Stole my heart
Stole echoes of time
Time freely given
Time to treasure
Treasure memories
Treasure of hope
Hope everlasting
Hope in my life
Life today
Life tomorrow faithful
Faithful best friend
Faithful partner
Partner tiller of home
Partner strength
Strength watches over
Strength lover’s waltz
Waltz support future
Waltz found family
Family building block
Family respect
Respect each other
Respect and fulfillment
Fulfillment together unconditionally
Fulfillment and purpose
Purpose for a sense of calling
Purpose to influence destiny
Destiny to be together
Destiny to the end
End of deep blue sea
End until morning comes
Comes flaming pleasure
Comes and hopelessly lost
Lost yesterday, today,
Lost in your eyes forever
Forever and not afraid
Forever not alone, but growing
Growing lineage
Growing old with grace
Grace inspiring awe
Grace moving leisurely
Leisurely and young again
Leisurely and still holding hands
Hands of each other
Hands with angels want
Want of health
Want of liveliness
Liveliness of love
Liveliness everlasting
Everlasting
Love

Premium Member A Child's Only Christmas

On Christmas Eve an Angel
felt the sorrow of the Lord.
Who wept for the many Children
sentenced to perish by the sword.
What alarm and consternation
    could sweep their lives away?
By those who think a Child's extirpation
would not lead their souls astray.

As Doctors and their sycophants
ply their trade with minatory skill.
Know there are a thousand causes
for which to die but none for which to kill.
What sweet music would not be written
and what songs would not be sung?
What picture worth a thousand words
would never unite the world as one?

So 'Peace on Earth' to those who care
but take from this to hear my plea.
For every precious Child not born of Earth
is a lost building block we need.
And to those who cower in the dead of night
afraid to speak for fear of enmity and strife.
Please look deep within and feed your spirit...
you may just save a Child's life.

What disease would not be beaten
and what further pain will be our curse?
What person plagued by an unknown affliction
would want to make things any worse?
The Angel thought about such irony
of a Child ripped tragically from its womb.
Knowing such a Child may have held the key
    to a society's heightened gloom.

So the Angel gathers up the Children
who would not see the light of Christmas day.
And takes them to the gates of Heaven
to revel in the laughter they all displayed.
But back on Earth... more decisions made
to add another name to Heaven's scroll.
But the Infant's death will not save our place
as we abide another heinous stain upon our soul.

So 'Peace on Earth' to those who care
but take from this to hear my plea.
For every precious child not born of Earth
is a lost building block we need.
And to those who cower in the dead of night
afraid to speak for fear of enmity and strife.
Please find your courage this Christmas Eve...
    and save a Child's life.

                    The End

Premium Member Why Can'T We All Just Get Along

It is not hard to find our differences
In looks or thoughts or likes
The human snowflake is so unique
Acceptance should be our plight

Why can’t we all just get along
Stop telling the other guy how he’s living wrong
Love is the building block that will make us strong
Why can’t we all just get along

We can rise above putting others down
We can live in harmony
We can better this world that we all share
By accepting the you’s and me’s

Why can’t we all just get along
Stop telling the other guy how he’s living wrong
Love is the building block that will make us strong
Why can’t we all just get along

God created a garden with variety
There is plenty of space for all
Instead of practicing negativity
We should let his flowers grow big and tall

Why can’t we all just get along
Stop telling the other guy how he’s living wrong
Love is the building block that will make us strong
Why can’t we all just get along

Lego - Building Block of a Child Mind

They are the building blocks of the child mind,
Sets science of creativity beyond the edge of grind,
For a few the ‘minifigures’ are a collector’s item,
But for all ages it is a natural creative game,

The bricks are the basic cells, colourful and bright,
Multitude of shapes they lock together in delight,
For the youngest, there are the ‘duplo’s to build,
As they grow older, they develop new creative skills,

‘The Juniiors’, ‘The City’, ‘Friends’ and toys humane,
Are all ‘Creator’s paradise out of solitary cells,
Combinations galore put imagination to rock,
Build with a feel from a never-ending stock,

