Premium Member The Fatality

Before birth
I was the universe
All knowing, all embracing
Molecules of beauty in floating meditations
I was everywhere

Then............
The darkness.........
The womb.......
I begot limbs and flesh
Imprisoned inside this human frailty

I was freed, exposed, pushed, fallen into humanity
Lights, voices, sins, I screamed
They cut off my only bond to the universe
Here, a baby an orphan of the heavens
Imprisoned upon the imperfections of human realms

Hell.................
The holy book of sins...........
The great sadness.........
I miss the cosmic beauty
Stuck here, the devils collection of earthly kin

Days... weeks.....decades…. despair......
I plotted and planned
The great escape
From this finite boxed in land
I begged the infinite, and danced with infinity

The universe waltzed
I twirled with insightful delight
Soon, to be rejoined with eternal light
To be free, to roam the stars
My death, now rejoined with the heavens and all of thee

You visit, candles and crocus upon Parisian stone
I am neither there or even here any more
I have become what I once was, healed and whole
All knowing, all embracing
I am God, the universe once more

If I Had To Paint a Picture of Me Loving God What Would I See

If I had to paint a picture of me loving God what would I see?
would I see a portrait of a person who walks in truth and honesty?

In order to paint a picture of me loving God
I would have to access all the experiences that to me life did impart
did I have a good relationship with my mom and my dad?
was it loving and supportive or distant and sad?
did I get along with my siblings? did we look out for each other?
did we play and love each other like true sisters and brothers?
were my needs being meet? did I ever learn to trust and believe?
am I balanced enough to cope according to the lessons in life I've received?

Multi-generational, familial or systemic social receptions
all of this has played a part in my life perceptions
we all have distortions in every aspect of our living
we now must deal with the reality at this time we've been given

was my life exactly as I remember? or are there things that I've repressed?
are there issues that are buried inside me that now make me depressed?
deep-seated anxiety, personal pain and high expectations
feelings of inadequacy, destructive criticism and bouts of frustration
we all have issues that we now need to bring out and discuss
in order to have authentic relationships we need to have real trust
we all have some brokenness that needs to be healed
so that our full love for the Lord God can one day be revealed

God is not distant like a CEO in the corporate tower
God is not pressuring us with His omnipotent power
God does not keep score He just watches over our souls
God is fair and just and doesn't set for us high goals
God is all embracing He nurtures, instructs and forgives
He's kind, patient and loving in this life to us He did give

So if I had to paint a picture of what it looks like for me to love God
it would be a colorful canvas of emotions, perceptions and reflections from my heart

Premium Member An Ode To Love

When we so chose, to manifest on earth,
Stirrings of love divine, brought forth a pulse;
Our innate aliveness, bubbling with mirth,
Humming resonation with God’s impulse,
Feeling by touch, each offered sensation,
In playful, blissful, childlike innocence.
Heart outpoured joy in spontaneous verse,
Soul aligned as one with all creation,
Dwelt in glory of God’s magnificence ~
Exuberance had no need to rehearse.

Our body had it’s need, fuelled by greed;
Gripped by desire, our mind was in a fog.
Stirrings of ego, soon started to breed,
Boon now bane, tail began wagging the dog.
Baton of awareness shifted to mind.
Insentient to love, our heart grew cold,
Enslaved by lust, we had nowhere to hide,
Bound head to foot in ego’s ruthless bind.
Love became a trade, soul to devil sold,
Our heart contacted, though God dwelt inside.

Back to the start, the time our soul was free;
By God’s grace, we melded head with our heart,
Throb of love as conscience, our referee,
Soul’s radiance restored as work of art.
Love in love with love offers no excuse,
Beauteous, all embracing, lyrical.
Bubbling effervescence is it’s delight;
Presence then succumbs not to ego’s ruse,
An epitome of God’s miracle,
Love drenched soul again glows as living light.

Towering high the pine tree spies
Darkness gleaming across the skies.
All-embracing limbs it reaches
In all directions it beseeches.
Yearning for ominous actions to end
Locked they hide; secretly they offend.
Veiled is the door guarding treacherous fate
Never exposing; hold and isolate.
Looming colossal to pointed peak
Shadows adorn branches yearning to speak.
Piercing the court’s air the almighty giant cries
Wind: Roar. Needles: Skewer. Nothing it denies.

The Fire In the Distance

Who knew
the fires could burn so hot
 all-embracing and consuming
rejuvenating the heart with a newfound love
born to be alive with you forever
and no other, pure and unconditional
as the entire world slips away.

New life rises
 feelings of emotional tenderness
to shiver the soul with chills and perspiration
joy shared so profusely it drowns out the self
so that all else fades to oblivion
between the two, steadfast and genuine
living without would be unfathomable.

How true is this love
 how long-lasting
 how pervasive, invasive, abrasive
mysterious and delirious
 like nothing ever felt before
true love like true lies whispering
can this be real, everlasting, forever?

