Believing

~

Come with me a’ walking
this chilly autumn eve
Along the vast horizon
where two hearts can believe

Following the sunset
winding down the way
Leading to our paradise
in nature’s found display

Shaded by an oak tree
you and I we lie
Contemplating every dream
under an amber sky

Counting constellations,
heavenly the bliss
Sharing in the solitude
a stardust shimmered kiss

Mesmerizing beauty,
enchanted by the sight
Holding you within my arms
this cool November night

Waiting for a twilight song
to flow in from above
As we linger for a while
believing in our love

My darling
I miss you oh so much
Tears flow like a rampaging river
Whisper my name like a melody on the breeze
Being together, safe in your loving arms is all I need
I rouse from my slumber alone, dreaming you will return to me one day

Believing
Written: by Miracle Man
December 6 2020

I remember the day I first began believing,
To things of this world I’d long been cleaving.
Cancer was camping in my right Parotid gland,
The day I grasped Jesus’ outstretched hand.
Cancer had branded and trademarked me,
Would I then fight back, or just take a knee?
But I knew, alone, I couldn’t beat this villain,
I needed the real deal, not an earthly fill in.
I fell down at His feet and started praying,
Knowing that He would hear what I was saying.
I wanted to be saved so I wouldn’t die lost,
I prayed forgive me Lord, whatever your cost.
I knew help would come only through His power.
and I accepted Jesus, as my savior, that hour.
I was twenty eight years during my hospital stay,
now at eighty two years I’m still alive today.

Premium Member Faith Means Believing

Faith means believing
If there is a chance in the million
You could be the one who gets it

Faith means giving yourself the benefit of the doubt
Being happy with what you have accomplished
Focusing on the things you did right today

Whatever you tell your brain, she believes you
So be kind to yourself. Be optimistic. Be forgiving.
Dance your own dance, bring out the feathers.

If you want to wear a tutu, wear a tutu.
If you want to wear your zebra pajamas, wear your zebra pajamas.
Take care of yourself. Nurture yourself. Love yourself.

If there are things in your background that hurt you,
Speak to your child self. Tell her you will take care of her.
Assure her that you will not accept meanness of any kind toward her.

Above all, live your life as a beacon of hope to others.
Show them that you can twirl and whirl and be crazy with giddiness
About being you. God does not make mistakes.

When echoes of nocturnal ricochet over the nights,
Ebony and stardust fill my heart,
Erasing the sun’s gaze, inspiring the moon to blaze
With its tempting song, singing all night long –
I remember the dreams that bring rhythm to my feelings,
Tempt me to believe, even though I can’t quite see
The reality is… struggles and pains, difficulties
Gain impetus, waking the pines, the golden birch,
In hues of longing, they sigh, breathing hope
Through the moments, through the life, like an alibi
A knowing that this is the day when love is blowing
Through the skies, winds alive with insight –
Braving every distant thunder, even the lightening
Can’t survive the delight, the stirring of a sight far more alive,
Beautiful as the truth, amusing the night with its vision,
Focusing in on the secret treasure, the bold flames
Success in faded feelings, inspirations awakening the embrace
Of promises left to breathe…

This dream, in flavors of wonder and peace,
Melodies rich and brave, focused on feeling – gentling
Darkness, rousing the sensitivity of a light falling soft
On the heart… imagining the source of all hope,
The One who reminds my heart, my soul, each dream
Is alive like the seed He planted inside of me,
A seed who believes… and you see, He nourishes the seed
With grace, kindness, mercy – a inkling of what it means
To love without conditions, love with the conviction
That love is openhanded, like the dream who survives
The darkness of night, the struggle with fear, the reasons…

So many reasons to doubt, yet – the dream lives
And on and on we continue, dreaming like sleep can never keep us
From thinking of this reason for believing – just believe
And, in time, if the dream doesn’t fade, it will become a reality,
The makings of a history…

Dream on… believe, and never leave this dream in the dust,
Where it might fade into the shadows of the past
Dream on… believe, and hearts will soon be fulfilled!

Premium Member She'Ll Always Go On Believing

Sue doesn’t sit so demurely in her motorised wheelchair.
She’ll tell folks to stop gawking as it's very rude to stare!
Beneath her tenuous frame is quite a formidable young girl,
born with brittle bones but in her wheelchair she can twirl.

Sue’s parents sadly told her that her condition is immutable.
She is bereft of strong limbs, but her courage is irrefutable.
Despite a recent interlude in hospital, she's always cheerful.
Don’t treat her like she’s invisible or you may get an earful!