There are ‘Fairies’ and ‘Barbies’ for the girls,
While the boys traverse though the adventure world,
‘Superheros’ in ‘Invation’ of ‘Starwars’ alight,
‘Castles’, ‘Chima’ and ‘Ninjago’ in future sights,

Scriptures needs not be followed, build as per your freewill,
A City, a car or even a complete castle atop a hill,
Motors, switches, powered devices and robotic ‘mindstorms’,
All electronics lock on to an excellent platform,

The iconic toys sets their origins to Denmark,
Out from the creative mind of Ole Kirk Christiansen’s works,
To build a collection is ones childhood dream,
To get a gift echoes delights unrestrained screams!

You're only trying to make me the laughingstock of London.
Place your pig's belly on the butcher-block,and play me some acid rock,
before we experience another earthquake aftershock.

Premium Member Metric Rhythm

A good poetry emanates from the heart of the poet, vibrates in its rhythm that resonates in the mind of the reader. The form of poetry has evolved over the years with literary experiments on poetic expressions where the muse weaves tapestry of words. The traditional forms of verse use some kind of rhythmic pattern called meter (meaning ‘measure’ in Greek), a scheme of stressed and unstressed syllables. Each set of such syllables comprises a foot, the building block of meter. The lines of most of English poetry are like garlands that string together the foot, the individual rhythmic unit, the flower. The arrangement of syllables (stressed, unstressed) in these units in lines of a poem may vary, deciding its meter, such as, Iamb (a stressed syllable followed by an unstressed syllable), Pyrrhic (2 unstressed syllables), Spondee (2 stressed syllables), Trochee (a stressed syllable followed by an unstressed syllable), Anapest (2 unstressed syllables followed by a stressed syllable), and Dactyl (a stressed syllable followed by 2 unstressed syllables). The length of the line is controlled by the number of feet, giving the metric pattern to the poem, such as, monometer (1 foot), dimeter (2 feet), trimeter (3 feet), tetrameter (4 feet), pentameter (5 feet), hexameter (6 feet) etc. In this basic pattern the rhythm is how the words flow with the meter. Rhythm can be created by repetition of words that flow in metric pattern or by breaking up the flow with longer or shorter lines. A poem is indeed like a river that flows with words in lines rippling in rhythmic pattern.

In the mountains cascades the brook in glee,
water of the foothill river is free,
the feet of banks dancing ripples embrace,
the rhythm of flow wraps the river in grace.
Ripples may come, ripples may go, it flows
to the ocean, placid ocean it goes.

(The poem is set in iambic pentameter with rhythmic repetition of words in the last two lines.)

Patience

You will never find love if you search for it.
It will duck
Dive
Jump
Run
Hide
It will do anything it can to stay out of grasp
Only those whom behold the most powerful virtue
Patience
Can attain love
Patience
The forgotten building block of human essence
Those who give up searching for love
Live their life
Demonstrating great patience
Become successful
Will have love come to them
Not just any love
True love
The greatest and purest love

Premium Member The Peace I Seek

When the world won’t let me be,
And religion just screams.
And everyone keeps telling me,
What they think I ought to think.
And by the looks of things,
I don’t think I want their version of peace.
Peace doesn’t blame,
Peace doesn’t shame,
Peace doesn’t scream,
Peace doesn’t always look the same.
And from what I’ve seen.
Peace can’t be summed up by your latest religious meme.
You see,
Truth isn’t always what you wish it to be.
It stands alone
And doesn’t rely at all on me.
You see,
Peace sometimes wields a sword.
Yet sometimes offers the other cheek.
You see,
Peace can’t be purchased with modern dime store democracy.
Can’t be controlled,
With shiite theocracy.
Or with bible belt hypocrisy.
Can’t be contained by your good deeds of mediocrity.
Although your store bought Botox smile may look down on me,
The gastric bypassed mindset,
May only see what it wants to see.
First world problems,
Of the “plantation’s” convenience,
Never solved the issues of humanity.
You hole up in your ivory tower.
Telling me I need to shower.
You’re hoping that you’re sin’s well hidden.
Refusing to attend
The feast to which we’ve all been bidden.
You find it quite embarrassing,
That I wear my sin out on my sleeve.
Open for all the world to see.
You see,
I’m trusting in the One that covers me.
His strength/my weakness.
That’s my building block of peace.
You see,
The Drummer in this band I seek?
He metronomes a different beat.
It lights my path and guides my feet.
And if it’s all the same to thee...
I’ll march a different road to Peace.

