The Glass Bangles
The glass bangles
The red glass bangles
The red glass bangles that adorned
The brown, round wrist
The translucent, red glass bangles
That so beautifully captured the sun’s beam
To imprison it within itself
And subtly gleam
The red glass bangles
That adorned the brown, round wrist
Restlessly waiting to tinkle
At the slightest tilt
It decorates the plump wrist
Like the rainbow in the sky
Making the wrist more feminine
And appealing to the eye.
The delicate glass bangle
Cannot boast of a long life
But in the short span of time
Cause splashes of happiness
To a life full of strife…..
