Mother
The best of all my words
I love calling you
Past were those so many years
when the petals of my heart would blossom
as your voice, the sweetest of music would flow
the youth of my soul would cease to grow.
Gone were those so sweet times
when you, mother, in my world would reign
as your Love wouldn’t cease to rain
and the thirst of my soul wouldn’t remain.
Mother
The finest of all my words
I love calling you
I once confided into my words a promise
I would conceal your warmth in my very abyss
I would ever keep your candlelight aglow
and have my bereaved heart lay down its woe
the grief of my soul, I’ll keep my word
and into oblivion, I’ll try to throw.
In vain, I tell you mother
the pain of your loss in my heart couldn’t wane
my words on your blessings are overflowing and plain
the bond we shared is running in my vein
the love I had from you, burning to regain.
Mother
The sweetest of all my words
I love calling you.

Suddenly without warning
I saw you in the sky
You were on a mission
I thought I would cry
You have no heart you filthy coward
As you flew over our town
I am a peaceful man
I couldn’t shoot you down
No one is safe as you fly by
No man, no woman, no child
You hit your targets consistently
Even the statue at church was defiled
Your aim is uncanny as you hit your targets below
Precision bombing from afar
You now have gotten on my last nerve
You do it every time I wax my car.

Blessed Be The Peacemakers
(A prayer to mark this eventful day)
Blessed be the peacemakers
Who change violence into lasting peace
May they become as one team of partakers
and may the deadly fire at long last cease
May God give you strength to bear the worldly burdens
According to our Lord's Scriptures and acts we believe in
An abiding truce, the missing piece
May fall into place for the sake of world peace
Mid East, the cradle of civilization
Bring a brightening day upon mankind's re-creation

Dreams will never cease,
I dream of our walk together
the lane of rustling shades
The holding of our hands
That gave simple but immense pleasure
The lying on the beach with star filled night
The misty night with moon
That paled in our love and fervour
I hold all these of you my dear
Dream never cease will never cease
I will never allow it to cease
So what if you are gone
The blast has taken you away
But my dreams are in tack
Never to leave you away
You will help beat my heart
You will help me live
You will breathe along
To make my life mammoth
We will live for peace
We shared those thoughts in serenity
We dreamed of all those tranquility
Now we live through them
With no qualms…….sunkan

You Never Cease to Amaze Me!
You never cease to amaze me!
I know I haven’t been thinking much about you lately
I’ve been so busy, what with studying and being sick,
I didn’t think you even knew or cared about all
That I’ve been going through;
The aches and pains, the severe lack of money,
Slight disappointment verging on disillusion
On why I haven’t been able to produce anything
Other than the occasional fourteener or haiku
While enjoying the marvellous writing of so many other poets
I’m glad now I didn’t let anything worry me too much
It's funny the way it happened but
Looking back it’s easy to see that you
Were working away behind the scenes for me
I love the way you led me
To learn something new about yourself
When I thought I knew so much already
This gift was such a surprise
It still makes me smile when I think about it
And came when I least expected
But at just the right time for me to understand
That God makes 'the ordinary extraordinary'*
And uses 'the simple things to do great things'*
You never cease to amaze me God!
And may you never cease to inspire
And reveal the mystery of you to me
Through others.

SARAJEVO-1995 Another Cease Fire
As old as death and cold as nevermore
all set to stone, by those who've died before;
the acts of love, though viewed a falacy
reveal the truth of what has come to be
and given to what friendship has in store.
This city with its palaces should die
though all the world would come to wonder why,
for better off the world would come to be
than letting blood to flow so fast and free
in gutterways, where life lives on its' lie.
There'll never be agreement, in our day
for east is east, and west, the other way,
and taste for blood is strong and long and deep,
from promises that time will never keep,
and all the world has nothing more to say.
Who'll end the peace so fast we'll never know
enough to place the blame where it should go?
There's always time to bury those who've died
but not enough for helping those who've cried,
and peace is what the reapers never sow.

Charlie consumed countless calories
chomping Christmas cake
chocolate
cookies
candies
chewy caramels
cherry cheesecake
consequently
Charlie complained of
cavernous cavities
and cramped constricting chino’s
Charlie can’t control continuous Christmas chomping!

