Best Corp Poems
He'd swindle fate, but they bought in
protected by a badge' restraint,
the pusher, in a ring, his nose
would deal with any dealing's pose!
So "sell for us" ~ the deputy's roll
& County Attorney "in the know!"
The sentence lightened, they'd absorb,
"be on our team" ~ part of the corp!
So down to earth, one jury's word
would ridicule this motion serve,
and if your caught, legal reserve
is always waiting ~ why lose nerve!
It's open season, dope's the word,
the Deputy's fix, with license lured
by silence that is kept observed ~
it's who you are, not what occurred!
He's Sheriff now ~ this bridging's game
took him uphill ~ crimes not to blame,
see now if justice could disdain,
his uniform speaks ~ what's in it . . . . feigns!

Since he first walked, he made the outdoors his
while at home, paternal love was shown with fists.
His Mother’s love wasn’t enough for him to resist
leaving home and his Father’s frequent body hits.
He fell to his knees, “God, I need to be a man
and I’m only fifteen, so please hold my hand.
Father, help me become a good, good man.”
He worked many farms, rooming in barns.
He learned about crops, he learned to build,
he developed farming and carpentry skills.
He paid his bills, never let his loneliness spill.
He bowed his head, “God, thanks that I am fed,
I have a roof, a bed and work skills in hand.
Please, help me, God, be a good, good man.”
He grew to love labor under nature’s sky.
He felt he and the country saw eye to eye,
but in society, he wasn’t sure how to get by.
So, at eighteen, he gave the Job Corp a try.
He locked his fingers, “God, bless my stand,
as I find my way in more industrious lands.
Help me grow to be a good, good man.”
A new widow stands by her husband’s fresh grave
feeling the love-grief flashes their sixty years made.
She looks at their grown children, searching for his strengths,
and sees his traces in these faces, love linked.
Later, at twilight, alone on their country porch,
she sees city skyline in yonder darkness approach.
She knows each night, she will sit here most –
with the lit outline of skyscrapers he designed,
spied from their home he crafted in his beloved sunshine.
In tears, her head bows, “Thank you, God. Glory to your plan
that blessed me with the love of a good, good man.”

He sees it gleaming on the side of the road
Looks at it closely…pleased it isn’t a toad
Ever so blissful is that strapping young buck
He can’t resist so picks up the puck
The lad brings the puck on his very first date
Places it on the dash…picks her up at eight
She looks at him playfully, lust fills her eyes
Ten minutes later, oh, the passionate cries!
He gets a call from a probate attorney
Puck at his side, hears about old Aunt Bernie
Last time she visited she left so irate
Yet he’s sole heir to her lavish estate!
He goes to make a ‘deal’ on Monte Hall’s show
Clutches the puck…dressed as an emo scarecrow
Instead of door one that hides twelve pregnant hens…
He picks door two and drives away in a Benz
He thought he’d dabble in the market…why not?
He tosses up the puck…it lands on a spot
Buys a ton against advice from his adviser
The next week the corp. gets bought out by Pfizer!
The young gun opts to head off to Sin City
Smiling, he sings a joyful little ditty
He jets to the bank and cleans out his accounts
He even hawks the Benz since he has no doubts
He wanders over to the elaborate wheel
He kisses the puck…was this ever surreal!
He boldly pushes in the hefty chip stack
Recklessly placing his whole fortune…on black
You probably want to know how things turned out
Did he hit big…is he off to lounge about?
While I won’t exactly divulge the young lad’s fate…
Let’s say the puck now rests…on the bed of the lake!

Is tomorrow the end of March or the beginning of April April one or March 32 the
way to approach the online scenario is to make it seem to be true. Associated
Press AP: The Government in a brief memo enacted a new presidential law
bringing the March 32 a new day into the light of day. The President of the United
States declared leap year over null and voided. Here is the words of the transcript
from the Whitehouse: This is President Bush talking "Eye am certain all we ever
had to do was add a day on the end of a month when we need to in the year they
used to all call leap year year. March now has the end of the month the April
starts after the March 32 has come." End of quotation. The Democrats in Georgia
have declared WAR upon the United States "we believe it to be wrong to take
away leap year is bad enough but to add a day to MARCH is madness." The
press corp at the Whitehouse is for once speechless. The day of the end of
March will be celebrated all over the nation with the observnace of the Marching
Bands of America. Send money via PayPal to Box 666 Mountain Verne
Washingtonia, D.C. For the hearing impaired we have prepared a phonetic
version of this message. March 32. Mahrrch Thirtee Twuu. In DRY counties of
Arkansas this day will fall on April 1, 2008. The subdivisions housing in the
Indian Reservations in Oklahoma will be left out. No one in Central Asia may
observe it. Lets go LIVE to the White house to ask a question of Mrs. Bush. What
will you do Barbara? The First Lady is unavaliable for comment. This is highly
unusual. We remain speechless. The new day falls on a Tuesday this year and
April 1, 2008 is on this Wednesday. All of you are April fools.

