LUST IS AS ILL-CONSIDERED A WEED
  AS EVER STOLE SCENT

Rejected in the main as superstition -
A gadfly, I’m alone upon the weed:
A hot cinquefoil brooding on position,
Declared intent of being in need of screed -

Now the subject of each idle bee
Gorged already, needing a restful stop
What if his gyrations bring to me
No true syncopation of a honeyed hop?

Beauty – not recognised as such – I wonder
Why man and woman excavate a flower garden
Tear my fertility, so they may squander
Wild possibility, and the earth around me harden.

Can the joy I have before I’m torn asunder
Be worth it when they never ask my pardon?

The Danger of Ill-Considered Birthday Presents

For his fifth birthday, Heathcliff
Received a toy sword and sheath
With bubble mixture inside from
His absent-minded Uncle Keith.

It seemed an ideal gift.

Heathcliff tingled with pride,
Blowing heavenly bubbles
In the lugholes of his relations,
As they beamed with adult adoration
For a child achieving the easily achievable.

But twenty six years on, at sea,
Heathcliff was besieged by pirates
With six foot sabres gleaming
Like stainless steel cutlery.

Alas, our hero's bubble sword
Offered poor protection.
An Uncle's birthday bungling
Had doomed the lad to bloody vivisection.

The woman stares into the sun,
Hoping he will blind her from the fragrance of failure,

The woman stares into the sun,
Hoping she will scorch away the sound of sadness,

But the sun, laughs mockingly.
And says, “I shine, see me!”

The woman, confused looks to her life and says,
“Where is the sun, in your countenance? For all I see is darkness”

The woman stares into the twilight sunset,
And asks, “The sun has spurned me, why?”

And the twilight smiles, “Read between the lines my daughter, for things are not so dark.”

And the woman winked at the sun and said, “Thank you for your gratitude”
And in that moment, she grabbed her life crying and said, “You’re mine!”

For Black Girls Who Considered Being Dropouts When Education Wasnt Enough

Situation #1
Having it hard your whole life
didn’t know if u were gone last one
Sleepless night
Life
Deceit
Your dads gone away
Your mothers doing her best
Tryna survive life’s everlasting test
U say u cant take it
Its 2 hard
Ur giving up 2 easy
Everything isn’t always gonna b ur way
So u decide 2 dropout of high school
And try 2 do your own thing
Pull your own strings
But we all know the REAL reason y u
Dropping out
Cuz that boy in geometry class studied
Your biology and flipped your purity inside out
And now your knocked up
And confused
Clueless
Don’t know what 2 do
Now wishing
If only u wud have
Listened
2 those things mama used 2 say
Hm, at 16 u just threw your life away
Now your going out of your mind
All the answers to your questions u need 2 find………..

Lets move on to lemon lime
She’s so bright and stands out all
The time
I mean she’s so fine
All the guys have tasted her forbidden fruit
Yup she’s a tough cookie
Like mark from reading rainbow
But in roots
But Mrs. Lemon lime shud slow down sometime
Try telling her that and see does she answer that
Ha naw all she does is swish her hips and flip her hair back
Lemon lime thought she was dah queen
So did dah guys
Cuz,well u know what I mean
Suddenly lemon lime started to rot
Her parade went down
She started aching nonstop[
Something was wrong
She wasn’t blind
She just didn’t wanna see
All these guys that called her queen
Well one of them gave her HIV
Wow now what is this high school cheerleader gnna do
Idk
But there’s a moral to both of these stories
Don’t b so easy and anxious to give up your glory
This poem is for black girls who

Premium Member Thru Maritime Miles 8-A Pirate's Plea Considered

Dear Davey, my darling, my bright pirate boy
Your lips are the prize in the night of my joy
Your eyes can erase me or teach me the cure
Of how you can face me by all you endure

Your sigh is the sign of a man who is lost
A why on the line of a ban that you crossed
The cry of goodbye is the fear that you face
A try to get by with a beer you displace

Your math is confused by the lies in your good
The path you abused by the why’s in your should
The man in your head is the boy in your heart
Who flies on ahead for the joy on his part

The stop what you do is the pause that you need
The matter of two is the cause you should heed
Your joy is undone by the impulse to cheat
By raising your pulse for the sake of your beat

The glad if you could is the act you withstood
The had you been good for the fact that you should
The ship that you bossed with our dime in the bank
Is something you lost in the time that it sank