The Crusades Began a Holy War
Which Continues to this Day.
We Kill, and Kill, and Now it Seems,
This shall Always be the Way.
One Side Scores, the Others Die,
Then the Cycle is Repeated.
It never Stops, It’s never Done;
The Battles Grow More Heated!
The Way to Peace, it Seems so Clear,
Is not Through Senseless Slaughter.
I Appeal to All, “Please Quit the Fight!”
Save our Sons and Daughters!
To Find Our Way out of the Dark,
We Need only Seek the Light.
A Solution Lies within our Grasp:
Forget who’s Wrong or Right!
This God or that, it Makes no Matter.
This Truth I have Acquired:
Be they Different, or the Same,
The Gods would Preach Cease Fire!

I feel your hands all over me
Moving with determination and desire
Your calloused hands moving quickly
And never seeming to tire
You put your mouth up to my nipple
As I lay there powerless and weak
You move up to my neck slowly
And lightly kissing my cheek
You move over top of me
And look me in the eyes
I look away so quickly
From those things that I despise
You grab my hair so roughly
That I grunt quietly from the pain
You give it one more yank
Just to hear that sound again
Your hand is still around my neck
Slowly tightening it's grip
Your other hand between my legs
Making me feel so sick
You roughly push your way inside
With one hard heavy grunt
Start thrusting deep inside of me
Like trying to overcome a stunt
You finally reach your sexual climax
I could see it rapidly advance
You tear yourself off of me
Not a single hint of romance
You go to light a cigarette
And somehow stubbed your thumb
You stood up and punched the wall
Thats when I knew you were scum
From that moment onward
It was never to be the same
I could barely stand to be around you
And you only have yourself to blame
I've walked away from what once was
I need to be left in peace
We will never get back together
So put your stupid attempts to a cease.

How long will it take
For your vehemence to cease
Like the wild winds that destroy,
That won't let in peace?
Everyone wants peace
Yet in the air are echos
Of threats against another
And I came to see
That it isn't you, it is I
For I have not searched your heart
I assumed falsely.
And I see my words
Were based on my own viewpoint
And fed you a cold spoonful
And I left you hurt.
"Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me."

There was this little girl,
Her Mama's world.
Who frowned and drowned,
From her fears and tears.
She could never bare,
The fact that someone cares.
One day she ran away,
Never to think she'd miss the light of day.
Her Mama cried.
Thinking she had never tried.
Police stepped to the door,
Glancing at the bloody floor.
"I cease the day,
My daughter gets away.
Forever hold my peace,
As I let this trigger release.
The daughter dropped to her knees,
Asking her mother Why oh please?
She shut her eyes,
As she prayed to the skies.

Rhyme
They're redefining sanctity,
Brutally enforcing harmony,
Encouraging the surrender of solidarity,
The best kept secret, our dichotomy.
Finally a moment of clarity,
After living so long for others,
Never again will I be longing,
For those sacrilegious tethers,
Breathing in the fresh air again,
After so long in the basement,
Healthy doses of the fair and even,
A welcome change from containment.
Trapped within,
My own country,
Sustained by subtle sin,
It's my resistance,
And my holy duty,
To discern the truth from malarkey,
I will resist,
And inspire righteous dissent,
For the truth shall set me free.

If there were no shining Christmas Lights
No Silver Bells or Silent Nights
If there were no gifts beneath the tree
Would Christmas cease to be?
If there was no tasty holiday fare
No people gathering here or there
If no crowds went from shop to shop
Would Christmas simply stop?
The answer of course is a resounding no
For Christmas came quite long ago
Christmas was before the tree
Before the gifts for you and me
Christmas brought the shepherds and kings
The angel songs and the giving of things
For one small child was born
On that very first Christmas morn
He is why the star shone bright
On that Midnight Clear and Holy Night
The faithful come and He is the reason
And now, we gather and worship at this special season
So, if there were no shining Christmas Lights
No Silver Bells and Silent Nights
Still He came - for you and for me
And Christmas will never cease to be.

An ally, a kindred, so fragile, so fleeting
Who knew you'd just lie back and take such a beating
A momentary trance, I'm assuredly sane
Alas, its just dreams playing tricks again
Withdraw to familiar, solitary hibernation
Lick at the wounds, inevitable damnation
I can't do this to you, or to me, anymore
Abstain from the prospects that expose me raw

Rhyme
We keep the treasures that our hearts cherish,
In quiet times unearth their memories.
Find there the longing and a constant wish,
We want to bring back the lost days we miss.
But roads we tread have ends and journeys cease.
And when a book's last page is read, it's closed,
Just as life leads to where we'll lie... reposed.