Inside of Me

What people never see
It's strikingly intertwined
With the maze inside of my mind
Lost inside of myself
Loving the sanctuary within the walls of my soul
For in here I can let magic take form I can let go
Let my heart fly and my lust flow
And only I will know
Inside of me intricate sub genres of all topics
Flexible membranes and a passion that defies all logic
Within the confines of my inner self
I am a snow flake in the sun that never melts
A fire that burns on the water of a lake
Never to be smothered out as I confuse fate
I am a mist of love coating the hardest rock
Softening it into dust and creating with it a building block
Within the layered cells there wisdom and knowledge dwells
For I can be a force that swells
I can bend your mind and make it swirl
Flow randomly though your thoughts make your mind whirl
I can caress your skin with out a single touch
Hold you close safely in my clutch
Reach deeply inside where the pain hides
Soothe it away and tame the tides
Kiss every boo boo and bruise
Take your mind body and soul on a sensational cruise
But try as I might all these things will never be free
Because your out there and all of this rests
Entirely inside of me
Trust is my ghost it haunts my heart
Taunts my mind and rips me apart
Makes all of earth shaky ground
To venture out to take a peek
Is to risky my friend for life is short and man is weak
So try as I might all these things will never be free
Because your out there and all of this rests
Entirely inside of me

The Tree of Knowledge

The Tree of
Knowledge
So there's
electricity like
force fields around
the earth
Stemming from the
Earth's inner core
Where outside on the
grass in bare feet
Back to basics
having the Earth's
inner core recharge
you
To get into your own
inner core
To grow
Ans spread out ward
and up wards to
comfort others
To charge them back
to life
And recycle them
back into the earth
Natural compost
Getting fed into the
tree
Trees could be souls
from other times
Maybe even animals
souls
Were all equal as
one
In this game of life
It's survival of the
fitest
They majestically
get their simplistic
energy from the sun,
moon and earth
Natural elements
Humans think to hard
Full of junk
Living, breathing,
eating toxins
Trees and plants
make great peace
with their inner
self
Roots are planted
firmly into its
concrete foundation
Going nowhere in
life
But how did it get
there in that spot?
Is it satisfied
enough to stay
there?
But still it does
change each year
Gets tiring?
Some tree are so
ever inviting
Climb of perfection
Just don't break
anything please
It took years for a
branch to reach out
Just let us be
Than others are just
plain to sensitive
Just a pure defense
mechanism
Covered in thorns
Assuming its that
special that some
higher power will
want to hurt it
Thorn bushes will
run wild on you
Cant tame them
Trying to spread
what it knows of
love
Knowing that it has
all those thorns;
nothing can hurt it
Attempting to reach
out & around
Scaling up larger
trees
Just ends up hanging
back down all limp
Ground just a tad
more comfortable?
Trees are the
building block to
life; oxygen
Humans are
destroying them
Other animals work
with them
Home sweet home
Their power of
beauty
But they can't
conquer the elements
on their own
Smaller plants and
bushes
Shorter life span
but big help

