Best Bhutan Poems
The ballad most widely known
In Bhutan, a heroic tale of Tsewang Tashi.
Like the hero was selected to go
for the battle, so is he chosen to go for war
without armor.
Without armor?
would be your question.
Don't be astonished, for the war
is not against other worlds, neither between
different ethnic groups, but is the war
to combat the deadly disease of 2020,
yes! the pandemic covid-19
spreading quickly in every nation.
But why him?
would be your next question, but ask not
because he is not the king or the ministers
fighting wholeheartedly for the people.
Rather he is included,
to those group, who is on their
responsibility like any other individuals.
Why about him?
ask me that. I Phurchu Zam
like that of the heroic tale, awaits for his return.
Oh! that's about him, but its not.
For it is about Phurchu Zam
resembling my state, with hurdles in heart
massive than that of the man
who went for the war.
It is just a lonely night,
with your warmth lingering around,
just to fade away. The heroic tale
is sung and acted, mourning the tragedy
of nation's great hero. But who have the idea
what Phurchu Zam went through?
With her two fatherless kids,
with her hope like that of wings of a bird.
And that wings were broken,
For there is no hope, waiting for him.
I will wait, Just like Phurchu Zam
as he is my Tsewang Tashi.
Then am I her? No I am not,
For my hero will come
serving our country, with his selfless duty.
For he will be back,
as he knows his Phurchu Zam is waiting
counting on every seconds, for his
RETURN. He will be back,
without a wound in his body
though he went to fight,
A war without armors.
As the dusk takes leave of the weary day,
A new dawn of hope and dreams make its way.
Yesterday's a closed chapter of our life,
Do not rewind your thoughts, it will bring strife.
Reminiscing on past failures bring pain,
Letting your future plans go all in vain.
Why let failure interfere with success,
Move on with perseverance to progress.
A new dawn comes with new hopes and chances,
To let you sail on the sea of success.
Never misjudge your power, let it shine,
Do your best and it shall be fit and fine.
Hark! A dark dusk always bring a bright dawn,
That energises you and gives you brawn.
Do not let failures pose a threat to you,
Failures are disguised chances, note the clue.

I saw in Kathmandu in Nepal
Hand-crafted paintings of the city, aesthetic artistry
She did like him forgot
Suddenly the door sound memory.
I went to the Indonesian island of buttam
Filled eyes saw, the sea shore
I wrote the name of the plane splitting book
Baluchar got to bed rest.
I saw the sea waves Malay
A long line of rows in the garden of the plume,
Malekkara arranged the scene, to me,
It was really fascinating, bhuleni mind.
I saw the Maldives, around the island city
Travel enthusiasts spend hours in the parlor
Small passenger plane shuttled everyone
No it does not flying and landing airport.
I've lived long, the city of dreams
Eternal spring in the country, the love
Took her as his workers,
He went to the city, I saw how much
Are there to touch hands
luxury lifetime pass in Palace.
I traveled in China in technology
Many people say to me they don't understand
I was impressed to see the love of their homeland,
How many state alleges the new angirase
lightning at night I have seen in Beijing.
I went to Hong Kong on the way
He also saw how the people
I am surprised the external mix, fascinating behaviors,
I have no one to tell details.
I have seen skilled people in the Philippines exercises
Again I saw something there to look dirty,
I was shocked to see their culture
Girl brutalized the country.
I went to India, to heal the mind
How many scenes have been unknowingly plunge
I have seen the Taj Mahal in Agra, I thought again and again
Why do we need so much love.
I bent down and touched the high mountains of Bhutan
I shook with fear of their lives when the plane varies
I'm going down through the mountains.
I went to Australia, on the ground
I could not keep my feet,
The fate did not respond to me, warning that day
dream is still chasing me.
I love to this day, do not see the city
I did it in the hope chest, one night,
This is a dream I have traveled on the fog
Logo luxury streets.
At Paro of Bhutan I found the clouds
Gathering over the snow white peaks
Over the summit the deep blue shroud
Kept looking on in dazed disbelief
If one takes up my fountain pen
Or snatches my favourite umbrella
Restless naturally are all the grains
Confusion arrives in the sweet tabla
White clouds start fondling the peaks
Drawings of beautiful chaos emerge
Surge of colourfully deep drum beat
Dance in the white peaks go berserk
Rises from the foothills the peace palm
Lifted in the air from a milky white lotus
In the eyes smiling the poems of psalm
Enjoy in peace, ---says a voice sonorous
I quieted my pen and put down the notebook
In bliss kept fixated my blue pacific look

