Best Autocrat Poems

Premium Member Poetry and Me

“This poetry. I never know what I'm going to say.
I don't plan it.
When I'm outside the saying of it,
I get very quiet and rarely speak at all.”
Rumi

Poetry,
sometimes you can be cruel,
manipulating me to express thoughts
which I've secretly suppressed.
You poach pieces of my soul,
massacring my masculinity,
revealing my vulnerabilities -
you make me look like a fool.

Have you become the definition of my silence?

Poetry,
your introduction intoxicated my muse,
bursting drunken lyrics through my veins,
confusing my grammatical accuracy,
acting like an angry alpha autocrat artist,
assassinating my adverse alternative alliterations.
My vocabulary is helpless against your stubbornness.

Poetry,
Sometimes I hate you,
when you are erratic and brutal,
bleeding unfairly against my will,
causing pain through vicious verses,
but, sometimes I love you,
when you bring soothing serenity,
flowing sweetly from my calming quill.

Poetry,
You are a restless rebellious catharsis.
I don't know if you are a blessing or a curse.
My life is repression on repeat,
I'm somewhat an expert,
yet you create a pathway to open doors,
creating a balance in an unstable world.

Poetry,
I remember when I forgot you.
In your unwritten absence,
my heart resembled a blank canvas,
but then you returned like a snowstorm in June,
reminding me of Rumi's beloved spirit.
Now you consume my mind,
my speech and my tone -
overtaking a tongue's desires to remain mute.

Poetry,
I never cared for rhymes,
until you found me at a time of soul searching,
blooming evergreen words to leave a legacy behind.

I was lost without you.

What Gets On My Nerves

You want to know what annoyeth me? Let me count the ways!
I could weave a veritable tapestry of all my aggravations, mostly in
light and deep crimson hues which signify the violence in my Heart.
Easily I could write a novel that reads like a laundry list of everything that
vex me to no fathomable End.

Pretentiousness, which is the ultimate Sin of Sins, maddens me more
than mere meager words can describe or accurately articulate. An example, perhaps?
Someone who claims to be a better poet than Shakespeare! Such heinous poetic heresy and blatant blasphemy! ONE WORD: HA!

Let's see...what else? Oh, how I loath- despise! an unannounced and
unexpected visitor, a "knock, knock" that sends shivers, like shards of glass,
down my disturbed spine. Yes, I know all about Jesus. No, I don't want to come to your church but I'll smile, be polite and friendly as I decline the invitation, then send you off on your merry way to pester someone else with your nonsense and throw your "literature" in the trash. I wish I lived in an impregnable fortress surrounded by a moat and guarded by ten-thousand Pinkerton Guards. They never sleep.

Driving, what a bedeviling task! Anyone remember the old video game "Spy Hunter" where your vehicle was equipped with bombs and lasers and such? How I wish my car had a machine gun or rocket-launcher turret to get everyone out of my way! Going too slow? KABOOM! Didn't use your turn signal? Ratta-tat-tat-tat-tat-t-a-t-t...-a...-t. So long, buster!

Bad hair-do's are ALMOST as sinful and unforgivable as pretentiousness. I cannot abide a bad hair-do. It's a good thing I'm not a socio/psychopathic autocrat or I would have anyone with an offensive coif shot on sight. When I was in school and big, poofy Aqua-Net shellac soaked , giant crunchy big bangs were all the rage, I took great delight in smashing those immense, granite-like monstrous and monumental mega-pompadours. Some of those do's were hard as bricks, like they were surrounded and protected by some kind of hair force-field. I demolished many a poof in my youth!

This diatribe is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. I could on and on and on and on and on and on...but I'll trail off here...

Dragonfly

Aquatic nymph to dragonfly.
   A rainbow coloured acrobat,
With diamond facets in each eye.

Feeding on wing, as they terrify,
Their prey of wasp, to midge and gnat.
   Aquatic nymph to dragonfly,

   It's changing colours do belie,
   This natures fearsome autocrat.
With diamond facets in each eye,

Diaphanous wings to soar on high,
   A fearless creature in combat.
   Aquatic nymph to dragonfly,

It's flights of fancy in the sky,
   Weaving a rainbow ribboned plait.
With diamond facets in each eye,

One final act before they die,
   Creating life. - ensuring that,
   Aquatic nymph to dragonfly,
Yet both are one, to swim, then fly.

