Best Bangles Poems

Black Bangles
I had a dozen of black bangles
Carried for tingles
Sign of a benign presage
Wore to envisage
Beauty; but not the ugly

Taking toll for a fight
Dad called me black
Mom gave a sympathetic glance
Unaware I was till then
Believed in the beauty of night till then
Adored the unpredictability of darkness...

The Glass Bangles
The glass bangles
The red glass bangles
The red glass bangles that adorned
The brown, round wrist
The translucent, red glass bangles
That so beautifully captured the sun’s beam
To imprison it within itself
And subtly gleam
The red glass bangles
That adorned the brown, round wrist
Restlessly waiting to tinkle
At the slightest...

Baubles, Bangles, and Nose Bleeds
You Quiz-puzzlers out there,
I hope you take care,
And don't sucumb to high blood pressure,
Please don't implode like the good sub, U.S.S. Thresher,
So take it in stride,
With the answers I do hide,
And you'll wake up all that much fresher...

Well some they say though straight or gay
Get fun from innuendo
While others wait ‘til dark
To get their kicks outside your window

Some do the deed without a sound
Some labour in the dark
While others roars would wake the dead
Some sing out like a lark

Variety’s the spice of...

Your Bangles' Symphony
My ears follow your bangles' symphony,
with closed eyes I see our sky,
rapture in horizon.

Bangles
lost bangles
scatter in gold circles
under the marital bed
twisted sheets
crossed by afternoon sunlight
at our feet
quick breaths
recovery
rapture...

BANGLES, BRACELETS AND SINGS

I guess I have to get used to the little things
not the bangles, bracelets and rings
but the way she puts things in order
my,she must have been an obedient daughter

I guess I have to trade the big for the small
the things only she...

Bangles are not trinkets, they are symbols
Meaning specific things.
Prisha has accepted Dia’s hand in marriage.

Bangles of Rhyme
I wanna give you my bangles of rhyme
Will you go with me on the path of time

I wanna keep you in my heart
Even if we are worlds apart

I wanna see your smile always
I know your heart is my best place

I wanna love you more and...

Glass Bangles
Shattered pieces of glass bangles
Stepped on one and pierced my foot
The pain was not much as compared to
that which numbed my mind….

You were gone that day
The glass pieces fallen in array
Revealing the story of my shattered life
A dream gone askew….

Nostalgic times of picking pieces...

If that rainbow could be molded
Into a perfect circle of love
I’d wear them on my wrists
Made of molten glass that twists

Embellished with stars
Stolen from the night
Clinking and jingling kaleidoscope
A soothing sound and sight

My eye’s reflect each colour
Bouncing off the sun’s light
Twirling them around and around
Dangling...

Kengs Mettalic Bangles
It was Jazba and lots of Chewed Khat
That saw me enter an altercation
With them boys in blue add a rivally
Between service men and Guradians
The sworn rivally the had just crossed
The thin blue line and now twas war
They knew and were ready for it..

An ovepowering...

Golden Raven
I was on a plantain branch
Cra cra… Cra cra.. Craa..
She put her bangles on a rock
Glimpse of gold, shined my eyes
I took it and flew back home.

A cry of fury trembling hut,
I wonder why she made that fuss.
With a bit of twinge I shout,
“One...
