To Cease Wild Winds

How long will it take For your vehemence to cease Like the wild winds that destroy, That won't let in peace? Everyone wants peace Yet in the air are echos Of threats against another And I came to see That it isn't you, it is I For I have not searched your heart I assumed falsely. And I see my words Were based on my own viewpoint And fed you a cold spoonful And I left you hurt. "Let there be peace on earth And let it begin with me." By CarolineCécile © 03.29.12

Wow...which of us has not needed to say these words at sometime in our lives? So much meaning in this poem, and such insight. :)