Evol , Love

These are my thoughts

This is my voice

Love was becoming toxic

I had to toss it

Though blame it on the Pandora box

Wait but that is unfair of me

For my misfortune is of my own doing

Evol

That is selfish of me

Still have my back against the wall

Still have hope

Looking at my wrist watch

I made a few baby steps

Believe this; nothing good comes out of the dark

Paint that white

So don’t turn your back

For love is your building block

Pause for a second

And reconsider your decisions

For your chances are your choices

Choices are your chances

For tomorrow belongs to the courageous

Who roll the dice more than twice

In their minds you only live once

Tomorrows existence will tell of the

Of your today’s circumstances

LOVE

Embrace it

Undefeated, I Am Not

Is it possible to be proud of pride; if not then I don't know what to call this
this feeling of appreciation, turning an entire night around
but the night gains dust on the couch; it's a new day, a dark new day
The issue, it's still buzzing, nagging, playing the joker trump card
My heart may be strong but it can't take these punches much longer
This situation sits confidently on top of my head
dodging at all the right times while tirelessly I struggle to remove it
I see a moment to erupt like a volcano but only a ring of smoke flares out
I see a moment to throw up the lunch I never ate
but only a belch emerges with the blood slowly rushing to my cheeks
My life is like a game of Jenga
it's always one thing piling up after another, creating a skyscraper
all the problems of my opinions, all the problems I share with friends
yet when one ray of hope, when one ounce of merriment commences
there's a shade of my past at the ready to crack down my defenses
makes me remember
and the skyscraper is now a building block avalanche, crippling me
Stained, why am I so stained; who's to blame
Was it Belle or did it all begin with Sarah...
I'm unable to tell, it all seems so foreign
The only thing telling me it was once my reality: pain
It hurts, I cannot deny; it hurts
I can put on all the facades I can muster, act facetious, say I don't care
but it would just be one more lie I'd write off
My issues, they stand undefeated, no scars or scratches
while I lay down bruised and beaten, no will to get up again
They don't fall, the tears, but their stinging presence is felt
Pathetic...the abrupt crazy laughter cries pathetic insanity while my voice screams 'whatever'
Will I ever be able to live this down; if I live it down, I'll just throw it back up
Why...why did she have to tell...I was better off ignorant
now I'm cursed with a replay of my vibrant imagination...
If I tear out my eyes, will I still be able to visualize...

Corruption

Darn you!!
Darn you AND
Your I need money so darn you attitude
How bout someone take your life out of your hands

Forget oxygen,
Money is THE ESSENTIAL key building block of life
Black, Mexican
Marijuana, Opium
Stir Fry, Burritos
Propane, Gas
Whatever
For everything else money can't buy
There's stress.
Keeps people on drugs
Possessed
Common gentlemen
Lets give it a rest

Warp minds
Fiddle the strings
That green overrides the fact
We are all human beings

We've never cared about your health
Play with rattles while we stack wealth
hahahaa, fools. Works every time
You'd think they'd learn,
but at the drop of a dime......
CORRUPTION!

Attraction

You expect teachers
to tell the truth
or at least
know the truth
as a child
A Teacher stood
at the head of our class

Gravity is created
by centrifugal force
taking a bucket
full of water
he swung it round
in circles

See how the water
stays at the bottom
of the bucket
that's the force
Gravity
that keeps us
on the planet

My mind thought
that can't be right
we are on the outside
of the planet
going round
and round

Then surly like
the bike wheel
the force
would throw
us off

Gravity
must be
something
different
since then
I have learned

Einstein
believed
that Gravity
was created
by the curvature
of space and time

That like a blanket
wraps itself
around the earth
holding us down
to the planet
it's hard to argue

Einstein
was no fool
but to me
I think of space
and time
as the proverbial
nothing

But then
with space
we know that
the proverbial
nothing
is actually
something

we sit
in the middle
of a miracle
and question
the impossible
how can something
never end

and yet
that is
the description
of space
a never ending
vacuum
devoid of energy
black saturn

a tapestry
or canvas
on which God paints
the endless
energy
of life

an
eternity
of nothing
stretching on
for endless time
yet my mind
still thinks

Gravity
could be
the simple atom
the microscopic
building block
of life

the atom
attracts
other atoms
attempting
to link together

could gravity
be created
by this
attraction
could
matter
simple be
attracted
to matter
