Ribbons and Bows

Ribbons and bows tied to the flames
    Sparkling fireworks touch the sky,
Silver stars show shimmering smile
And I wish my loneliness goodbye.

Ashes of regrets have blown away
    Colourful flames rewarded delight,
I no more sink in painful memories,
Sparks of joy, have filled the night.

Flames of forgiveness, I embraced
And my heart has learnt to survive,
I cherish my life and celebrate
Heat of desires shall keep me alive.