Ignore my friend, ignore
work, work, work, hard,
40 hours to the corp,
20 hours to the family
and 40 to the drugs
you house is so nice
your car is better
40 to the corp
ignore the abuse,
slave labor in another country....
the blood, sweat, and tears....
You didnt do it, its the CEO
who makes those decisions.
Lobbyists supporting the war
wow, the profits, bonus for all..
Evil, abuse, pollution, war.
Make that check and run home.
20 to the family
Oh my beautiful children,
that hate me, but at least their fed well.
They dont value me, such stupid children
I work so hard for them,
My wife who doesnt like sex,
does that mean she doesnt love me?
I like it when we pretend,
we actually get along then,
please pretend some more,
that we love each other, please.
40 to the drugs
Television, Sports, video games, high fructose corn syrup,
chlorinated, flouridated water tastes so nice.
Caffiene, sugar, alcohol, nicotine
I still can't cope, anybody got some dope?
Damnit where is that rope?
The pharmacy can cure your pain,
and if not we can shock your brain.
This is my culture. I am sad for it, but am addicted to it.

You were a soldier with pride
Defending a nation
From forces of evil
You fought on the sands
Of a South Pacific land
You fought for an island
Owned by Japan
Our forces were strong
And you fought with great might
The island of Iwo Jima
You would take that night
Though death was around you
You faltered not
You fought with bravery
You knew not how to stop
Victory was yours, your brothers
Your friends
A victory that death will make
You forever live
You helped our nation
Win the war
That one tiny island
Was one Great reward
You gave your life
Or maybe not
Regardless your destiny
You fought a great fight
Sixty years has now
Come and gone
But we are still proud
Of the bravery you have shown
Dedication
To my grandfather, Jack Madison Fluitt, a United States Marine Corp. Raider who fought the
battle of Iwo Jima. You are gone now but we remember your life with much pride and honor.
To all the other soldiers who fought at Iwo Jima or any other battle of World War II,
thank you for our freedom. We owe our lives to you.

One! Two!! it’s all espirit d’ corp
For only our duty calls
When life is at stake there is no fall
No mistake taken when in your court is the ball
Left! Right!! The move taken of courage
We all move to the other side-no age
Orders are what keep us together as brothers
Not bordered when one falls we just go further
In the line there is no looking backward
For glory is what we look towards
At risk of our life forward we go
In our country we are living heroes

I do feel that Mr Trump's been changed
I'm most aware..of a different range
Of vaccine speed in the weft and warp'
Billions talking in from the scoros corp
A human queen he finds so amazing
I kid myself not, that he's even hazing.?
I saw some UK pundits view; they say.'
He's changed.. and they're not kidding hey!
Is this just a narrative of more confusion
Will America charge into dissolution?
A sucker punch soon to deck the world.?
Hold on tight, the tide now foams and swirls.'

Drawing a blank, now how's that possible
Unless you use invisible ink
Then what's the purpose if no one can see it
Kinda senseless don't ya think
However it seems I can kinda remember
The comics offered this kit
You wrote with a pen containing invisible ink
After rubbing it appeared bit by bit
Thought the whole thing was simply magic
Master spies is what we became
Belonging to the army's intelligence corp
Sending notes in an espionage game
Oh those were fun days of make believe
Pretending to be super sleuths
Slinking around passing invisible messages
Those super fun days of my youth

Dedicated to: (Maestro Marinero) Antonio B. Dublado
I could've been on the stage applauded by spectators old and young
A vibrant lad and appealing, so well I could sing and dance.
But when I saw a moving vessel in a horizon not so far
I could see myself a sailor than a renowned performing star.
I saw where the future leads me like the gleaming light on shore
With the throng of white go marching with the drums and bugle corp.
The anchor and the propeller are the insignia that I wore
A Maestro Marinero will one day knock at your door
On the ship that I and my ambitions will surely never ever stop
Though tears are falling; skin is soring or enjoying shorter naps.
When I, like a fool, could laugh remembering funny anecdotes
Perhaps it is a joke enough when laughing alone get caught.
So each day in my quarter with my tailored uniform
I can see the pride within me of such duty I perform
Dreams should not be clouded by dirty oils or the fumes
Not even by sea-sickness or by a strong wind or a storm
As I follow the plotted course in this voyage so-called life
Tempest may come so sudden; it could be perilous or slight
Shipwreck is so ghastly for any sailorman to think
To run aground is costly but it's far better than to sink
I equip myself with preparedness as we head to another shore
So wide-awake though deafened by the engine's endless roar
Let me sing my song to the ocean; to the surfs in a nearby shoal.
Soon another beauty I'll be seeing in another port of call
When it's time for me to disembark and set foot on the dry land
I'll be staying at the shore line to pay tribute to the ocean.
A mariner in the harbor where a lighthouse standing still
See fulfillment at his old age, Oh Lord! Let it be thy will.
