Best Assailants Poems
If my mind were a war torn map and anxiety an invading force
A thorough search of my cerebrum would avail no remorse
Is there a hoard of grotesque assailants standing at the border
Or do I suffer from tensions dispensed by some mental disorder
None the less I attack first with nothing but the element of surprise
No weapon, no armor, no countrymen, just a crumbling enterprise
I swing my sword in the direction of the pale ghost filling the night
Cutting to ribbons the notion that I released a lost dog in the fight
Misfortune is mine as the battle rages in the back of my optical lobe
Fixated on the fact that there is a fixed fight at the end of the road
Without negligence I execute the figure who seems to be orchestrating
The darkened world in which I have been unsuccessful in navigating
With a cough of blood his mouth released a final exasperating word
A man cannot win when he cannot escape falling on his own sword
It took years of tears, torture, trials and tribulations for me to see
Thine own enemy I could not circumvent was me and my “anxiety”
Panicked people pour into the streets pushing past each other; they’re powerless
Against the awful atrocity unleashed by unknown armed assailants.
Normalcy has fled; so many in the debris are left lying dead!
Disarray, destruction, distress and doom! On screens around the world we see
Escapees emerging wounded from rubble. From everywhere, we keep watching
Madness made manifest by malcontents in the mountains of mutilated bodies.
Obscene and odious terrorism, now overflowing in the land -
Never before in my own lifetime has nefariousness felt so omnipresent, nor
Immoral acts so incessant and innumerable!
Ugly and ubiquitous, these evil deeds could be humanity’s undoing.
More noble souls are needed, else we become *All Devil’s Land!
Aug, 1, 2016 for John Hamilton's Pandemonium Poetry Contest
Oops, I had a typo on last line; hope I caught it in time!!
*All Devil’s land is the literal translation of Pandemonium
From mouth to ear, from hand to hand
Through persecution in dangerous lands
Jesus is looking for souls
And in response, the heroes of the Gospel shine their light
Most not assigned to war before; called now for the highest of fights
While this most precious fact remains
That at some point they each said to themselves
The Gospel of Jesus Christ
Is worth more than my life
And so they ride at the speed of God
As an extension of His mercy
And carrying His law
Way back to Acts of the Apostles
There have been heroes of the Gospel
Through gladius and lion's teeth
Through torture, fire and unbelief
There weren't too many hearts unshaken
When heroes prayed for their assailants
They wear the chains that don't unlock
They've preached the word from chopping blocks
But they would never feel whole
If they weren't trying to save souls
Way back to Acts of the Apostles
There have been heroes of the Gospel
Until the enemy is toppled
There will be heroes of the Gospel!
Matthew 16:18 KJV
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
A heckler in the audience
Makes his point out proud
In an audience of shadows,
The flesh and bone stand out
I’m willing to hear you out —
That other voice in my head
The benefit of the mightiest doubt —
No difference at all
Between said and unsaid
A puppet on the heartstrings
Can’t dance by himself
Just like the way a castrato sings
You’re glad it’s someone else
I’m ready to tuck you in—
That other voice in my head
One out of two of us sure to win
Here’s hoping it’s not
Some third-party instead
Oh no, not you again
I’ve heard all you have to say
You’re nobody’s king of conversation,
But some genius said
You could join the fray
That heckler in the audience —
Just so happens that he’s right
He’s the kindest of all my assailants
He’d walk me thru the most bitter night
The nineteen-ninety-four Olympic games
were held in Norway that specific year;
the thing that I remember, shame of shames...
two women athletes made the news...oh, dear.
Named Tonya Harding, Nancy Kerrigan,
great figure skaters, talented, well-known,
made history when jealousy began,
and Tonya did not want to share the 'throne'.
Ex-husband and accomplice, with baton,
attacked, caused injury to Nancy's knee;
and this was all the news could center on...
'good versus evil' made sport's history.
She healed in time to then participate
in finals, earned the Silver; Tonya lost.
Assailants went to jail; headlines abate.
Black mark on that Olympics was the cost.

