Warrior

I know your heart is hurting
The pain is deep and real
Residing there for way too long
Without the chance to heal
Grief has since settled in your core
And you now see the damage done
The aches are felt in layers
Losses piled up, one by one

A big, brave step you took that day
Leaving that toxic life behind
You beared the wrath for many years
Ignoring how you felt inside
One can only persevere so long
Until you have to make a change
So, though the journey's scary now
And the road ahead feels strange

Be kind and patient with yourself
And soon you'll come to see
The timing of this moment
Is exactly what you need
For when your brokenness lets the light in
Rebuilding that valiant man inside
Keep the faith and stand your ground
And the Warrior in you will shine

Premium Member The Man of the Hour

The caricature of a gentleman, nameless, scorned,
The infamous savage of the famous street was wobbling:
Scruffy, shaggy, ruffed beared, tousled haired,
Disheveled,
there went the odious appearance, bumbling.
Soubriquet: lunatic, fierce, rowdy with murky torn clothes,
Was sitting stigmatic with grubby means,
Was teased and thrown stones,
To drive away from the decorous street!

He was spotted pitied with meagre chuck,
While feeding a destitute;
Taunting and sneering didn't perturb him,
Gave his share simpering, only to be starved!

The antithesis of savage, the man of the hour,
Silently paved his way then, bare footed tottering,
To be again the savage of the decorous street!

The Unsung Hero

I thought for a moment that
he never felt the PAINS,
When he beared the
burden of our guilts and
STAINS.
You can't imagine what he
went THROUGH,
for him to wipe away all of
our sins THROUGH.
You can't imagine the
whole of the SHAME,
when he left all his fortunes
and FAME.
His head was punctured by
THORNS,
and his body was tortured
untill his cloth was TORN.
They put the nail throught
his hands and FEET,
even as his imaculate and
pure heart BEAT.
He cried out all of tears
from his EYES,
untill his eyes were as dry
as ICE.
They piassed his palm to
the STAKE,
For all of human SAKE.
He didn't have to do it, but
he did it ANYWAY,
for us to change from our
evil WAYS.
He really love us so much
that he took our PLACE,
In sacrificing himself for the
whole of human RACE.
He died for our sins as if
he's the ONE,
in expense of our freedom
cos he WON.
He was humilated in front
of MANY,
And as dejected by MANY.
They gave him the heavy
cross to CARRY,
with so much hatred and
MOCKERY.
He was whipped and
scourged so HARD,
that his screems can be
heard from 10 YARDS.
The stood there at calvary
and watch him DIE,
After all the false
accusations and LIES.
Even when he screemed '
IT IS FINISHED',
The whole world knew that
' IT WAS FINISHED '.
His blood paid that great
price for our SINS,
For us to be free from our
guilt and SINS.
He died bearing the burden
of our INIQUITY,
for the betterment of the
world and all HUMANITY.
It wasn't easy for him to do
IT,
But at d end, it was worth
IT.

