Best Cleanliness Poems
Sensitivity in good care
always orderly and neat
all these are next to godliness
CLEANLINESS
It is essential to lead a clean life
To keep your body clean
And to keep your mind clean ,
Clean , bright and polished
But beware ,
The thought that you are clean
Is the persistent speck of pride
That needs to be washed off
Again and again
And yet again .
Cleanliness
The small town
Up north
Is so clean
Shoes is
Forbidden
Out doors
Only woolly
Socks
People
Do not go
Out a lot
Especially not
In winters.
Of Cleanliness and Godliness, the adage appoints;
God will be proximate to the most cleanly joints.
Now, Craig’s place is clean, I mean, his pad is bright!
And Steve lives on Craig’s left while I’m on the right.
The way that I figure, if that old saying’s true,
Then Steve’s digs are painted a deified hue.
Steve must be holy as holy can be,
‘Cause he’s next to Craig’s place, and God is not me!

Passed down to me from my dear mother,
this cleaning bug even bit my brother.
I spent many hours doing house chores.
The need to clean, we could not ignore.
I always felt such satisfaction,
my friends all thought a strange reaction,
to suck up dust bunnies brought such joy.
A brand new mop was better than a toy.
When my brother and I felt the need to compete,
we would clean out our closets, win went to most neat.
And when I was a teen without a date,
I scrubbed bathroom tiles 'til the hour got late.
Dear fellow poets, I have a confession.
For a certain bald man, I had quite an obsession.
Many long nights, he and I danced,
the hum of the vacuum, our song of romance.
As I grew older, the neat freak contest ensued.
The need to be cleanest, a relentless pursuit.
The only person I competed with was me.
Now, with a messy four-year-old, I have set myself free.
This cleaning contest was only bringing me strife.
No longer competing, I'm now living my life.

Seventh Place
Cleanliness and Whores
The ship was old once it had been a big ship now it was small
it had been overtaking by time, its shower system had sea water
which was nice enough to cool off when it was hot.
After having a shower, you needed a bucket of fresh water to rinse
the salt away if not you would scratch all night have irritated skin
For month we did not have a proper wash when our ship docked in
Bremerhaven for repairs and we got fresh water found I had
an extra pair of socks I didn’t know about
it was wonderful having a hot shower I stayed under it til someone
complained I was using all the warm water, even today the sense
of cleanliness makes me shudder with delight.
Whatever I had done in my youth the night before it helped
to have a shower and wash the sin away the smell of “life buoy.”
the only soap we knew about, made the difference the whores
loved it they knew you were clean seamen
The office dust is gone…now his office is in disarray
The dust was two years thick…pandemic thick
So many papers, pairs of glasses, and miscellaneous
Carefully moved each item aside to lemon shine the desk
Not carefully enough, for his office is in disarray
The dust was stuck to shelves, blinds, and shadow boxes
The dust was two years thick…pandemic-sick
But…he can’t find his clippers, lens cloth, or me
I’m hiding…can’t you see?! I’m hiding the vacuum where I tossed
the dust and infamy. Items lost and found…when asked…replied
The dust, a two year storm…thick as new fallen snow
Don’t panic! This pandemic of cleanliness is over…
over and above a husband’s head…i need to do my job!

The kitchen's disinfected, the worktops squeaky clean,
The laundry's in the wardrobe and nothing's left in the machine.
The crockery is washed and dry, it's stacked in cupboards, looking neat.
There's just one nagging problem, I've got nothing left to eat!
The old combs
Stay with me many years
Now I bought new combs too
But too lazy to use
I stay at home
Especially during MCO
I seldom use mirror or comb
I use my hands to comb most of the time
To tidy the short hair I cut myself
I'm too old to use comb often
I'm too lazy to bother appearance
Which was spoiled by dimmy eyes and ugly wrinkles
Suddenly I think of my parents
Everyday they couldn't do without combs
They brushed their hair tidy and shining
Father with a quick sweep
Mother with a long hour combing straight down
Olden days people like tidiness and cleanliness
Their days are simple
And follow routines and etiquette
Their hearts loyal and simple
Like the being straightened hair
Now people like fashions ,excitements and hairstyles
The combs bring me back
The sweet memories of my parents and their love
The old combs deserve to be kept
In my heart
Especially during this Mother's and Father's Day
Your home is tidy
That's responsibility
A heart full of glee.
The old combs
Stay with me many years
Now I bought new combs too
But too lazy to use
I stay at home

I dislike litterers
I see them, the cow-like chewers
Always spilling and always littering
How can these large lifers be so reckless
The environment is helpless
I see them smear the earth
They are guilty of chocking their own breathe
They are litterbugs that deserve a nosebag
With jaws incessantly grinding
Munching and crunching
In my mind I am punching
In my mind I am emptying a bin of refuge on their heads
In my mind I am tattooing a recycle sign of their foreheads
Their mindset needs a reprocess
Litterers give me so much distress
Cleanliness
On my frequent lone walk by the old docks
I came across a building which turned out
to be a communal bathhouse.
It was incredibly cheap for a few pence
I got a towel and soap and had my first shower
I was at the time, elven years old.
And when I was short of change asked my mother
for not ice cream, but for a shower.
My brother said only poofters went there, how would
I know? I Didn`t see anyone wearing badges:
“I`m a gay person.”
There are shops where the old building stood and
by life`s irony sells perfume and toiletry.