She loves to sketch caricatures in her artist’s drawing book
and in her specially adapted kitchen Sue is learning to cook.
Her physical disability will not prevent her from achieving
and her aphorism of life's always been, ‘Never stop believing

Sue loves to spend time wheeling around the garden paths,
watching chirping sparrows joyfully splashing in bird baths.
She paints canvases filled with butterflies and lovely flowers.
Sometimes she is quite content to sit there and read for hours.

If you are feeling sorry for Sue, don't give it another thought.
In her scarlet wheelchair, she's accepted what life has wrought.
Each day she finds something to appreciate that gives her a thrill.
In truth, she sees more beauty in life than most of us ever will.

Never Stop Hoping and Believing

This is a poem 'bout those moments when you've had enough
and it feel like you get no answer from above
I know you're not where you wanna be
what the future hold you cannot see
It is all about hoping and believing
that soon you'll be living what you were once only dreaming

I know what you go through is frustrating as well
and those crazy days you feel locked in a cell
The anger, frustration, the "whatever I'm done"...
and you think you will never shout "oh yes I won"

Wanting to give up "who cares anyway?"
"Nothing was great bout this day" you say
but never my dear stop hoping and believing
that soon you'll be living what you were once only dreaming

You're strong and you will live your dream
even though impossible now it seem
Wait on God's time, He will give you the best
'cause God and I know you deserve nothing less

Smile be positive and always be you
tell yourself "with all negative I'm through"
And NEVER EVER stop hoping and believing
that soon you'll be living what you were once only dreaming

Don'T Stop Believing

I told you not to stop dreaming
Told you never to stop hoping
But I guess you couldn't hold back from screaming
Guess you couldn't master the art of coping

But darling, it's not too late
Don't stop believing too soon
The world is not only filled with hate
Your world seems darker than the moon

How have you managed for so long?
To cling onto this night sky
Staying so so strong
Whilst always wanting to cry

How have you managed to live without hope?
It's like your soul is gone
Your life resembles a skipping rope
As if you are always trying to go on

That all changes now darling
No one can live without the substance known as dreams
Dreams are sparkling
It's up to you to go and drown those screams

Don't stop believing in yourself
Because dreams take us places
They take us out of the darkness
And into the spaces

Those spaces of light and hope, of happiness and wonder
They take you out of the thunder

So don't stop believing
Everything will be alright

(1) I Defy All the Obstacticle's (Believing In Prayer's)

I thought I couldn't make it, I thought, there's no-need in trying to fake it. I thought I
couldn't make it, couldn't even if I tried. One thing I had going for me was the strength
of prayer, the desire too try and shake it. The enemy use to laught at me, probably threw
party after partie's, had me the object of an pitifull degree. But like I said earlier, prayer's
are the commodity that give's giddy preference when one has given-up, still defying all the
obstacle's, treating life with stupidity. Many if not all people, do and will fall, fall-down the
ladder of life, the censentsus of marriages(why problems occur) and with no answer coming
in a timely fashion, and if one or all began to doubt the sainthood of the prosturity of trust
and surity. I thought I couldn't defy all the obstacle's, my selfishness lead to a private war,
predicated to a underscribable spell, and as I sank deeper and deeper(lump un throat) one
day with gun in hand, suicide became a source of a beginning instead of an ending (so I tho-
ught). My hand was trembling fuseily, to kill, steal your joy of life, the enemy must have been
smiling that dreadfull day, the day I thought to end it all. Tear's running down my face-out of
nowhere, a disturbing noise of siren's outside startle me, I later learn they were there for me.
Someone care enought to call when I didn't answer the phone, I had mention earlier--when
life had seem empty and blue, "that I no longer desire to live". So they prayed-and then the
authoritie's was call, arriving just at the nick of time. How could I allow things to get so bad.
It was so sad(so I thought) many times the God of yesterday, today, and tomorrow, he didn't
hear me, nor did I thought of love and peace for my sorrow.
"I defy all the obstacle's", the enemy tried to stored in my head. Now I know the reason for
life is the oddity of hate and the present of fate. That prayer's are the life-line that show's
him where is your faith, that you can carry to him, all the hardship one if not all shall face.
"The author of creation teaches love eternally is the essence that signified all that's difficult
when facing that (monster) always remember." "I defy all the obstacle's" :

Knowing and Believing

I believe
Because I don’t know

I know the sun rises in the east and sets in the west
I know spring follows summer
Summer follows autumn
Then winter

But do I know God exists?
No, I don’t
That's why I believe

Why do you believe?