Skipping Stones

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Skipping stones across the still quite waters
While as enclosed within these submerged thoughts....
Pondering this blanket of fogful mist alongst the path, have I tread and beared
As in time as in life as of recent days
Allowing shadows their moments somehow, someway?!
Lost amid the backwards brush of a translations, understanding....
Interpretations tattood upon my heart like an inverted crossing
Blood drenched quills soaked in cardinal red
Etched upon the caverns walls of what should have been said
These words this verse a world and then!?
Skipping stones from my very own Souls bleeding wounds
In gushing currents caught to seep through this they rent
Poisoned dreams; saturated walls aneath ripplings effects....
Rising dunes across quicksand deserts born in the mires; deeper and deeper
Into sedations daze as the storm clouds quickly gather above
Translations from these interpretations of, so called love?!
But how could this be and why I ask myself again
As the undertow of riptides begin to draw them in; further, into their sin...
Blood atop the pages to be extracted this breath of life
Life, that I have longed to embrace; to present
Spilled until its love had morphed into something bent!?
Stepping back from the edge now, upon this mountains cliff
The valley below amid chasteless darkness beckoning unto my Spirit
Calling from beyond; enticing tongues soaked in the stillness of, cortege red....
From Heaven To Baby
Who wants to be old,
All achy and cold,
All wrinkled,
All slow,
Unable to hold...
Onto anything dear,
So filled with fear,
So fragile,
So weak,
So stuck in one gear...
Like a car that's been used,
Sometimes abused,
So dented,
So broken,
So battered and bruised...
With a long white beared,
With vision impaired,
With teeth missing,
Nose running,
And still no one cared...
But now I can't hide,
From the joy inside,
From meeting you,
Once,
Before I died!
Me, You and Crazy World
YOU, ME AND CRAZY WORLD
When I can carry both of us,is when I can touch success,
I have been thinking of how, to make you scream not just a wow,
Its not all about the night, happiest time is just before sunlight,
My hopes sometime still missing like am on the wrong side of green,
I cant bear the space beared by my place until I see my door.
Hey you..i say when I try not to forget, but always worthied,
I don’t care what they say, the Kodak moments still on my face?
the world will always be like that, don’t mind what karma is,
Best is to put it to past brushing the shoulder play the 8 mile.
That’s how will put it up three fingers up more often than one.
Its frightenning leaving all to fate,I dint want it if it wasn’t  for God .
They only see the power in prayer, and seem not to start with respect .
Decision is not always from Knowledge  but sin is fully known.
I like to call your  name because its all a mystery  you don’t leave me.
Life will eternally be there just make sure you learn and not run thru.
Can we get much higher from the fire,wake up and we start the page,
Breath the fresh air up here, like happiness by William with a sheriff hat,
Still Pushing it to the limit, I believe on the long wait in this tunnel.
The light is not even the end so dive in and continue riding on.
For Free is forgiviness: let it go just remember what you and me believe.
Time
Saw us come, watched us grow
Will witness the day we must go...on
Saw us through the wounds we beared
Shared the tears we shed
For all we cared...
Lent us smiles that warmed our hearts
Never asked to be repaid
Like Mother's love
Gives and gives...
Nurtures all we are
Like Father's foresight
Knows that day must come
When days must end.
Happy Veterans Day Unto All!
Veterans of the cold and driving drenching rains
The barren parched soils of near and distant lands
Whom have beheld the devestations and the carnage
That wars and battles have brought and bring
Whether they have been justified, or even manipulated by man
It does not matter; for you have placed your precious lives, upon deaths planes
That another might live, or find freedom within your wake
Christ once said, "that greater love hath no man
Than to lay down their life for their friend...."
And today and always and forever, I shall salute you
With a heart that loves and admires and grieves
Your courage your heroisms and your sacfifices
Whatever colors your uniforms they have beared
Whatever wars your lives have fought....
To both the living and the unforgotten dead
Within times now, or the times of the days of the ancient past
I shall humbly lift by this reverent rose stemmed glass
Its crystalline filled with the bittersweet wines
Poured more sweetly than bitter, within these thankful hands
As thoughts of you all amid your glories
Shall ever before my eyes walk these paths past....
And remember to never become discouraged, by those whom might not understand?
For your priceless lives and eternal souls, shall someday rise again~
As I bow my head and bend my knee
Clutching my heart with thoughts of thee
Upon this your day, of deserving memory
And not only we, but all of Heaven, shall forever salute you....
Breaking February
The day is filled with cracks,
     that spills into the evening
s h a t t e r e d   eggshells
                  that can't be beared to be buried,
only placed carefully with the dried leaves...
A dog's fractured leg piercing the night air—
a heart,
that still crumbles, since it remembers
...fragmented windows that still spill tears
Mashed'''',,,, Squished and Stitched----
Sighs yet again
a fold here,
a crease there
origami wings
that are limp,
drenched
looking pretty lonely and pathetic
under, that, crying, sky, , , ,
                               , , , ,
/////
It ironically fits well
into the day that is filled with cracks,
     that spills into the evening----
s h a t t e r e d   eggshells
                  that can't be beared to be buried,
only placed carefully with the dried leaves...
If only for a moment,
I keep my cradle of tears at bay,
as I let the moon do the weeping for me.
A mental tracking back
of the weeks, days, hours, minutes;
Let the scientist return to inference
Walk back to the time of hope and grief--
The dendrobium. The grasshoppers. The twisted bonsai.
Looking behind,
the footprints
are still there... .   .   .    ..
Wash them away
with waves of laughter,
Erase all vestiges of me.
Forget I was ever here;
that should be easy
...I never meant much to you anyway
Striving For Better Life
----starting from the buttom-----
When I was born I couldn't spell
A story that I can't even tell
But I bet all I ever completed in my life was to sell
I ate a egg with a shell
A smell I can't forget
I remember it like it was yesterday
Through my darkest days I will find my brightest bays.
Well,success is the song I sing..I'm not here to sin.
Though people think that I'm a sinner I know deep down my soul
that I'm a writer
It felt like
I kept my dreams
My meals was so horrible like a rotten creams...
I sold Everything I sow.....
And the things I saw was terrible
Hoping that my imagination will oneday lead me to my perfection
A slope I cannot elope
But beared What I was told...
My hopes hidden in my pains
And never be ruined when it rained.
People undermine ,people underestimate.
Buh the pride they have will never influence my ride.
Because somewhere in the future I will rise..
Life full of possibilities and responsibilities.
Is almost like I can't do it right.
But I can do it quite Fine.
That is my accomplishments
I knew that life will not be like this forever...
Indeed life is new..
Through my poorest days I found my richest says
But I know when I'm old...
I will hold What I sold
Just because I was told...
That somewhere in the future I will hold
Nothing but Gold.
------Now I'm Here-------
Premium Member With Love and Thanks, Mom
My Darling Mother,
How lovely you were as a new bride
     Your green eyes glowed with pride
          as you stood with Dad at your side
You shared my love for writing poetry
      so as I sit in the shade of your pecan tree,
          I write this as though you were next to me
               ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Seventeen and a city girl who married a farmer
without knowing one thing about being a wife.
I remember you telling me Dad was a charmer
and together you shared a hard but happy life.