The Land of Thunder Dragon,
The blest estate of saviour Guru Rinpoche;
The Last Shangri-la reigned by prophesied Wangchucks lineage;
Mighty Palden Mahakaley, the redeemer of the Dragon Power,
Sacred constitution,the holder of peace and order;
Graceful Jekhenpo, the guardian of religious theology
Ye all, the drums, the flute and the trombone bring,
Yellow and orange drangon flag spreads the peace of wings;
Gleeful fairies and deities join to crown His King,
Ere,pay I submit my sublime bow,
With words and hearts with full devout I avow
Song of mirth and serenity we sing and share to the whole beings
Oh,mighty Geser Gyelpo,on the magninoumous throne thou shines,
Showering compassion and happiness from thy heart sublime
The king of might and wise,Drukpas beacon of hope,
Who strives for the welfare of all,the real Pope
Thou espoused humanity, decency and love for all
Bhutan, the land of minute Eden we enthrall
Bhutan, the land of Gross National Happiness,
Unity leading to the Land of tranquil loveliness,
Come ye! Afar, Nightingale, sing thine song of victory;
Far and wide, the great musicians play their song of happiness admiringly
Hark! Thunder Dragon singing above,
Magnificent light sending his happiness and love,
The pristine greenery and serenity of nature sways gleefully ;
Soaring skylarks flourish the tune of peace cheerfully,
Here, the young poet, graciously inking his cordial gratitude ,
Where none can ink and pen his line in verisimilitude,
It's from his unclouded heart that speaks the truest delight
Bring the clarinet,trumpet and saxophone
Let's sing and play your triumphant
Upon thy ascendant we present our earnest acknowledgment
To honour His Gesar and his throne
With equity and tranquillity this nation will breath
Under the magninoumous reign of His King we sheath
Grandeur,thou my potent King,
Thine charismatic reign continues to gleam like endless ring
May the people be blessed forever
With our clean body, mind and speech,
We offer you the prayers.
This poem,I dedicate to the 5th King of Bhutan, coinciding with the Coronation Day of HM Khesar.
The People's King
Sonnet 1.
Drukyul,the Land of Thunder Dragon,
The domain of existent Eden,
Divine constitution with aligned canon,
Ornated Drukpa with complete freedom
Ere thy magnanimous magnanimity I stoop,
For thou art the salt of democratic soil;
Thy magniloquent discourses flutter whole and swoop,
For the nation and people I shalt toil,
To the helm of the nation,I pay my homage,
Let Bhutan sheen nether thy empyreal reign,
Thy art of epitome of kindness,a great heritage,
A doctor of divinity, bequeathing quietude in ceaseless chains.
People's Monarch,May you live in every living heart,
Shine thy Wangchuck glory in evey part.

Note: I dedicate this sonnet to the King of Bhutan,HM Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck to rule his Country under glorious reign. May peace and happiness propagate to whole universe.
White and black clouds on blue sky
And to be the rain around,
Flowers flowering greenish yellow and red color
The nature is beautiful, and everything of nature.
River flow from Bhutan hills in our village
Birds sing sweetly and dancing on trees,
Farmers go to harvest, in the land of agriculture
Go to the womens to give rice.
Servants and farmers make the border
Womens caught fish by jekhai on the river,
The cricket sing afternoon and evening
Halzangkhra would be in the land of agriculture.
The girls go to take bath on river
To take a smiling on thier lips,
Go to pluck vegetables at the banks of river
The proggies provoke to them.
See the himalaya mountain by stretching legs
Fishes are happiness and flock of the heron,
The world in youth in this season
Beautiful and be the form of dark green.
In the world of our reality
Abounds too much bitterness
Let us come to Thimpu
For dews of peace and grace
Green hills surround the cool town
All day long multitude of birds
Blue shadow envelopes our mind
Before Buddha swords calm down
Happy faces of children and grown ups
Handsome flute in their eyes
No much hustle and bustle
Peace-laced liquor in small wine cups
Hill allures the amorous cloud
Clouds embrace the hungry hill
Lovely lovemaking plays out
Crazy turns our cerebral quill
The town sits amidst the vales
In clusters on various slopes
Cottages full of light blue tales
Life in crimson hopes
The capital of Bhutan
Thimpu, the town where
Braids of moonlit woman
Sway in moon-mixed air