Only the lovers
bound and entwined in the dream
within its hidden secrets bound tight
will ever know
as they are drawn in the heat
and the fires in the distance of time.

Premium Member Sin Is But Ignorance

We act in ignorance and call it sin,
being sadly, the genesis of guilt,
so if we wish to be free, let’s begin
by discarding beliefs that make us wilt,
remodelling mind on such beliefs built.
Love all embracing, is quick to forgive,
so let vibrancy be the way we live,
releasing ourselves from fears forms we spawn,
knowing God’s boundless love always does give,
living mindfully, each breath a new dawn.

I Walked a Mile With Pleasure

What did Pleasure do? She robbed you!
"But it was great while it lasted!"......Was it?

I walked a mile with Pleasure; she took my breath away,
She told me how she'd laughed and danced many nights away,
With unsuspecting people, whom she'd captured with her charms;
How she'd smothered and cajoled them, in her all embracing arms.

I walked a mile with Pleasure; her allure was plain to see!
"They worshipped what I stood for! The world they wanted me.
They reached out in their blindness, through boredom and despair;
Pleasure is what they asked for and Pleasure was right there."

I walked a mile with Pleasure, she loved extravagance!
She captivated millions and put them in a trance.
She robbed them of their money, pride and self esteem
And left them cold and hungry with half remembered dreams.

I walked a mile with Pleasure, she said, "They could have run!
They could have moderation! Instead they wanted fun.
My role was very simple! It was to satisfy!
I gave them all they wanted and that I can't deny!"

Enigmatic Blue

Your essence pervades the depths unto the heights
And sprinkles spring gardens with posies of remembrance.
You grace the robes of the humble Virgin
Yet fan majestic strutting pride.
Without you a celestial promise would be incomplete
And how you love to turn up unexpectedly;
Startling star amidst golden corn,
Mesmerizing monarch of shallow streams.
Our feelings are tinted by you
And you colour the windows of the soul.
You course through veins of noble birth
And daub the beggar's frozen skin.
You are faithful and loyal, all-embracing, enigmatic blue.

World Wide Web

World wide web encompasses all,
An amazing apparatus!,
Accelerating communication of knowledge,
And information throughout the world,
It's speed, it's convenience,
It's all embracing nature,
Makes it a phenomenon,
Transforming the world in everyway;
Internet is multimedia,
It serves as a TV,
It works as a radio,
It is a veritable newspaper-all in one,
The world's knowledge at your finger tips,
To lead you to the ends of the earth,
Entertainment, games, buying and selling,
All at ease with the internet,
Adam ate the forbidden fruit,
And triggered-the thirst for knowledge,
Knowledge spread its tentacles,
As seen in the world wide web.

No Excuses

No Excuses

In the midst of the present,
No excuses.
Fell down, got up
Then flight
But the bruises ache
 As I turn the pages
To move on, discern
As one of lifes excuses.

Practice, appease, try to please
Yet I failed, Time and time again
Possibilities pass me by
And I thought
Picked a wrong card.
 I cheated, lost
 But I could find
One of lifes excuses.

Felt love, lost love
Heaven above.
The thrust, the lust
All embracing
Till I got the rush
Feeling the force of the crush
Caught a diamond
But a busted flush
To my disappointment
I had to run
 In the arms
Of lifes excuses.

Profession of music, geometry
Physics and Biology
Bisect,disect, Fusion of intellect
Expanding virtues of trials and failures
But there is the revision,
The safety Of lifes excuses

Dharma Gateway

Death, existence, come and go,
Like a tidal undertow…
Waves that toss us, winds that blow,
Raging storms and biting snow,
Hunger, anger, joy, and woe,
Hellish heat with burning glow…

Saints and sages ‘in the know’
Quibble bookish quid pro quo.
Artful seekers high and low
Chase illusions to and fro,
Board their boats and row, row, row,
Partially-illumined, though…
Ever-present, apropos,
Where true wisdom waters flow,
Those mind-opened practice, show
That enlightenment will grow
From the lotus seeds they sow
(Equally for friend or foe)
Of Nam-myoho-renge-kyo.

Mortals here on planet Earth,
Do we see a being’s worth?
Know the gateway to be free?
Realize where lies the key?

Ancient Buddhist scrolls unfurled,
Let us sense our inner world,
Walk around within, explore,
Enter through the Dharma door…

Lost will find what’s gone amiss,
In despair, in want, or bliss…
Humankind at precipice,
Life itself abides in this
Single all-embracing phrase!
Sounds profound, astound, amaze…
Who recites it sings its praise,
Dark of nights and bright of days…

Utterness Dharma
Wholly revealed!
Sentient karma
Lastingly healed!

