A cautionary tale I have for you.
Trust no one that you see on Halloween,
especially whom you’ve opened your door to.
Trickery diabolical I’ve seen.
One Halloween while feasting with a friend
on Reece’s pieces (popular for treats),
the door bell rang. Who knew it was the end
of my poor friend? She thought they wanted sweets.
Three vampires with one alien just said,
“Can you come off your porch?" She was apprised
of someone who was hurt and nearly dead.
She left with them, then vanished. Paralyzed
was I. It was abduction. After dawn
I only found some blood where she had gone!

There once was a banker from Britain
Who sat on a snake and was bitten
But his assets were apprised
To have quadrupled in size
While attending nurses were smitten!

The augury of him in Crimea was so
That Ekaterina said she was tired of sandwiches
But I did have black tea, black Latvian bread with her black Ikra near Black Sea
Hundreds of kilometres from Kiev and from Moscow in Odessa where heresy breaches
I beated her wings in no confinement,in no vituperation
She flew flower to flower to no destination
She knew I was a drinking son of pride straightaway
And I apprised me that she was a drunk daughter of arrogance having me in sway
At night on table when Putin came with my rassolnik
And said that he had seen many earthquakes being not born a Japanese geek
I felt in my bedroom her shenanigan moves
A carefully preserved time capsule in grooves
Rubbers burnt got her season
and wheels vulcanized got his prison
Dudley Castle and Kremlin cannot be friends
With Timoshenkos pillaging appetites in trusses and bends
Keep your red gown for the right time Ekaterina
For I have eaten all meats-that of a pig, of a cow, horse and bear
And eschew my emotions like a ballerina
A square,a quadrilateral,a rhombus and a parallelogram are not the same when each buccaneer
Vladimirs have always condescended bloody Mirs of Dagestan
In the duel between Russian charlottes and Turkish harems
The fishing villages of acrimony and Satan
I will not count Ekaterina`s eggs for my child`s Ukrainian mother in tandems
Vocabulary used
Ikra-Russian caviar in poetry`s context its the black caviar or fish eggs.
Rassolnik- is a traditional Russian soup made from pickled cucumbers, pearl barley, and pork or beef kidneys. A vegetarian variant of rassolnik also exists. The dish is known to have existed as far back as the 15th century, when it was called kalya

In Love With a Poetess
_____________________________________
I'm in love with a poetess/
Her words choke my feelings
Lifting me up to the ceilings
The thicker her words,
The faster my emotions move upward
She metaphorically strategize my heart
Turn my love into imagery like art
Exaggerations tearing me apart
_________________________________________
Totally disorder in my vain
Leaving me with nothing to gain
Breathing no longer take place in
The respiratory system
Rather on the tongue
My life on the edge of the rung//
__________________________________
I'm in love with a poetess/
She believes in pen and paper
My thoughts move off her head like vapor
Maybe my feelings are just wallpapers
Not meant to be taken serious
Her emotion lies in her pen
__________________________________________
She only speak in poetic devices
Tearing my heart into pieces
Her inking differ from my thinking
I think mine is shrinking
My feelings are beautifully sinking
And my love is winking
At her smiles
Using pun to play on my love//
_____________________________________________
I'm in love with a poetess/
I'm jeopardized
I'm apprised of nothing but poetry
I'm no longer interested in mathematics like geometry
It's like telling a fish to walk in the street
Her words are mightier and sharper than razors
Deeper than the oceans
And higher than the skies//.

Romanticism
This reader is aware, that fall is in the air.
Astronomic poems, are simply everywhere.
So don't be surprised
If your words are apprised
By a "triple-wowsa" I left there.
In the comment section under your work,
My "triple-wowsas" do often lurk.
My highest praise,
To express my amaze
A duty which I will not shirk.
I wish I could write a glowing review
With some jargon both bright and new,
But I'm just a guy
With only one eye
So I hope "triple-wowsa" will do.
You may think I'm crazy
And a little bit lazy
But I'm sincere
Way over here
Triple-wowsas are never hazy.

