for life. yes, even those we must forgive and not
be as they are. i suffered and i overcame. such is life, as my friend once said.

You Can Count On Me

I'll stand by him through thick and thin,
because we have the same blood under our skin,
Too many things in this world come and go,
I want this to be real, not just for show.

Before life pulled us apart,
now its time for a new start.
He moved out and we had a big age difference,
now he is back home and I've loved it ever since.

I'm starting to get to know him and what he is about,
now its hard to imagine life without.
He surprised me in so many different ways,
it is hard to put in just one phrase.

He is so talented and gifted,
I just wish his spirits could be uplifted.
If he just could see what he is capable of,
he could do anything that he loves.

No matter what his decision is, its right,
if someone says otherwise, I'll stand by his side and fight.
Lately for him it has been a bumpy ride,
but it doesn't matter, I'll be by his side.

In this life we all need at least one person we can count on,
to be there through the night and stay til dawn.
I wish he would count on me and not another.
I wish he could see that he can count on his brother.

Speechless

i wish i had the softest words , to take away your pain,
To offer you a bit of peace , but death is not this way.

know that all your tears and hugs and sad goodbyes.
They have all been heard by loved ones in the sky.

And know that all his friends, who love this man like you.
they have all remembering memories they share too.

BROTHER...
Try not to dwell to long on the life that has been lost...
but carry in your heart always... the love his life has brought.

IN MEMORY OF POPS

I'Ve Got To Find My Brothers

I’VE GOT TO FIND MY BROTHERS

I’ve got to find my brothers
I feel my life won’t be complete
Until I meet my birth mother
 I can hardly eat

Traveled back to the place I was born
I longed for this day
Only to be torn
My mother had passed away

Read the next of kin
Call him up and pass begin
I found my brothers
Feel my heart with joy
Picture of my mother
With all the boys

Learned about my father
And the shorts corner
A whole new family to meet
Now my life is complete.

Now I have my brothers
And memories of my mother and father
