Premium Member With Summer Eye Aglow

With Summer eye aglow,
as sidewalks briskly bake.
The stern teacher, asleep.
Old books dusted with shake.
In the Autumn, reopen.
Reopen
with Summer eye aglow,
Buds open.

The sea of Galilee, gallant,
Christ places sole
Of each foot, stirs fear of mankind
Upon ebb and flow,
With Summer eye aglow.
Walks sans pit or pratfalls,
The Son of God - listen
When He calls.

The apple of God’s eye, He shines
In the bleakest days.
Though the proud couldn’t see,
Indeed, the Spirit did raise.
Calvary couldn’t hold Christ down,
As man cannot hold
The royal diadem crown.
That’s too bold!

Upon the earth and sea,
Briskly walks gentle pace -
A constant flow from heaven,
Flow of grace.
With Summer eye aglow,
From creation burns,
Ancient teacher awake -
Mankind learns.

Baby Blue Eyes Aglow

Wild flowers

Swaying in the wind

Petals dancing

It's the season to spring

Feeling Sunshine

Every moment in gold

By fields and road sides

Baby blue eyes aglow

African daisies

They love the damp of rain

Make beds of beauty

When gathered on parade

In mind’s garden

Barren strawberries bloom

All along the winding paths

On Spring break afternoons...

I
Recall
Each moment
When so in love
On that day you asked me to be your bride
I said "yes" with a smile wide as a mile
Happy romance
Hearts a-dance
Upon
Air.

Premium Member Waning Gibbous Moon Aglow

At start of darkening eventide
The skyline brings lustre to one's eyes
As sun is slipping away from sight
The sky is a picturesque delight.

Trees grace the illustrious sunset
In serene, ebony silhouette
Stately they are standing in tableau
Against the radiant sunset show.

Time to let one's negative thoughts blow
Forgetting one's sorrows and their woe
To complete tasks waiting to be done
Afore one's dreamy dreams have begun.

In ethereal nightly gloaming
Lovers everywhere are out roaming
Beneath a magical starlit show
With a waning gibbous moon aglow.

The patchwork fields go on and on
Aglow with roses and green lawn
See upward glance of stars in sky
Angelic light of ranch predawn

Aglow with roses and green lawn
Shower of dew and sun advance
Angelic light of ranch predawn
As chiffon flowers glow and dance

Shower of dew and sun advance
See upward glance of stars in sky
As chiffon flowers glow and dance
The patchwork fields go on and on

Premium Member Hearts Aglow

Prejudice reigns
Bitterness gains
Hate entertains
The flowers grow

Red sun rises
Gift surprises
Love arises
Sets hearts aglow

Premium Member A Community Aglow

I’m taking off in a plane in the dark sky.
My window seat makes me forget I don’t like to fly.
The lights in the city sparkle like jewels below.
It is a community, alive, and all aglow.

I wonder what they are doing in their house-
Cooking, watching t.v., or talking with their spouse.
I will never see these faces behind closed doors,
But think of them as happy, laughing, not a care in the world.

Heaven Is Aglow

HEAVEN IS AGLOW!
Doves will fly in the sweet by and by.
The angels will sing upon entering divinity.
Chariots of the Lord's Army have brought in righteous souls.
Heaven is aglow.

The horns are glorifying the Lord.
     The drummers are superlative.
     Munificence is the atmosphere.
Heaven is glowing.

     Gloriously they sing.
Rejoicing divine and the rapture magnifies.
     Resplendent with wings, they soar.
Heaven is aglow.

The bellow of God in the most deific form delighted the universe.
His spirit is felt on earth.
Who would have known that the Gates of Heaven are open?
Heaven glows.

Sermonizing in her Cathedral, the doves came ushering in.
The voice of the Lord possesses sylph.
Via the Holy Spirit, she shouted the doors are open.
Heaven is for all to seek.

     Beatify!
Beatify!
     Beatify!
Beatify!

Doves will fly in the sweet by and by.
The angels will sing upon entering divinity.
Chariots of the Lord's Army will bring in righteous souls.
Heaven is aglow.

     {The doors of the Church are open!!!}

Premium Member Aglow In the Night Sky

Dazzling is moonlight
transcending glimmering stars
Ornament hung in night's sky
Lustrous orb that rules
ebb and flow of ocean tides
Radiance glows o'er lovers

Within pockets of morning coats a treasure trove is found
useful bit of verse like panned for pebbles of gold abound
For months it seems they've not seen the light of fluff unwound
but on this day, the laundry fey have blithely come to town.
The pockets turned all inside out the scraps of poetry hound
for clean white sheets of pristine paper where they can be put down.

One garbled thought fought in scrawl "Would you ask me to change for you?"
"Like a inconstant moon that quarters, is that what I should do?"
"Should I change for you like the seasons, let all my being go?"
"Give the fall of my life no meaning hide from the Winter's snow?"

I'll not change dear for I've fought and found all of me's aglow.

Premium Member Her Garden Aglow

Her garden adorns a rush of flowers
across a patch imbuing blossomed grace—
enticed is she, despite the close of hours
as Grandma sows roots with her warm embrace:
The obedient morn floods dewy gold
on cycles shifting from autumn to snow,
where jasmines, mums, and peonies unfold
while dimming eyes flash from new buds, aglow...
Till glory of sunrise hallows the leaves,
forgetting old age now weighs on her sleeves.

Aglow

Within your illumination
Happiness and tranquility
Blessed with a possibility
An enchanting temptation

Ruins of fortification,
Shackles of my immobility
Transformed to vulnerability
Seizing offered jubilation

Within your lasting melody
Purity and affection
Abolishing my barricade

Embraced in your serenity
Eternal bliss, my protection
Freed to glow by your serenade

Chastity Aglow

Chastity glow like the fanned embers in furnace
It blazes in flames of purity
Burning around the chaff and impurities
Fueled by the justified true beliefs
It stands upright in a jacket of honesty
And the metal pants of integrity
There it burns out oiled by deep understanding
Setting the embers of realization flickering
While we mortals stand afar watching in admiration