Those smiles bloomed, blossomed fawned
As tears now wander
Upon hearts squander
Love's grave has securely, purely, spawned
We kissed aflutter and danced in shimmer
And my hands apprised
But now glanced disguised
For the shadows glare dolour and dimmer

Do you know what we all should do to meet our own expectations
Embrace the world and our life without all of the hesitations
See the things as we once did with love in your heart
Open our eyes to the world because it's a great way to start
Shake the hand of the first person you come to regardless of who it may be
Add a smile and a sweet hello to make it all complete
Who knows what you may start it may become a trend
And you may find by doing so you have made a new friend
Offer a helping hand when it is desperately needed
Who knows what can happen if you need help it may be unimpeded
Take a look at all we have done to help out this life of ours
Are we taking the steps we need to move our self through the doors
It's ok if we are not sure but we keep trying anyway
Because if in our hearts we know we tried and did our best today
Then as long as we all know and we all understand
That through love and sharing we will be a part that has already been planned
And as promised in the end as we have all been apprised
We will be welcomed with open arms deep into paradise

"Offer my heart, my mind and all."

Thanks for your eyes
As those see my imperfection
Cherished your heart that apprised
What to welcome and for rejection
For your voice that reminds
I am at fault, need to talk
Acceptance means a lot to define
Timeless melody our hearts tracked
As we hold hands in the garden maze
We have time to explore in the prime of life
The challenge is real and we will not be fazed
I took strength with a lovely wife
This day holds something to remember
Even far apart, message sent from my heart
Time escapes as daffodils grow in April
Happy birthday, another hope to start
Birthday poem for my wife

The hardest losses

what has been win/win time lost

Parallelismus Membrorum
Born from slaved backbones of our forefathers and mothers
We have risen, Liberated, freed from encroachment
Apprised through noble heritage, an abundance of history
Mother Africa gave birth, infused life,
rocked the Cradle to all humanity.
Kidnapped for trade of ivory, diamonds, and gold
ancestor’s identities stolen, flogged savagely, and sold
Incarcerated in chains of hate, taken away from the motherland
Violated, stripped and slogged, shipped off to other lands.
Now we discriminate amongst ourselves, hate ourselves, forgot ourselves with colourism and ethnic divide
I’m Black, not black I’m Brown, I’m Redskin, no I’m Lightskin…
Does it matter? I’m tired.
Is it not the Kingdom of Africa, from which we all became?
Enlighten me here, trace our lineage back
Historically, Are we not the same?
Black woman our DNA is welded from the racial suffering of slaved Black women before us
oppression of our own black identity by skin tone does nothing to empower our culture.
Every single one of us like our history of aristocracy
abundantly rich tones of black, browns and golds,
radiant hues of melanin
A creation so exquisite, there’s no denying, we’re phenomenal beings
We are the Aurelian Of Mother Africa — Nubian queens
we shine, we glow, we bling.
Let’s stand together united
empowered through the spectrum of our BLACKSKIN!

In measuring the Doppler shift of stars,
the universe we see seems to expand,
beginning a grand thought that is not ours:
God and the Big Bang do go hand in hand.
Created, the release of His remand,
the science having declared His demise,
heavens now collapse to a grain of sand,
and infinite, its mass, we are apprised;
earth coalesced in time under His watchful eyes.

When that first sliver of grey catches your eye,
and your heart races like the sea when the tide high,
can you just pull that one out, you wonder,
but you believe old stories, and think that might be a blunder!
Like dandelions creeping up in emerald turf, from those black tresses,
a new one each day, the formidable silver streaks appear,
but there is a potion for rescue, the dye to die for, your mind presses,
So you beckon it, and voila! the black is back, and your heart can rest for a while.
Herbal or chemical, the goal is the same,
but if you don’t do something, beyond your imagination is the shame!
And behold the crevices and tributaries being deftly carved in the skin,
which may but spare only the smooth shape of your chin,
what’s the worry, the collagen, botox, a plethora of choices to stretch the hide,
but beware, cos they can pull the brows apart fiercely wide!
and then people may ponder why you look eternally surprised,
and of the money squandered, the spouse will be sadly apprised.
Ode to thee, that makes a woman flush from heat when others are cold,
hormone supplements help, but isn’t it one of the strange truths of growing old,
Mood swings like a flying kite, and temper tantrums galore,
But in the end it makes you wiser than ever, so face it with a smile, and despair no
more!

One night from deep sleep I awoke,
stirred by a light that gently spoke,
oozing love, seeking my consent,
for my soul’s heavenward ascent.
No sooner I nodded my head,
into the vast void, I was led
sans form, for I had vaporised,
truth of oneness clearly apprised,
feeling God’s breath in-dwell each form,
felt within as magnetism warm.
My formless presence, one with God,
gripped by bliss mists stood overawed
in this knowing transcending mind,
free at last from fetters that bind.
This is the wisdom I can share,
with pure hearts who so choose to pair.
