Snake Bit

There once was a banker from Britain

Who sat on a snake and was bitten

    But his assets were apprised

    To have quadrupled in size

While attending nurses were smitten!

wow, this one is just how a limerick should be. VERY GOOD. And Tim, my angels were not weeping, they were singing rejoicing that someone was saved. Believe me, I do not write those kinds of poems very often, but it was somethng for the contest. And wow, you are becoming so cynical, my friend. We come here because it is NOT the real world. I think what we both seek individually does not exist! well, I got MY bad taste of reality today & now I am going to escape in front of my tv! LUv, Andrea

Naughty, naughty boy, Tim. And those nurses deserve a good spanking. Maybe you're up for that? Love, Carolyn

I can actually relate to this, only it was chigger bites. My asset if you can call it that at 12 years old looked like a clover leaf bun. In fact I had forgotten about that until this poem reminded me. I may have to write one to retaliate. Loved it. Charles