Because it gives me hope
It gives me strength
To march on with my life

My mother believed

She lost first three babies
Even before they could walk and talk

During WWII
She lost her son when he was 15
He volunteered to join Japanese army
To save his father from prison
After the war he came home injured
And died a year later

After liberation from Japan
His oldest son was labelled a communist
In the democratic south
Police harrased her
Day and night
'Where is your son hiding?'
'I don't know, Sir'
Was her only reply

During the Korean War
She saw her husband walking away
Between two soldiers
Never to return

All through her married years
She was harassed by Japanese police
Harassed by North Korean soldiers
Harassed by South Korean police

But she marched on
With her head straight
Her heart in compassion

She prayed without ceasing
Asking God for strength
To march on with her travails

She lived to ninety two long years
And left this world
With smile on her face

Premium Member Keep On Believing

Keep on believing

When I think back...
on my life so far,
the good and bad
have shared equal time

Though ups and downs...
have been hard to face,
believing kept my faith alive

Chorus
So, keep on believing...
this evil world,
will try to break you down
So, keep on believing...
the waters may surround you,
but you won't drown
So, keep on believing...
only faith can keep you,
anchored to solid ground

You may have tried...
foolish things,
to help to ease the pain,
to quell the deep fears inside

but, this old world...
will soon pass away,
only faith leads to eternal life

Chorus
So, keep on believing...
this evil world,
will try to break you down
So, keep on believing...
the waters may surround you,
but you won't drown
So, keep on believing...
only faith can keep you,
anchored to solid ground

I've learned it's not money...
that will save you,
and keep you from harm

Trusting in God,
who will never fail you,
and obey him,
when he sounds the alarm

Chorus
So, keep on believing...
this evil world,
will try to break you down
So, keep on believing...
the waters may surround you,
but you won't drown
So, keep on believing...
only faith can keep you,
anchored to solid ground

so, keep on believing,
He'll never ever let you down
so, keep on believing,
He'll never ever let you down
so, keep on believing,
He'll never ever let you down

fade

Seeing Is Believing

Seeing is Believing

Souls and spirits come our way
but very few will let them stay,
for most could never bear the shame
of being classified insane.

So even those who know it's true
that dead folk can be living too,
convince themselves that they are wrong
so they can sing 'accepted' song.

Every faith of every creed
is grown from just a single seed,
the one that says that life goes on
when all our earthly time has gone.

And most proclaim beyond the grave
the souls of their disciples gave,
proof positive that they survive
and beyond death they're still alive.

But say that you have seen dead folk
and most will think that you're a joke,
imagination running wild
they'll treat you like a stupid child.

The parson and the parish priest
will tell you, you can't see deceased
and some will go as far to say
it's devils work, you must not play!

But simple folk like you and me
all have ability to see
the ones who walked this way before
the ones who most folk just ignore.

The joy of meeting closest friends
the joy of love that never ends
the joy of knowing in your heart
that friends survive when they depart.

Surly this is worth the pain
of hearing some say you're insane.
Open your eyes, your ears and mind
and then believe the things you find.

Believing We Are Forever Lovers

When love captures your soul
Putting everything on this amazing roll
Spirit unfolding right before your eye's
Your heart is pounding totally mesmerized
Seeing your life become synchronized
With all that lives so deep inside

While we are learning to fly
Shooting our love across the sky
Spelling out all the answers why
Coming together as one is the best kind of high
Knowing commitment is never saying goodbye

The only tears falling
Are the ones that come calling
Of our bond to each other
That makes us both want to hover
Around all the love we have yet to discover
Believing we are forever lovers

Like when a whispering wind captures your heart
Living all of life's amazing parts
True love means we will never depart
The kind of love we have known from the start
Love is what we make it
So we should never fake it or break it

Rather make it our own
The kind of love that never stops growing
With piece of mind of both of us knowing
Our love is always flowing
In a place, our hearts are truly glowing

Premium Member Faith

Faith is purity shining in a newborn’s eyes,
the strong knowing rooted in their helplessness
that prevents any worries over dependency;
it's witnessing nature declare all light gone
just as it diligently places the morning sun;
watching animals innately attend to survival;
it's believing the never aging, familiar voice
that is ever alert within each human's chest;
and it's all one’s human reflexes often deny
while one’s spiritual senses feel-testify
an omnipotent Papa wove each soul's karma.