Premium Member A Wish For Peace To Appease

A heartfelt tribute to Ukraine and its people,
and all other nations and their citizens, for patriotically defending
their motherland against tyranny and cruelty.

A Wish For Peace To Appease

It will be light soon, yet an upheaval devastates to extremes
Time sadly blanket bleakness on landscapes and of the living
Finding serenity missing, tears upon cheeks flow into ravines
A pledge corroded without a word, no whisper, nor a warning

Rippling wave of human despair triggered by war heightened
Fear inundated with rage the gleam of the sun cannot soothe
Battered fragments of hope palpable in the eye of the pained
In essence, dejection needing real salvation, remain resolute

Casualties in armed conflicts derails even the most tenacious
The innocence of youth deprived of innate maternal embrace
Ambiguity is a lingering reality to those in the midst of chaos
While peace seems elusive, a unifying force unveils the maze

To patriots needing to depose autocrat invading their country
Crafting silver bullets aimed at vile men flaunting supremacy
My heartened spirit stands alongside and honor their bravery
They will undeniably reclaim freedom with dignity, in victory!

Caught In a Cats-Hat

Caught in a Cats-hat

You obviously admire the bestiality of a canine,
Hence , you probably find me rather asinine
And the confident swagger of a *****-cat
Is grossly superior to the airs of this pretensive plutocrat.

So you will , alas, never be my concubine,
Due to my propensity for the libertine,
(not to mention the table wine)
I do not have the means of an autocrat
And have only the sensibilities of a pornocrat.

Your disposition to adore the canine and the feline
Makes me feel like a philandering Philistine.
I will always be such a yellow-dog democrat
That I quite threaten to knock off your high hat.

And now for the denouement, my valentine,
For your humble blessings I repine
For the company of furry, felinous, feral Sumi-cat
I do so miss inhabiting her habitat.

LIFE

Royal banking, in the mist of dilemma. Money buy my instinct. Full defeat possession. Valley of misery. I sing the song of false hope. My name is known in forbidden mountains. I am no longer having my courage in a lonely life I am living. Money run the world but nor buy love. I thought I had it all now I am a lost one.

Internal battle my soul strike my conscious. Civil war of my system. I failed my brain. Now I had to go insane. Let it be known like kuvuki kingdom. I saluted my previous existence. While my name was treated as God's. To my entire world I parish sing my name no more. Empty spot autocrat me. I thought I had it all now I am lost one.

Indeed emotions are blind. My anger and happiness betrayed my trust. They stole my loves virginity. North, east, south, west in all the edge earth let it be spread like HIV virus that lonely man found his empty spot. I am hard to say no to my cottage like a victim of sex. I thought I had it all now am lost one.

A special mood on my face was the expression what do you want while you cried. Middle finger was the second, now my bride is bankrupt. Life of fantasy it has extinct. Forgive me is now my name, kingdom of love got rid of me. Forgive me is affirmative I got permanent resident in empty spot. I thought I had it all but now I am lost.

The Endless Days of Struggle

Life is like a piano
White keys are good moments of life
Black keys are bad moments of life
Both keys when played together gives sweet music
No one is there who always had dark days
There is one and that is me !
There will be a vast to give thoughts on a starting journey
But when it becomes an endless journey
No amicable ones will be there to condole the agony
It`s the spring wheel of time
One who sacrifice is never applauded
Be an autocrat
Never take the words of others
Be the king of the world by one`s own word
This leads to a fruitful life
If not days will be always dispirited

Trump Change

1762 Catherine the Great:

"Moi, je serai autocrate: c'est mon métier.
Et le bon Dieu me pardonnera:
c'est son métier."

2017 Donald John Trump:

"Me, I will be an autocrat
That is my job
And God will forgive me
That is His job!"

Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.