So mischievous was Aphrodite's dissonant minion of love
Instinct is discerning towards arrows released from above
With a dishonest consideration to environmental influences
He pulled back his bow
Finger still wet from determining the wind's lingering effect
On the emotions below
Releasing piercing assailants from the invisibilities of love
Instinct is discerning towards arrows released from above
Some say he carried a torch to inflame a cold lover's heart
After piercing it through
Or did the dancing flame's movements depict the direction
The winds of change blew
Whether through wind on water or fire, he shot off for love
Instinct is discerning towards arrows released from above
Scantily clad and trembling in February's cold air does not
Fruition in precision archery
Mix in a thin skin that stings in a shaking submission and
Cold hands shoot clumsily
Arrow tip is dipped in a poisonous mix of desire and love
Instinct is discerning towards arrows released from above
His alabaster intentions flanked by the callous and careless
Comprehension of a child
With no elevation calibration and a credulously nascent mind
Misapprehensions go wild
Sporadic, plastic, acidic, nomadic, orgasmic is erotic love
Instinct is discerning towards arrows released from above
Grey faced with white feathers his descending arrows know
No proper guidance
With knowledge as a shield I voice my own decisions with a
New found stridence
Venus plays with love as does a cat letting an injured mouse
Deliberately think it has made it safety to a hole in the house
To be an ethical shot the hunter at best should only occasionally
Succeed with his kill
Leaving the hunted the opportunity to take a stab at love with
Their own free will
Monster
just before the kill
corner of eye
mirror shard
piece of something
i had sculpted
from betrayals
beatings
in the pit of my
nightmares
what are you?
i turned to stare:
“I am the Monster
made in your image
beaten boy
abandoned baby
till death do I march
in defense of schemes
here at your bequest
roots of shattered dreams
do not mock me
I protect you
from the knife of pleasure
lodged at the core
of black disaster,
who but I will suture
your shattered soul
keep falsehoods true
and innocence unbattered?
hideous kiss
upraised hand
black and blue
fists and you
I will devour
the broken promise
fissured failure
foul and fuming
I am the cradle you spun
round your pain
I am hero
in nothing but stain,
do not judge me
I have served you
I have kept you sane.”
just before the kill
my monster turned to
terrorize
assailants
assassins,
perpetrators of doom
heartless nurturer
in a crushed room
i cried and cried
cried and cried
until breath twisted
pleading choking
what when
how will I survive?
just before the kill
just Him and me
who will decide
how it will be
the Monster ran
and ran and ran
quicksand, concrete
roiling seas
thrashing, lashing
foaming groaning
till even It
lay spent and moaning
limp in my arms
fearsomeness withdrew
the scales of time
shed dreams anew
and i who thought i hated Him
let truth be known
that Ugliness
is Absence
and cradled tenderly,
He was beautiful too.
It was a very dark night
With no one to listen her plight
She looked for mercy, but found wanton eyes filled with lustful delight.
She saw her life flash before her eyes, her fright now scaled new height
It was a horrendous feeling, one of pain and Hurt
Alas it was all over: the face of her family suddenly dazzled in her mind, clear and bright.
The perceived guilt-ridden existence weighed her like an anchor weighs a ship
The assailants had left her alive but scarred her for life
She dreaded society more than her present trauma, for she may recover from second, it is the first one which will haunt her for life.
Her woes weren't on her life in siege
But the forerunner of fate's besiege
Her guts sensed an unknown chill
As faceless men stalked her in dark.
Speaking truth, half of men turn foes
Other half silent in fright of a regime,
A force that divide men by their faith
To rule forever with evil staff of hate.
She spoke of castes that suppressed
She spoke against blind belief of mass
She spoke of slavery from blind Faith
She spoke against the power corrupt.
She wrote of suffering brought by men
Her strength in free thinkers fast grew
Nightmare of a regime if people think
Evil designs spread in the market of hate.
Mom for many, courageous and clam
Never wavered before truth and facts
Spoke with clear concepts and concern
She knew her enemies, but went on.
She wanted this world a better place
She yearned men to equally prosper
She wanted poor free their shackles
Of slavery of mind of conniving men.
They schemed a plan for her exit
Men with guns were sent stalking
Shots were fired on a fragile frame
She fell dead before her own house
They cheered her death for a fees
They started build narratives in hate
The powerful struck a name in a list
A list of people soon going to die.

there was a large explosion

Alpha and Omega
The reality is that I love men.
They are perfect, just as they are.
Not always doing as they are supposed to do.
Not paying attention to fears that are false.
Strong backbones, fierce fighters for right,
and assailants to all wrong.
Fixing things, making things, creating.
God loved Adam,
and he was made in His own image.
What a glorious fact.
Woman, taken from the side of man,
to be close, loved and cared for.
What a precious gift.
The two become one.
A circle is complete.
A family is born.
Children the blessing.
For some if not all.
The greater gift,
the spiritual walk,
with each other,
through life,
and its ups and downs.
Depending on God in all things,
knowing that He is with you...
both.
Legend Of The Black Dove
(Part 4) "The Imposter"
When the dust had settled in the pit, there was a movement
As the Black Dove had fortunately fallen between the pinnacles.