The romance we shared is the one that you sought
The dance that we dared for the fun that is not
The flip in our fortune was done by your hand
The dip in our portion you won for the band

Dear Davey, my dear one, my pride and my joy
The thrill of your lip is the side you employ
The hill we must climb is no tall mountain peak
But merely a time to be all that you seek

The strength you must find is the will to be true
The length of your life on a hill just for you
The tally you score is the streak you begin
By which you may soar to the peak of a win

To do what you can is fulfilling and right
To prove you're a man who is willing to fight
The courage to care is the best way to find
The urge that is there to be honest and kind

The values we choose are the dues of success
The virtues we use in the blues we address
Your love is the news that will lead me to find
The load that I lose when I need to unwind

How long I have waited for someone like you
And yet I was dated by men who withdrew
The lady you mated is now in control
By how she has gated the heart that is full

Dear Davey, my pirate, my sweet honeycake
Your love in my life is no feat of mistake
Your lip is my trip on an ocean of blue
The reason I flip with emotion for you.

Premium Member What Is Considered Normal Today

Almost everything in the world has become false
it proves how far twisted normal practice has developed
most of society having lost its moral compass refuse to see
At what point will they awaken to the truth
and highlight something sinister at work
We the few cannot understand this unexplained occurrence
that baffles even the soul

October Considered

Step gently, my sweet,
Into the hallowed night,
And be not afraid
Of the mystery awaiting you.

See me as your escort,
Here to overshadow
Frightening things,
Great and small.

To the gates
We must journey.
Your presence delayed
Long enough.

Be aware
Of where your eyes land,
For this is no time
To be foolish.

Seek now
The gift of courage
As you enter this domain,
So fascinating.

Deities ponder
Your existence,
And would have you
For their own.

Go meekly into the night,
My friend,
But wield your sword
Of righteousness well.

I’ll stand beside you,
Watching all along,
Counting every piece of candy
You’d dare consume.

To Be Considered

When doubt is the only option considered. Than doubt shall be the only result to
prevail.

Premium Member Have You Ever Considered Where Wealth Comes From

Have you ever considered where wealth comes from?
When in our history had wealth begun?
Is it a man-made concept, which has become
The fabric of our existence beneath our sun?

Yet consider a man, left all alone
On our planet, no object did he not own;
Where is the wealth? How could it be shown?
With no one to compare he is worthless, as a stone.

Wealth only exists if we can compare
Against our fellow man, with whom we share
An existence, though we must be aware,
Wealth is an illusion; that is our despair.

Fame and Name Considered More In Life-Game

One magazine published a poem in its front page
And asked readers to read and comment about it
Many declared the poem to be a wonderful stuff
And applauded the poet as a number one genius

In this way, many comments were given about the poem
And at last the magazine declared the secret behind it,
It took the first line from each page of the magazine
And concocted a poem to give it as a poem for all

One greatest Tamil poet went to read poetry in a gathering
He gave his poem to an ordinary poet and took latter's poem
For that man, none clapped and listened absolutely silently
They clapped for the poem read by the greatest poet grandly

The greatest poet told all the exchange of poems made
And told them that they were giving importance to fame
The entire audience kept quiet for their wrong praising
The poet requested them to keenly observe before praising!

Premium Member Santas Considered Opinion

Santa’s in lockdown, he’s not very happy
The reindeer are restless and now getting scrappy
The elves are all sitting and nibbling their nails
The sleigh is just sat there, no wind in its sails

So Christmas is gone, it’s this year’s last day
He sits all alone in the back of the sleigh
He’s had a few gins so whilst it’s not wise
He’s taking her up... if she still flys

He hitches the sleigh to the reindeer and sighs
As they gallop away into overcast skies
He looks back behind him and briefly he lingers
To give twenty twenty two stiff middle fingers

Considered Ourselves To Be Emphatic

Considered Ourselves To Be Emphatic

Considered ourselves to be emphatic;
We would definitely become a fanatic;
As you thought;
Were caught

Not consistent but sporadic and erratic.

Considered Yourself Forgiven

i know about her and what you did
the secrets, sneaking around and the fibs
and you know the hurt and pain you caused
my life and love now destroyed
but I'm not here to blame
it's just a short poem to say
considered yourself forgiven
