Heart & Soul

What a wonderful thing to behold!
Have you ever seen one quite so cute?
Never ever wanna let you go..
dressed in a brand new birthday suit.

How nicely you plucked heart strings..
that day you flew into life,
on two sun-kissed shining wings.

All your charms,
sent my heart straight to Mars,
the day you fell asleep..
right here in my arms..

Oh Heart & Soul..

Not yet even one day old,
left me feelin' ten feet tall..
so precious a tale be told..
pink bottom and all!

Went to shop for ribbons and bows,
said the angels.. we don't have any of those..
how 'bout ten fingers and toes?

The day you took my heart & soul,
was oh so nice, yes all sugar and spice,
so glad your mom brought you home..
would a kept you at twice the price.

Under lightning streaked flashing glow..
the night a duet sought to become a sweet trio.
Please tell your mom she's still the best,
no better nine month gift was I ever blessed.

Wrapped In Ribbons and Bows of Love

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bare unto the world her beauty stood; both of us knowing!?
As smiling within a twinkling of grace, filling her perfect eyes
Cream de cream; in this yuletides lovely moment afore its place ~
Whereupon the stockings of love were so gently lain and, she
Adorned in creations vesture with a glass of light; holding paradise....
Premium Member Gracefully Bows As She Leaves
Forest alive now
Autumn colors brilliant glow
Poplar_ Maple grow
Colors seen_red, yellow, rust
Auroras of autumn flow
Elegantly dressed
For the last ball before snow
She smiles at artist
As he gathers paints blends shades
Painting her colorful gown
As sunlight dances
Against gown that glows with dew
Gracefully she bows
As bare limbs begin to show
Last of grace before first snow
Winter Bows to Spring
In the midst of sullen cold
 pink cherry blossoms burst open as winter bows to spring ~
 yellow daffodils spring up from frozen icicles ~
 white snowdrops vault through soils of howling storms ~
 gold jasmina scampers up fences between winter's wildness ~
 purple crocus stand tall midst blazing blizzards ~
 rosy tulips push up past untamed storms ~
 lavender glory-of-the-snows awakens in shivering snow ~
 purple daphne spreads perfume to hoary frost  ~
Heralds and harbingers of spring in the midst of winter
Broken Bows
While as getting lost aneath the truth betwixt; postmortems lines....
Shall I engage to entangle myself once more within these enlivened
Embodiments, whom wish to cast me into their unblinking morticious eyes?!
Projecting melancholy tears; this enigma chained unto its own bend and bites
Misconceived, scripted sights within interpretatives thorns and now I find
Myself pressed, to be nailed unto their judgmentals crucifying cross....
Why; but I know why? As if I am indebted unto they this life of mine yet, how?
O wretched flesh so imperfect you are amid these constant falls as they
Whom close their eyes to look away; that darkness it may be, although
Spawned from the very irony of its own amissful night in poisoned arrows....
Premium Member Christmas In July
Saint Monica's Mission
Tots rushing and jostling, reaching for gifts
Three hundred and two presents we did carry
We drove to the shore, used pallet jack lifts
Children gathered about cheerful and merry
Everywhere bows, ribbons, bright wrapping paper!
Sandcastles decked with candy cane ornaments
Boys and girls enjoying this wild zany caper
Eggnog, carols, and the smell of peppermints
A dapper Santa in his swimsuit chuckling, ho, ho, ho
Grab your boogie boards he bellows, time for a swim
We all shout out, hey Saint Nick, go man go!
Some of the crew followed Santa and joined him
Goodwill and cheer were now within reach
With broad grins, ringing bells, kids thanked us guys
These unfortunates grew joyful this day at the beach
As did Saint Monica's who brought Christmas in July!
Premium Member Ribbons and Bows Fantasy
Ribbons and bows tied to the flames
rose and scorched joy with scars mundane.
Two sick hearts arched in pain’s red stain.
No love to come would be this same.
Now, new fire crackles your sweet name.
I strain for your vision in vain.
Sadly, I feel our love lost aim
inside the youngness of youth's game.
My dreams tangle yesterday's chain
in today's now for love's sweet gain.
Ribbon and bow mementos maim,
treasured pics and trinkets cause pain,
but fantasy love has no strain.
I need our love’s ash-formed refrain
to stay away heart breaks strict reign.
Daydreams dance for us in my brain.
Ribbons and bows tied to the flames
    Sparkling fireworks touch the sky,
Silver stars show shimmering smile
    And I wish my loneliness goodbye.
Ashes of regrets have blown away
    Colourful flames rewarded delight,
I no more sink in painful memories,
    Sparks of joy, have filled the night.
Flames of forgiveness, I embraced
    And my heart has learnt to survive,
I cherish my life and celebrate
    Heat of desires shall keep me alive.
Premium Member The Balcony Bows
The balcony bows like a bridge unmaintained.
Song birds are silent, their hearts uninspired.
Grape vines hunker down as if never trained.
Scarlet petals fall, their fragrance expired.
Shattered is the night sky like sharp glass shards.
Sparks, once in our eyes, liquify the ground.
Minstrels are mute in abandoned courtyards.
Pitter-patter is the refraining sound.
Masquerade faces can no longer hide
from the truth that beauty departs with death.
A dagger divides a young groom and bride;
lamenting cries consume their final breath.
The script is flipped over like clover in mud.
Misconstrued love poisons life-giving blood.
Ribbons and Bows, Tied To the Flames
Friendship held in an open hand,
Trust given, affection unplanned.
Love turns like a calendar page,
One can't quench an inferno's rage.
Golden restraints of space and time,
Faith's cold, divisive paradigm.
Trapped within society's cage,
One can't quench an inferno's rage.
Two souls, two hearts, a song divine,
Mischief of the most grand design.
The piper must be paid his wage,
One can't quench an inferno's rage.
Friendship held with an open hand,
One can't quench an inferno's rage.
Wrapped Amid Ribbons and Bows
Bare unto the world her beauty stood both of us knowing
As smiling within a twinkling and grace filling, her perfect eyes
Cream de cream; amid this yuletides lovely moment afore it's place
Whereupon the stockings be they love, were so gently lain ? She adorned....
Of Creation's vesture a glass her light; holding paradise: Wrapped, in ribbons and bows.
Premium Member Bulbs-Bows- Beer
I've done my part; all the players are laid to rest.
Three wise men gazing at a star.
A gentle beast braying
The lamb with the chipped leg.
A family of three still smiling
Though they lost a little bit more hay.
The season of holly and miracles is over.
Plastic messiah dumped to the back of the closet.
With the bulbs, bows, and happy wrapping paper.
The good food and good mood are gone for another year.
It's back to spam and eggs, A house of chains.
The heavens have surely darkened.
I slide out of the sun and into the Inn.
For some post-holiday tiny gray talk.
A couple of cheers with a chaser of sloppiness.
Bows Fade Away
I am tied together with little pieces of string.
Thin frail ones, tied in little knots—
Not enough string left for a bow.
Shoulder
Elbows
Wrists
Kept together with knots.
String wither over time so another
 I wrap and make into a bow
That bow--over time
Will become just another knot.
Hips
Knees
Ankles
Sometimes I think are broke
My whole body creeps and crawls--just tweaks out.
 Like Miley Cyrus on a wrecking ball.