I’ve kicked the damn bucket
turned it upside down
pieces of a lae fell out, yards of fabric
hand-woven bright
The spill was tremendous
out came tinksa’s
prayer flags
singing bowls
and melted glass
from Pele
Kneeling in the snow
of winter, in I peer
the bottom is not insight,
wetness shimmers and seas call
oil films
on Northern lights
Before me, before my time
my Grandad played kick-the-can
damn good idea
as toe meets bucket, I howl
perhaps, I will go see
a polar bear!
No regrets fill my bucket
for I want mine full of colored bits of Lhasa
windchimes from Bhutan
Dented, by life marked, decorated
hell morphed, I intend to rise
on comet tails
look for me
in ashes on a wind
in the H i m a l ayas

Thou,be my inspiration, motivation and aspiration,
Thou,be my guidance like father,brother and mother;
Thou, be my close friend, lover and all my admiration;
Thou, mine hope,prospect and ideal advisor;
In harsh and easy, thou walks the thoroughfare majestically,
Raising high head glowing light when in low,
Thou,my Lord Poet, uplifting the juvenile youths intrigue,
Is thine purpose, carrying the spirit of never say never;
Some dispraise and spit, yet, thine heart of gold is not fatigue,
World doth read thee, thine fame soars over world and ether ever,
Known to universe, a wonder Poet from Bhutan,
Whose heart is visionary, guileless, immortal and moral to whole,
Working with devout fealty as in toiling tan,
To serve TSA-Wa-Sum from all his soul;
Yeah,methink,how bless'd was I then
To have met my true encouragement
Let me pen some gratitude from unfain heart ;
Shall thou be all our hearts of compassion and happiness;
There be charm in flow of thine songs and poetry;
Let none come shatter the way towards destination,
Let your poetic soul live everyday
I call my friends and Gods to praise thee,
To form the world of enchanting music evermore.
YOUTHS AND DRUGS
Youths are the nation's pride
They're the precious treasure
Spread all over far and wide
Their values beyond measure
Their minds're fragile as bubble
Characters akin to a wet cement
Easily they jump into trouble
Must act fast, later no lament
Innocence rules them by birth
Environment puzzles the minds
They want happiness and mirth
But some souls simply blinds
Unaware of the consequences
Gets hooked up by addiction
Slowly they lose their defences
Well-wishers turn to benediction
Substances hyptonise his brain
Controlled by them, he's a robot
Helplessness is a dreaded pain
Addiction he has already bought
Late, it isn't to get resurrected
From the abyss of drug's hell
Let your life be fully corrected
And be back to the world, well

Bhutan ????
Everything is 'normal' - the balance has shifted,
even lady footballers have suddenly become gifted,
electric cars and now public trips to the stars,
it's said that certain sexual people may be banned from bars.
I'm not smoking in Bhutan but vaping in Uzbekistan,
the scent of grass is on the US plains, that's hash not ground,
I'm not sure if you're Miss or Mister, must be sinister,
you don't like me cos I'm brown, you'll never have my tan mate.
Everyone's protesting, I'm going to glue myself to someone's ****,
I'll only agree to something, my wishes - if it fits,
I don't like this, I don't like that, cats eyes inventor,
if he'd seen the cat the other way round, he'd have invented the pencil sharpener.
Seriously tho,' we must take action - we will all be gone,
destroyed, God's beautiful plan - until the next one comes along.
A full moon
never amazes me
ever like before
Whenever I see it
thoughts of my dad
occupies my mind
And I couldn't embrace
cold rays
Instead heat waves
hit my face
A full moon
won't help me pen
verses like before
Cos, It was
On a guru poornima day
On a full moon night
My dad's soul merged with god
It was on July 5 2020 ( A full moon day and also guru poornima) and today is the full moon day of this month and also guru poornima)
Wikipedia:
Guru Purnima (Poornima) is a tradition dedicated to all the spiritual and academic Gurus, who are evolved or enlightened humans, ready to share their wisdom, based on Karma Yoga.[6] It is celebrated as a festival in India, Nepal and Bhutan by Hindus, Jains and Buddhists. This festival is traditionally observed to honour one's chosen spiritual teachers or leaders. It is observed on the Full Moon day (Purnima) in the Hindu month of Ashadha (June–July)
