Lost Love Story

The heart that has taken on many parts, the lead role in every play,
Stands up on stage too many times, after a while he forgets his name,
Lost in the illusion, gaining attention from every side,
He starts to personalize every role directing his very life,
A love letter catches his eye from a distant lifetime ago,
Awakening him from the illusion to face a love he's long sinced known,
Shaking him from the dream, bringing his heart back to his roots,
Defying the image in the mirror he sees, this love he misunderstood,
Out of the woods and back to his heart, he gives his identity away,
Recognizing his soul from a past long ago, before he ever lost his way,
After the crowd applauses, he steps away to be alone,
And reads the love letters one more time, for the innocence to find his way home,
An angel stood beside him, unseen and unheard from the crowd,
She took his hand to face the pain, to bring his heart back somehow,
At first he fought her tooth and nail, and pushed the letters away,
She begged and pleaded, you must see the truth, or your heart will truly fade,
He said I will replace this love, there is no time to face this fear,
But the angel warned him, if you regress, you'll be hiding this love for years,
You will be in the moment, here and now, with some happiness from time to time,
But you will always look back, missing your true love, searching for her the rest of your life.

Stock Market

I make profit
I cause loss

I shoot up
I slide down

I change
I remain the same

I get applauses
I get screamed at

I am owned
I am released

Invest in me
I am a stock market

Together Forever

"I do." Two words
Which have sealed our lives
And bound them together
Forever
Goodbye Beautiful License
- License to cheat,
Fool around and get
Fooled around. No more
Late hours at the club. No more
Partying till the sky drops. No more
The life of a party animal. No more
Flings with flirty friends
With a forced smile on my face
I walk down the aisle
With my partner.
Partner! That word scares me!
Shared house, shared room,
Shared bed, shared food,
Shared children perhaps,
Hopefully, shared finances.
That part sounds good
But what a price to pay: freedom!
Exiting the church building
Into the open air
I ignore the cheers and applauses
And glance at the decked hearse
That will convey me to a life of
Confinement.
Have I made a mistake?

The echoing actuality. The pondering sea. The spheres of bouncy
As the protecting shells burst, the inceptions of desire begin fruition by disbursing their energies beyond their boundaries. Passionately exploring, this young fragile seedling crawls via moon's ring's nightfall. Affectionately acquiring a blissful blazing love by tune's spring's rainfall. As the guide from the valley of dawn awakens pulsating towards the frivolous summit, the enduing rays of hope gently disperse their wings inspired by the warmth of the heavens. Life and seeds, planes and trees flicker in the solar light, and frenzy shadows waltz in the twilight. Becoming, building, blossoming into the beauties, to arise amidst nurtured by the waters mist, bestowing a kiss by the azure’s sky. Dancing and singing to their own poetic melodies. But nevertheless, blanket silver chill solstice onset is always at nigh. Some decry for roots are beholden in sands crying in lands that quench for thirst. Others become wrench and accursed. Branches toil, and more find themselves weathering and crippling by the weighted burdens, recoil. Many suffocating in silhouette in a mountainous locus storm. Sounding and abounding in damming lightning and thunderous applauses of mistakes. Once an array of vines, now transformed hung on a rope. Trunks surrendering to parasitic whispers eviscerating all paths of hope. Flees. So, many lost achieves, grieves, fallen crimson leaves and the forgotten paints on the canopy. Overwhelmed by the fragrances of spoil. Decay takes hold. Mushrooms, tombs, and an open vacuum. Not all musings are equally fabricated. For only the foundation of the forest: the giant oaks, the massive kapoks, the ageless pines, and grand willows are the breakers of stone. Those are they who taste the breath of life. Whose arms reach and touch the sky, embraces the rain and abstain in the shine. Whose visions stand at the zenith peak of time

Son of the Sun

Applauses were even, numbers and faces were odd.
Clay was molded and fate washed her palm
Sentences were bold as my story was told.
One of a rusty heart of iron stitches
One of haggard feet of million hitches.
The flames danced bright and night was light
Chalices were of pumpkin and flutes of cane
Rites were roots, skins were dried and drums were drums
Arms were flags gliding on in the ululations
Chitenges were of savanna and tongues were of the zambezi.
Hisses were blisses and kisses were riches
Smiles were fireflies and pals were butterflies
Years had piled, miles were fat, feet was bare and dust lost lust
In kisses were riches and in stitchings were teachings
My fist rattled a straw in the condensed country breeze.
First of the sun and last of the sand
Of elephant heart and eucalyptus will
The tomb was torn, bones made skeleton and from earth crawled legacy.
This cage is sheath, these ribs cradle an epitome of the African Child.

Rowdy Racecar

ZOOOOOOOMING speedily…
Tires squeaking from exhaust… high in volume
Racecar spews out smoke…
Blinding the eyes of a thousand fans

Blooming havoc…
Explosions avalanche downwards
Racecar drives fast and furiously
Awesome feelings launch through me
Projecting panic and twisted bliss

Catching the audience’s full attention…
Tension between challengers increase
Who could stand in their way… not even the coaches
Racecar screeches on the racing street…
Ain’t this competition neat? Come! Take a seat!
This event is brilliant – it’s such a treat!