And we plod on… fast or slow,
With the work in progress, so
As to render what was heard,
Each and every golden word
Of the Oral Teachings by
Nichiren… that is, we try—
Plus some Buddha Writings, more
Handed down from ages yore,
Many from the olden store
Still as timely as before—
Thus to offer, help bestow
This Nam-myoho-renge-kyo…

 ~ Harley White

[For Martin Bradley and Gerhard Lenz]

Nam Myoho Renge Kyo means to devote our lives to and found them on (Nam[u]) the Utterness of the Dharma [entirety of existence, enlightenment and unenlightenment] (Myoho) permeated by the underlying white lotus flower-like mechanism of the interdependence of cause, concomitancy and effect (Renge) in its whereabouts of the ten [psychological] realms of dharmas (Kyo).

Premium Member Brooding Thoughts On Another Night of Dread

It is dark and night outside my window,
and in the soundless, lit confines of my
room I sit at my old, ivory desk

cheerless

and anxious with dread for what the rest
of another night may bring.

My ostomy bag, an abhorrent creature that
hugs precariously on one side of my abdomen,
covers my raw and fleshy stoma underneath.

Against my desire, the stoma continually oozes
feces and waste

like a sewer into the ostomy bag, which,
every seven days or so ruptures its seal
and transforms into

a stinking and rancid cabbage

whose fetid odor refuses to stop emanating
until the entire, offensive beast is immediately
uprooted from my body.

So, I sit at my ancient, ivory desk, writing
these cherry-picked words to express

the anxiety and the doldrums
of another night;

and the lonely, isolating, embarrassing, humiliating,
ego-wiping, self-esteem killing, mind-numbing,
soul-shattering, universal, all-embracing,
omni-present

stench

that weekly offends my nostrils and fills my lungs
because of a thoroughly used-up ostomy bag that
needs to be removed immediately

like an old, decaying vegetable
that has outlived its
freshness—

It is another cheerless night in the same, old
cheerless space:

the nose-blistering smell, however, is only for
another night....

The Great Beauty
                   by Odin Roark

How short lived
This laughter made for releasing
Buried in the tragedian
Locked in the universal clown costume
We

You and me

We might watch Fellini’s balloons part
But the message of La Dolce Vita
Has faded into paparazzi history
Or perhaps
Never was

But

Taking up the Master’s baton
Paolo Sorrentino runs like a gazelle
His Great Beauty
Revisiting the question

A man lent to us
Provides a moment
Where one’s man for the ages
For our lifetime
A sufferer for both woman and man
Torn between the paternal instinct
And imagined freedom…
Becomes alone
Yet all-embracing

Such a price
We might say

Italy’s microcosmic decline
Man’s countenance on trial
His worth awaiting
A Christie's auction

Everything with its levy

Yet

What price the good life?
The good life seldom realized?

The kind lived
Then rebuked in
The Great Beauty?

Oh to seek
The unanswerable
Not the self-cocooning
Of “I know”
And the peace of inner-nothingness
Sublime’s secret

Like Sorrentino’s protagonist
We all live in bubbles
The question is about choice
Your bubble
Or
Mine?

My future captures my imagination
as my past succumbs to memory.

I imagine winning this economic game
by competing with everyone
and continuing to win unsurpassed
to finally arrive at my goal
alone
no one else anywhere near my self-inflicted finish line,
behind locked doors within my own keyed-up competing mind.

Each day invites my reincarnation
of yesterday and each day before.
Each year reincarnates the prior year,
but now a year older,
and seen from diverse nuance perspectives.

Each life reincarnates prior DNA unfolding lives before,
but now a generation older,
seen from diverse sensory systems across species,
cultures,
languages,
degenerating and regenerating
decomposing and re-integrating.

Each new millennial generation invites resolving reincarnation,
as this trans-generation completes our global energy sharing network,
learning together how we each cooperate our hope for Earth,
for our children, and theirs, and theirs...
for ourselves,
regenerating this Common culture sensed and woven together
more synergetically than possible
on any pre-millennial Earth

Permacultured stories tell of time and place
when and where and why metaphysics and math

of yang-1 with yin-0
regenerations past still unfolding in generating future
within this Presence gifting now.

A Story of Songbirds

Sleep is a beautiful thing.

I have retired from my journeys.

When I wake in morning, I sing about the joy of life and living.

Bean Town begins their daily lives.

You hear all embracing the day.

You stop to enjoy and once heard, you start singing again about the City of friends.

Family relationships are within normal domains.

We laugh, we watch our children play, we cry, we seek a better way, we enriched via learning, we are all aspects of life formed.

This is our world and we enjoy discovering another.

Bean Town and Jake Castle bonded to Nefreda Maria Castle with three children are happily set.

Our minds are for a greater existence.

Plus, we build our shops for a clearer picture.

Bean Town jingles with environment of songbirds in flight.

We will sleep well again tonight.

If not, the day found some form of excitement.

Nothing Jake to fret – not at all…

Tomorrow is tomorrow.

~"Joy and pain.

It's like sunshine and rain."