However, Jack Wild was not so lucky as he impaled himself upon
One of these obelisks. The Dove took a running jump and found
Himself atop of the pit, he ran over to rescue the other
Trapped men. Fate had been kind to his friend Rex Murphy,
While the other three men were hurt and needed medical attention.
The Dove and Murphy carry out the men to the Golden Coach,
Which took them back to Southerly. The local doctor managed to
Patch them up enough to be taken back to the local jail in Dover.
It was time to return the coach, so Rex Murphy and the
Black dove started back for Dover. By that time the Black Dove was
Satisfied that he had finally tracked down the men who had
Murdered his friends. He lay down (leant against the seat-back)
In the coach for a rest. The coach was approaching Dover when
Murphy notices a group of Men by the road. He stopped to investigate.
As it turned out they Had been robbed by a masked man wearing a
purple waistcoat with a Black Dove insignia on it. He had shot and
killed two people before stealing their horses. Three passengers climb
aboard the coach. As they continue their journey to Dover. The imposter
and his five Assailants, who had been lying in wait, emerged from behind
the rocks. They where heavily armed and the leader disguised as
the Black Dove Bade Murphy and his passengers to step out of the coach.
In the Meantime the real Black Dove who was inside the coach, climbed
Out of the window, sneaked around the coach and leaped to the
Top of the rock. He picked out the Leader, then jumped off the rock
Onto the horse grabbing the imposter and sending the horse into panic.
The horse gallops off with the two men wrestling with each other.
The horse raced around the place near the swamp were the horse
Sinks into quicksand. The two Doves were also trapped in the fast
Sinking quicksand as they continue to struggle, Both finally sinking
Out of sight......
Is this the end of the Black Dove and his imposter ?
Will any one succeed in rescuing them in time ?

No, ´Grab me by the pussy is not a joke,
It is not locker room talk, no Alpha male stuff,
I was only 6 years old.
Let it sink in.
6 years. Old.
Or young.
When a male Alpha´ed his less than whatever
is the last Greek letter in that Alphabet behaviour
On my itty bitty self.
My crime for being female.
My punishment for being a child.
You don´t say it´s toxic masculinity
When you dare open your mouth and blame me
For being raped when I was nothing more than a baby,
Not an adult in any
Sense of the word.
Or make excuses for their behaviour.
Tell me men do not know better.
The fact that you think you need to make excuses, tells me,
Men know better but they just don´t care.
Or when I am again sexually assaulted and
A bit after that again raped and
Abused and beaten by different men.
Could you not hoover over these predators and say:
“This is ********. No man should behave this way.
And no man held to normal standards of humanity does.”
Instead you say:
“How could you let it happen it to you again?
How could you let yourself get into harms way?”
As if I had a choice in the matter,
As if 50% of the world is not basically populated with men,
And you all are kinda hard to avoid
Or ignore
Or open about the fact whether you are a rapist or not.
And when I assume you are not, I am too trustworthy.
And when I assume you are, I am not trustworthy enough.
I can´t win.
I am the sum of my parts and nothing,
No nothing
More.
I am a pussy to grab,
A boob to lick,
A back to throw against the wall,
A head to smash against the pavement.
And when one of my assailants
Suddenly becomes a neighbour
You ask me why I smile when I see him in the hallway,
You ask why I just didn´t move
House
As if I could move.
10 years after he threw me on the ground
And I still could not move.
How symbolic.
Seasons pass as tendencies fall
Tripping over laws that order societal resolve
A laughing matter not for the victims assailants never caught
Consuming thoughts processed opposite happy holidays
Timely reminders of days with doubt of faith
Following what remnants of personality are left
In remembrance to the passing of a seasons embrace
Changing of tides gradual yearly overflow
Floating precariously upon the viscous layer that is ground level
Humid are the days within this worlds corrupted bubble
Popped superficially the seams of jeans without repair
Airy and light the right direction for health is to share
Open up the closed door that bridges only hope
That shines us through the night filled days
Trials our tasks that drift us to part different ways
As the tearing of our eyes judge loosing growth
Never giving up knowledge in search of what is to be believed
Minds expanses with infinite possibilities wants needs to reach
To gain the sponge of absorption an advantage rarely sought
Fill to leak what we read sharing the truth that speaks with free thought
A literal fantasy that unravels all destinies
Untied are the shoes that do trip over no thing
Imaginary is the divide that conquers our mind
Faced with a message to seek ourselves and find
The laughter designed to wrap us in figurative speech
Leeching opinion outward most personal belief
Revolting awareness currents honest denial
The waste collected to be filed in the system since a child
