Cleanliness

CLEANLINESS
It is essential to lead a clean life
To keep your body clean
And to keep your mind clean ,
Clean , bright and polished
But beware ,
The thought that you are clean
Is the persistent speck of pride
That needs to be washed off
Again and again
And yet again .

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

by the way, my mom is a clean freak (hence i am a slob) because I grew up always having to see her clean constantly. Do you know the Bible story of the two women, and the one is always cleaning and her sister just sits to hear Jesus talking and Jesus lets the other one know that it is not about the cleaning, but about wanting to hear the Gospel? Something like that. Anyway, my mom really hated that story. hahaha. And my mom adores the Scriptures!!
