Hi Sam. I've taken to reading those Soupers' poems recently that lie buried after their first page just to see what treasures I can uncover. Suffice to say I love this! :) Having read this a few times I'm reminded of a magic painting from your descriptions - the idea of colours magically appearing and coming to life once water is added to a seemingly blank page with a simple brush stroke. Winter bowing to spring. My mind works overtime sometimes but I guess that's poetry. :) Cheers - Gary

This was a fun contest Constance. It has taken me a while to really understand the basics of Imagism but really enjoyed learning more about the form. Thank you for your placement! Your alphabetical contests have been lots of fun! Sending you all the blessings of spring!

Hi JCB! Thank you so much! Winter does get heavy on the soul - like nature in a minor key. I love your perception that spring soothes the soul. Thank you for that lovely thought! Hope you are well. Sending you blessings in the music of spring!

Thank you so much Valsa! You are so welcome! I am so glad you enjoyed the "parade" of spring flowers in a riot of color. It is truly an amazing spectacle to see color return to nature's cloak. In our garden the daphne and jasmina bloom first and then everything seems to follow. Magical! Have a wonderful weekend! Blessings to you!

We think alike Sam. The poem I wrote for Regina’s contest is a lot like this spring poem. You will see what I mean if you get the chance to read it. I can’t believe the similarities. We are indeed kindred spirits my friend. This poem appreciates every nuance of spring. Have great week. Blessings xxoo

Hi Connie! Thank you so much. Early spring, as it shakes off the vestiges of winter, is indeed a rollicking joy ride of color and perfume that we do "appreciate." Had a chance to read your amazing poem. The similarities are striking although I think that your poem is headed straight to the top of the winners list! Will look at Susan's poem as well. Enjoy your spring garden dear friend! Sending you blessings of soft rain and warm sunshine!