Oval Sanatorium

Nutty grandpa president
is talking crazy uncle Donald again
His little Chucky thumbs
is tapping epithet tweet nonsense
Batty grandpa’s been
grumpily sucking
on the hate hot sauce bottle
stashed in his KKK closet
Now he’s sporting a Commander-in-Chief cap,
dressed in a wrinkled birthday suit
Churlish grandpa wanna blow the nuclear candles out
in his Oval padded room
He’s trying to smear his coconut-frosted
pejorative German chocolate cake
on every African looking face
Calling Doctor Strangelove and nurse Annie Wilkes Misery,
bad Grandpa is verbally pooping all over the place
His anti-social, mood swing meds
is scattered everywhere on the bed
Nutty grandpa prez
is a stable genius he says
But his schizophrenia behavior
is open and shut caged rage ... Jekyll and Hyde
Hannibal Lecter ... American Gothic suicide
Old Grandpa says
young women love him like Frankenstein’s bride
His paranoid soul
got a misogynist itch
in it’s nether parts
Curmudgeon grandpa claims he’s really rich,
and has an Ebenezer Scrooge heart
Nutty grandpa prez don’t like no immigrants
who came from where he ain’t
Straight jacket truth wraps him wrong,
he loves to swear that he’s no saint
Crazy grandpa just wanna roam the West Wing halls at night,
cursing at everybody left and right
His angry autocrat ticker just wanna be dictator loved
with family suck-up sniveling loyalty
Cuckoo grandpa flew his nest egg eyes over someone in the staff,
whose nurse Ratched mirror image greedy
Nutty grandpa president just got another person fired
for improper cleansing backside kissing
And the raucous din,
rising from the voter base-ment,
means it’s electoral shock therapy time again
So lock the border doors —
keep it dissent quiet, dum-dum
Czar grandpa prez don’t like all that democratic noise
Silence of the lambs,
that soothing lullaby hum
Is the sweet sound
that calms his Joker tweeting thumbs
Rest your rage, nutty grandpa prez:
Uneasily snore deeply,
wearing your Mad Hatter MAGA brim
(keep having more troubled, neo-Nazi policy dreams
of Making America Great Again)
As the White House hospice staff is issuing
M.A.S.H unpatriotic greetings
to Parallel reality refugees
seeking insane asylum ...
Welcome, to the Oval Sanatorium

I Got Into Politics To Help People Really

Fascism
Communism
Socialist
Conservative
Democrat
Autocrat
Dictatorship

So you got into Politics to help people
I hear you say
This is your Rally Call
Your mission statement
Your soap box platform

But where do you come from ?
Who do you dwell amongst ?
What experience do you have ?
Of despair and poverty ?
Fear of crime
And what the future holds for your children ?

Then I ask you sincerely ?
How on earth are you going to help me exactly ?
And why should I vote for you ?

Just because you are the lesser of 2 evils
Because when all is said and done
That is the underlying Political Reality
Whether it be them or you
There is nothing anyone can do

Every Ism and Ideology
Has been tried before
With little or no joy

The Poor remain Poor
The Rich get Richer
You get the Picture

A vote only counts up until the moment
The ink dries
And the lies begin in Ernest
Burnt again for 4 more year's
Until voting time comes round again

And resurrecting the bleats and tweets
Vote for Change
Yes we can
Let me help you

Empty Spot

Royal banking, in the mist of dilemma.
Money buy my instinct.
Full defeat possession.
Valley of misery.

My name is known in forbidden mountains.

Hard to say no to cottage like a victim of sex.

O Death

O Death, how can I not resent it that
Your dire rapacity admits no bounds?
With no appeal… unmoved, an autocrat
Whose cruelty every human ill compounds,
And in the end all final hope confounds.
That you must come for me upsets me less
Than something much the harder to address:
For every friend and loved-one that you take,
My grief is all too potent to express,
And far too adamant to ever shake.

Premium Member Proud of Lies

I stole millions but boy, I am proud!
Crowds just love me, I guess!
Even writing a book, people adore me, for crying out loud.
Learned that criminality, pays, no duress!

The Lion of Power is all the rage these days.
Lies and crushing peoples rights is de jour.
We've silenced millions in their social media haze.
Our latest, doubled masked wearing rage.

Of course, mass media is our left arm.
They are liars posing as the Ministry of Truth.
We indeed plan, for this nation, censorship and more harm.
Enjoy your deserts of yummy non- truths!

Notice, please....I keep churches under my rulings.
Job losses mean nothing at all to me!
Even, the Pope better learn from my schoolings.
Thanks for making me King of the Hill, in DC~ the autocrat,
Whom I always wanted to be!