Producing thrill or disappointment…
Car organs, fragments, shards, remains, limbs, veins
Spurts out in flames… flying at every possible direction
Countless racecars… barely functions – this scene is extremely horrendous!

Yet, the victories are gracious!
Vibrant applauses and thanksgiving triggers enlightening cheer
Have no fear!!!
The moment is ever so precious!

Racecar…you make so much racket and suspense!
Rowdiness is in your nature…who will pay the expense??

The Arts

the arts-ian munywe
i am longing for the day,
the arts will pay.
it is long overdue,
appreciation is due.
i visualize sculptors,
being accorded an audience.
i envision musicians,
being lent many ears.
i see the poets and writers,
receiving thunderous ovations.
i feel rapturuous applauses,
being extended to dancers.
i imagine all the awe,
that painters will experience.
actors too will reap,
more than they had sown.
i am longing for the day,
the arts will pay.

Somewhere In the World

Hide away, my child
Hidden dangers lurk beneath
Innocence prevail

Hatred manifests
Alarmingly disguises
As contorted love

Lost society
Pressured into submission
Subterfuge action

Gains foothold, at last
With enlightened applauses
New generation

Into the soul's well
Restitution shines beacon
Forgiveness takes time

Days of the Year

The days of the year has quickly flown by
collecting aspects of serenity in the clouds,
for passing storms to stir the tremulous sky,
and try to make futility multiply in floods.

But from under gloom voice that hilarious cry,
See happier faces more lustrous make you smile.
With friends whose virtuous lives will never die
their beauty transcends the surprise for a while.

Celebrations to come from the nunnery of advents
unlike other days of the year; today is your birthday,
summary of days on peak season, outlived past events,
This rejuvenation of joy gives youthfulness each day?

Enjoy your dreams and the sweet encore of fantasies,
Sizzle with kisses and firelight stars of beautiful optimism,
beyond the grasp of humanity; soulful symphony echoes,
and the sound reaches to the highest temple in heaven.

Gathering the applauses commission from east and west
compliments make the visage of your virtues increase,
With kaleidoscope colours appeared in tears of interest,
where the value of your worth shall never decrease.

Halo skipping up to the sky; the eclipse makes a happy cry,
flames hides all hint of pain and the rain falling frail,
with moonbeam stars swelled bright in the mock eye,
A clear path between faint feelings and the swale.

Premium Member Janis Martin

Virginia produced a rockabilly pioneer named Janis.
This talented artist was called the “Female Elvis”.
In her youth, she displayed fine musical prowess.
What a flamboyant act she displayed on stage
when rockabilly music was the fifties’ rage!
With her initial hit record “Will You Willyum”,
Janis achieved popularity, and then some.
She drew a plethora of applauses and cheers
whenever personal appearances were made over the years.
The spirit of Janis is now performing in heaven
after she passed away in 2007.

Curtain Call

"Curtain Call:"

Late night's I stare at the portraits you paint,
Seize the most intense feelings to create,
Getting sick of it who knew, chasing this illusion drew,
So here's a rose, here's a dose of my reality,
Beautifully in a peaceful mind that's curse in every line,
Tears me apart inside,
Invoke my Peers to listen,
Yet they have no time as mine was well spent,
Curtain call the last call for tommorow a new day,
Sorry to the friends I made, clutching this into fifth gear reflecting on the year,
While in the backseat staring at the rearview to think clear,

Here's a rose for I put on the Final Show,

Late night's I stare at the portaits you paint,
Tears me apart knowing the love hate for the poetry you make,
Inhibit restrains self-conscious debates,
Why does it seem like I'm so close to this,
Yet a foot away,
Do you notice or am I blind to this illusion?
I haven't the slightest clue if you're listening through,
Farewell was the beginning of something new,
Dear friends I leave you this final clue,
Remember this save that,
The beginning of chapter twenty two,
Growing sick of it don't wanna make you sad,
Who knew I'll be leaving you this final rose,
For the life you and I once had,
Just hold this final rose;

Curtain call soar absent
Unrecognized expertise
Ability prime

Applauses salut inspire too
Absolutely profound tune.

Mute Song

Raining metallic drops
Pounding on my head,
A drum roll...

Raining metallic drops
Slide along my hair,
A violin serenade..

Raining metallic drops
Bouncing from my eyelashes,
A piano symphony..

Raining metallic drops
Makes mascara disappear,
The audience applauses..

Raining metallic drops,
I'll be thinking of you
Next time black clouds spit.

One Last Performance

The applauses shower, they hold all the power
I break out a bow for my finest hour
Bravo, Encore, I exit stage door
My feet, they don't seem to touch the floor
One last glance, a last performance
How many more hours do I keep up this stance
This farce, this pretence, this fake eloquence
Hitch up my pride to clear every fence
I'm running, can't stop til I reach the top
And throw down this shield utilised as a prop
To hold up, support every act I was taught
While captive, imprisoned inside your solid fort