I always admired the many things you did for me.
You listened intently when I had reasons to worry.
I know there were moments when we didn't agree,
but things worked out with a happy end to our story.

Your love for Dad and the three children you beared
was the kind of love every child needs so very much.
You made a home for us in which we always shared
your comforting affection; gentleness of your touch.

Mom, I hope you knew how much I looked up to you
and appreciated your help when my babies were born.
You had boundless patience showing me what to do
and never once corrected me in a voice full of scorn.

I'm truly sorry if I ever made you sad or caused your tears.
As a mother I know now what I must have put you through.
I fully understand your anxiety and your unnerving fears,
so with all my heart I thank you, Mom, just for being you.

Premium Member Before I Say Goodbye

Before I say goodbye, to this world we live in, let me first begin!!!

Begin to give thanks for every breath that I take, for the friends that weren't fake, for a life without hate! For the knowledge I've gained even when there was pain. For the life that I chose, who really knows! For I am still life to behold.

Before I say goodbye, to this world we live in, let me first begin!!!

Begin to cherish the children I've beared, even through times when no father was there. To cherish the growth of future generations, who shall one day maybe run this nation, yours, mines, ours!!!

Before I say goodbye, to this world we live in, let me first begin!!!

Begin to reflect on the beginning of it all, as far as I can remember, I was four years old, and I stood just as tall as my first walking doll! Life was care free, I just wanted to be me, how hard could that be!!!

Before I say goodbye, to this world we live in, let me first begin!!!

Begin to acknowledge my daughters, my mother, my father, my sister, my brothers, aunts, uncles, grandparents cousins who have always loved me. I could not have asked for a better family tree. Your love is magnified within me.

Before I say goodbye, to this world we live in, let me first begin!!!

Begin to pray, and give praise for living, breathing, loving, for all of you who came into my life, for God and Jesus always by my side, for shared memories, and special friends, "No" this is not the end!!!
It's before I say goodbye to this world we live in!!!!

The Journey Beyond

Just in a twinkle of an eye
A shining star goes off the sky
Before liniment could get to the aching sore
The transition is made through the exit door
Faster than the drop of rain from the cloud
The bell of judgment rings aloud
The sky goes blue
And the journey of life goes into review
Going from light to dark
Leaving behind a distinguish mark
Flashes of timeline and memories
That of happiness and those of miseries
Starting from the first seconds at birth
To the very last minute on earth
From every action
To it opposite reaction
From every drop of tears shed
To every strain of pain beared
From numerous evil that was suffered
To the few good that was whole heartedly offered
It goes on and on and on
Round every deed done under the sun
Bringing to a climax a journey of self discovery
A fairy tale of soul recovery
It sure will come at an unpredicted time
That unknown seconds which hunts us through our
life time
The hour that expires on the body the garment of flesh
And an immortal life starts afresh
Accounting for every deed done in the land of the
living
How we all carried out all our lives bidding
Every lies that was told
To every truth that was withhold
From our given abilities
To the way we best carry out our responsibilities
So ask yourself my friend
Where will you gonna end
On the side of the truth
Or those that will face his wrath
Is it going to be a jolly ride home
Or wishes and regrets in a tome
The choice is us to make
And the path is us to take
